Question: How does reading The Book of Zohar change the reality of the reader?

Answer: We feel a certain volume, me and my world, which is basically the reflection of my internal spiritual state. If we change this state, we will accordingly begin to change our feeling toward ourselves and the world.

This is very convenient because you don’t need to change anything or to be convinced with regard to anything. You are not dependent on anyone! Change yourselves and the world around you will begin to change.

Question: If we take any letter from the Hebrew alphabet, are its components a point and two lines? Are there no other forms?

Answer: A point and horizontal and vertical lines create a wide variety of combinations between the two forces that create everything that we can see, feel, grasp, and sense, everything that exists, not only in our world, but in all the worlds.

Question: Did the First Man (Adam HaRishon) feel the horizontal force as the power of bestowal and the vertical force as the power of reception, meaning, did he feel these two forces within himself?

Answer: Certainly, and therefore he discovered them. Nothing exists in the world except for these two forces. Plus and minus, electron and positron, and everything else, these are derived from the same two forces.

Answer: It is good to envy, but it should be good envy, which means wanting to be like them and not that they would stop asking questions.

Question: Is it necessary to read The Book of Zohar again and again? Every time I read it I feel that I am delving into a new stratum of sensations.

Answer: Yes. I read The Book of Zohar from beginning to end dozens of times, including when I was working on adapting the text for, The Zohar for the People. Every time we study The Book of Zohar, the text is felt in a completely different manner.

Question from Facebook: What you say is scary. There are those who say that pessimistic predictions invoke pessimistic thoughts in people. Is this how we shape our reality?

Answer: I am not trying to scare anyone. I am talking about what we should expect if we don’t actively participate in our evolutionary process that develops under the influence of the ego, and therefore, we have to do something.

We are leading ourselves to doom and destruction, from bad situations to even worse situations. Everyone can see what is happening in the world. I am not a prophet, I am simply pointing out the current situation because I have a remedy for the harmful actions that lead to harmful outcomes. Take this remedy from me and everyone will be better off.

But if we close our eyes and wait for what may come, we will reach a state in which the earth will no bear us anymore and society will annihilate itself.

Question: Wouldn’t people understand what is going on if you didn’t tell us what the future holds and what we should do? Must you tell people what is going to happen?

Answer: When I was a kid and went to school my parents told me: “You should be a good student, don’t be lazy. If you study well, you will be a great man, everyone will respect you, you will make money and will be able to provide for your family. But if you don’t, things will be bad.”

If we don’t speak, nothing will affect people. This is the reason that I have to explain the situation.

Please forgive that if what I say may be a burden and that perhaps I am not saying it in a very polite and pleasant manner, but believe me that I am speaking out of my love for you. I want things to be good for you.

Question: Does the wisdom of Kabbalah suggest that we increase the egoism inside us so that eventually we will understand that it is futile?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah does not suggest that we engage in increasing our egoism. It only suggests how we can resemble the Creator.

This means that if my nature is a desire to receive for my own sake, I will be able to receive only with the intention of in order to bestow unto others. If I don’t have this intention, I will not receive anything.

I can, therefore, maximize my resemblance to the Creator according to my intention to bestow unto others. If I don’t have this intention, it means that I don’t do anything.

Question: What kind of intention does one need to read Kabbalistic sources if I read them alone, for example, at home or traveling on a train?

Answer: Understandably, it is preferable to study the sources together with others, but many times people read them alone.

However, the intention must always be one: on the basis of the written source, I want to receive knowledge about the correct interconnections of all of humanity into a single system.

According to the degree of our unity, we will become more compatible with the same higher, unique management system that manages all of the still, vegetative, and animate nature and humanity. We aspire to unite because through the connection between us we form a model within us of a higher, unique, and perfected nature.

The model that we feel within us will give us knowledge, power, and possibilities for us to feel that we are in a perfected world. We can change everything around us, including ourselves and society, and we will feel the higher eternal and perfect system. We transform ourselves to be like that system.

Therefore, when there is no possibility for a person to read or study together with others, he does it alone, but with the same intention.

Question: Everyone has already noticed for some time how time flies very quickly. I would like to know what our priorities should be in our learning and advancement.

Answer: Indeed, time flies very quickly. But we can develop even faster, not materially as in our world, but spiritually, if we are, like little children,  obey what the Kabbalists say without any criticism. It all depends on us.

Gather together in a group, try to achieve unity and mutual concern among yourselves, which is how you will have one and only one desire for spirituality. Connect within this desire and dissolve within it. And then through the point that is found on the other side of the ego, you will feel the upper world, the higher power. This is what you must discover.

Unity between us the opportunity to “penetrate” through the boundary between our world and the spiritual world. Forward movement is only through the unity between us. Realization is always internal, in an emotional connection between us.
