Question: What is our task today?

Answer: The task today is to think about how to construct a spiritual womb and fetus at each and every moment with all the friends together, in other words, building the state of pregnancy. We need to clarify for ourselves which intentions, efforts, and types of connection between us are required to construct the womb and by means of which efforts and types of connection between us do we construct the fetus.

And likewise, it’s necessary to understand what kind of a gap there must be between the womb and the fetus. By means of what will it continue to grow all the time? For the size of this gap determines the influence of the Surrounding Light on us; to the degree that the higher seems greater to us and to the degree that I am lowlier, so the Light that Reforms acts on me more strongly.

Within the Surrounding Light there are Sefirot and many types of Lights that influence us and build us from all various kinds of forms. From the start, we use a material which is formless, unshaped desire. This is like our physical body that is constructed from stem cells that later begin to connect and build various body parts: hands, feet, brain, heart, liver, lungs, and so forth.

They begin to form very complex connections, receiving from the mother all kinds of functions and types of work, to be able to take care of themselves within their body. Previously, the mother supplied blood for the fetus; whereas, now its heart begins to work and after this all the body parts become included in the work, except for the lungs. The fetus begins to function as a living body. Only a few systems are left which are inactive. Afterward we will learn why they are active only after birth.

It has already been proven through research that the fetus sees the world through the tissues of the mother. They turn on a light from the outside and the fetus knows and reacts to this. Don’t you remember how you blinked your eyes when you were in the uterus of the mother?

Therefore, one should not underestimate the level of the fetus and think that this is just self-nullification. Everything depends on this, on which levels I nullify myself and accordingly add a multitude of observations. The Light of Infinity comes to me, but within me all kinds of levels of stages of desire are awakened from zero to 4 degrees. And to the degree that I nullify my desire in order to remain a fetus, I enter into cooperation with the Upper Light of Infinity in each and every part.

Besides breathing, which belongs to the level of Bina and above, all the rest of the levels begin to work even before birth. A fetus is a very wise level, this is the foundation for the entire continued development of all the levels. Everything begins from the still level, meaning from the fetus.

Question: You have said that this will be a very special year in dissemination. How can we strengthen one another and the connections with the groups? How can we make people who have no experience in disseminating feel confident?

Answer: It seems that we are doing so many different things: studying, disseminating, and many other things, but most of these actions are in our intention and only dissemination actually requires practical actions. When we study, the main thing is our intention. In the workshops, the main thing is our intention. Everything is fulfilled through the intentions. Even the major part of dissemination, its inner part, is in creating the right intention.

The fulfillment itself will later seem very simple. We reach a certain group of people, explain to them what a certain type of connection is, and hold a workshop on this topic. It’s very much like the workshops we have between us, but not according to our tough rules, but just letting people express themselves and showing them some clips. After all, we teach them about the simple popular integral connection between people, integral education.

We don’t need to pressure and overload them with serious stuff. Most of the time people simply speak between them and we constantly hold on to the intention and perform inner clarifications. So we don’t need to feel pressured and to worry about the work of dissemination. We only need to get used to being in continuous clarifications and to keep building a structure inside us, brick by brick, the form of the upper world, of the spiritual world. Then we will feel how we stabilize ourselves, the group, the Creator, and the public day by day. A person should engage in this internal work 24 hours a day.

If I feel tired and I have some free time, I watch National Geographic, there are some very good programs there about animals. I see it and translate it to the language of Kabbalah, to my levels. It’s because all of reality is identical. It’s a replica of the upper worlds dressed on our world in which the same processes take place. Everything comes from Above and the difference is in the way it’s expressed. So I dress it on my expression. Sometimes it’s very interesting to see the parallels and to interpret these films.

Question: At the beginning of the week you said that if we manage to tighten the connection between the friends who are returning to their home towns and are able to overcome all the obstacles of this world, the end of correction would come the next Sabbath. If that is so, why did we hear in yesterday’s lesson that the end of correction will not come unless a couple of million people who support us and who are in contact with us come together?

Answer: It’s a very complicated question and it depends on many conditions. How can we keep the connection between all the groups if we are not surrounded by an external ring of several million? One doesn’t nullify the other, but we will not feel the need to be so strongly connected, as if we are one next to the other although we have already dispersed each to his own continent, if these millions don’t oblige us. So it depends on that.

Question: If that’s the case, then what is our mission for this week in order to summon and to draw the force of the end of correction that is called Messiah?

