Do Not Follow Other Gods

Laitman_514_04Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 8:17, 8:19: and you will say to yourself, “My strength and the might of my hand that has accumulated this wealth for me.” …

And it will be, if you forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, and worship them, and prostrate yourself before them, I bear witness against you this day, that you will surely perish.

“…you will say to yourself, ‘My strength and the might of my hand’” means that you already are going to other gods.

“…you will surely perish” means that you will start again from scratch. That’s what a death is. There will be a destruction, and although not completely wasted, all of your previous efforts will not be able to be used in your movement forward.
