The Torah, “Numbers,” 16:23 – 16:25: The Lord spoke to Moses saying, “Speak to the congregation saying, ‘withdraw from the dwelling of Korach, Dathan and Abiram.'” Moses arose and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him.
The Creator seemingly calls the congregation and says: Leave Korach and Abiram alone! Now you are the ones who can participate in the correction of the new level and not they! They have to die on this level, which means to refrain from using and fulfilling it, while we will proceed. This phenomenon happens many times in life especially among the people when the moment of mercy doesn’t work if they go against the major principles. But Korach has no other choice. It is an egoistic desire that wishes to be corrected, while Moses is detached from him because he is an absolutely pure level.
This is how we are shown that there are levels on which putting the desires to death is their complete correction. Only then are they born and can ascend because their Masach (screen) belongs to pure Bina. The correction of Korach is already the next level: Bina plus Malchut that operate with the intention of in order to bestow. Therefore, when Korach begins to correct himself, he will rise to an even higher level than Moses. Moses operates only until the borders of the land of Israel and then it is already the next level.