Answer: We have to prepare ourselves for external dissemination actions all over the world and to strengthen the groups and the friends who engage in integral education. We have to reduce the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah and totally switch to the dissemination of the integral education. I have no doubt that it’s much closer to the implementation of the end of correction and that it summons less objection. We have to establish detailed work plans of the general dissemination in all the continents, countries, cities, and groups.

We should perceive the next series of conventions in Europe, North and South America (Columbia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, the U.S., and Canada) not simply as conventions but as an internal convention that will give us a great spiritual push forward. We already need to prepare ourselves for that by using every opportunity given.

The fact that we have started talking about the formation of the spiritual embryo and the spiritual womb is a great success. It’s very meaningful progress. It isn’t so difficult and we simply need to organize ourselves because we already know where the hands and the legs of this spiritual embryo are and what we should hope for and what we should do. All the discernments are in our hands. It really fills me with great hope and joy.

The Torah, “Exodus” (Ki Tissa), 32:11, 32:12: Moses pleaded before the Lord, his God, and said: “Why, O Lord, should Your anger be kindled against Your people whom You have brought up from the land of Egypt with great power and with a strong hand?”

Why should the Egyptians say: He brought them out with evil [intent] to kill them in the mountains and to annihilate them from upon the face of the earth? Retreat from the heat of Your anger and reconsider the evil [intended] for your people.

Moses understands that all the desires that are called “sinful people,” which cannot be corrected, are sentenced to death. They are already in spiritual death and thus they will remain at this level.

Today, as a result of the crisis, we are beginning, to grasp a little bit that the stage of the “golden calf” is nearing its end. In pursuit after it, we gradually realize that this pursuit is killing us.

This is because our miserable humanity is constantly suffering and running after the source of its pain and suffering, and only occasionally feels a slight pause that gives it the strength to continue the pursuit. And there is still no relief. If in such a state a man is transformed to becoming immortal, then there is no more punishment. But we have an outlet in the state that is created and it is specifically to be thankful for the concrete connection with the attribute of “Moses,” meaning the attributes of bestowal and love.

The Torah, “Exodus” (Ki Tissa), 32:2: Aaron said to them, “Remove the golden earrings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters and bring them [those earrings] to me.”

This is saying that all of the internal characteristics and senses of a person that help his advancement: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching now receive egoistic tendencies and directions. But a person doesn’t understand and doesn’t feel that he is going in an opposite direction.

In that he feels an acute requirement for support, he relies upon what he has on hand, his reason. He doesn’t have anything more than it. There exist desires and their fulfillments. Fulfillment through knowledge and reason is the highest fulfillment after food, sex, family, wealth, and control.

Fulfillment through knowledge gives us a sensation of mastery over something very significant, a feeling of control. Whereas, in spiritual work we must go forward, acquiring a new, higher reasoning that replaces material knowledge with bestowal and love, meaning to advance contrary to reason.

Ascent above reason happens when I see that according to my reasoning, my egoistic understanding, I must specifically make this step, yet I make a completely different calculation, but not against reason, for I don’t go contrary to reason, but rather above reason. It is very important to feel what “above” means. Sometimes we say “contrary to reason,” but we don’t mean nullification of reason but ascent above it.

By nullifying reason and not taking it into account at all, I seemingly nullify it. Whereas here I am found with my former reasoning and to ascend to the next higher reasoning I must do this through a method of increasing faith, increasing bestowal and love, without any egoistic basis, contrary to my internal egoistic call. In this case, for us the basis for advancement becomes the general rule, “And you shall love your friend as yourself.”

The Torah, “Exodus” (Ki Tissa), 32:7-32:11: And the Lord said to Moses: “Go, descend, for your people that you have brought up from the land of Egypt have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned away from the path that I have commanded them; they have made themselves a molten calf! And they have prostrated themselves before it, slaughtered sacrifices to it, and said: ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who have brought you up from the land of Egypt.’”

And the Lord said to Moses: “I have seen this people and behold! They are a stiff-necked people. Now leave Me alone, and my anger will be kindled against them, so that I will annihilate them, and I will make you into a great nation.” Moses pleaded before the Lord, his God, and said: “Why, O Lord, should Your anger be kindled against Your people whom You have brought up from the land of Egypt with great power and with a strong hand?”

On one hand the people erred. But on the other hand, it was impossible to annihilate them because the full correction had to be revealed through this entire mass. And I will make of thee a great nation: in summation this says to do this from a small part of all of humanity.

The Creator seemingly dictated to Moses that here Moses carried out the role of a scribe. In the Hebrew language there is no word for “scribe” in the sense that it exists in other languages. A scribe (in Hebrew “sofer”) is someone who moves his hand. But the Creator is the one who writes. And that is how it is with everything for everything flows from the Creator. Therefore, Moses always transmits into writing what is told to him from his spiritual attainment.

About what did the Creator tell him? That it’s possible to create a nation from the characteristic of Bina which is represented by Moses. But this nation would not be enough because it would have to be the bearer of the characteristic of bestowal only, like an angel that has no free choice of its own, having no ego, suppressing everything. This part wouldn’t be suitable at all for any task that would follow.

Therefore, they demonstrate here analytically that this way would be a blind alley and in principle could not be implemented because it was not given to correct the world and reach the goal of creation with its help. This task can be carried out only through a combination of egoistic desires with altruistic desires, as a result of which a connection is created between them that is constantly renewed.

It’s impossible to correct some part of the soul, thereby completely isolating it and not letting it go out to the entire immense soul that has been corrupted by the ego. So when Moses doesn’t agree with the Creator, he shows again how strong his connection was with the people even though he had ascended so high. He seemingly suggested to the Creator: “Come, let’s do this, through me it will be possible to bring them back to correction.” That is how a part of the connection with others begins to be born in Moses.

When a person ascends to the next level and is found there, it’s as if he is completely disconnected from everyone, and through a shattering, he must pass through an inner passage that makes it possible to discover the connection with the rest of creation. After that his development begins. It’s specifically this thin trickle of connection that connects him with the others, and now he must develop it.

Opinion (Joseph E. Stiglitz, Nobel laureate in economics and professor at Columbia University): “Soon after the global financial crisis erupted in 2008, I warned that unless the right policies were adopted, Japanese-style malaise – slow growth and near-stagnant incomes for years to come – could set in. While leaders on both sides of the Atlantic claimed that they had learned the lessons of Japan, they promptly proceeded to repeat some of the same mistakes. …

“Policymakers’ response to the crisis failed to address these issues; worse, it exacerbated some of them and created new ones – and not just in the US. The result has been increased indebtedness in many countries, as the collapse of GDP undermined government revenues. Moreover, underinvestment in both the public and private sector has created a generation of young people who have spent years idle and increasingly alienated at a point in their lives when they should have been honing their skills and increasing their productivity.

“Instead, our current difficulties are the result of flawed policies. There are alternatives. But we will not find them in the self-satisfied complacency of the elites, whose incomes and stock portfolios are once again soaring. Only some people, it seems, must adjust to a permanently lower standard of living. Unfortunately, those people happen to be most people.”

My Comment: Our nature, egoism, is above our mind, and we are in its power. It forces us to act irrationally, even under the threat of our own death. As it is said: The angel of death brings a sword to a man and the sword has a drop of poison at the tip, and he is forced to open his mouth and swallow it, to fulfill his egoism, a sense of life, although this drop kills him. The elite cannot limit itself in exploiting society, even under the threat of unrest, wars, and self-destruction.

Question: Now that the convention is over I feel that I am starting to go back to my previous state and I don’t want that at all. What should I do so that everything that I do and think about will be for the Creator in order to delight Him?

Answer: The Creator has arranged our lives and nothing is up to us. It’s the same when it comes to politicians, economists, our relatives, and even us. The Creator intentionally arranges and organizes this life in the way we feel it so that from these specific conditions we will attain the revelation of His uniqueness, His wholeness.

So the fact that you already feel that you are drawing away from the convention and returning to your previous life while still here with us is not a good sign. You should do everything in your power to warm yourself so as not to lose the level that you attained and to hold on to it by your teeth.

I understand that it’s difficult and I even know that it’s impossible, but your slightest efforts to do so already help you ascend spiritually and it is net profit. Especially now when you are still here and your daily routine doesn’t pressure you, you should at least resist this in any possible way.

I did similar exercises when I was with Rabash, when Iraq bombed Israel during the Gulf War and missiles fell about 500-700 meters from where we were studying. It was very unpleasant, but a person has to constantly try to hold on to the connection with the Creator both in the good states and in the bad ones.

So try to constantly keep a small area in your mind in which you constantly keep in touch with the Creator no matter which state you are in, even if it’s a state where you feel nothing.
