Answer: We will see once we have risen to the end of correction. Right now, we do not even understand what the first spiritual degree is. This is how opposite the spiritual world is from the corporeal world. As it is written: “I saw a reverse world.”
We cannot even imagine what happens after all the spiritual degrees, at the end of correction. There, we will have completely different instruments of perception, not just something larger than now, for comparison purposes.
It is just like as today, we are unable to speak about an integral world, where I will think about everyone and perceive everyone only together. Right now, we do not know what this is. We cannot imagine that we will see the entire world as one single organism.
I will automatically perceive from within every thought, appeal, and desire as my own because “I” will be “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” It will be as if everyone were within me.
However, are they inside me now in reality? No, they are not. I feel a distance of 125 degrees of hatred between us. This is how great the hatred that we reveal is, as it is written: “He who is greater than his friend, his desire is greater than his.”
Why do Kelim Igulim (circular vessels) take up such enormous space? It is because of the amount of hatred. This entire space is the hatred that will be revealed, and I must fill it with love over this hatred.
Hatred inflates spheres and distances them outside (“extra”) from the central point. Now, I must compress them back inside (“intra”) with my love, but I do this over their distance. I want to bring my neighbor closer, and I do it. I feel like he is close to me, as if he were inside of me, but all of this happens “as if” over the entire distance that remains between us.
I only shorten this distance, correct it, but I do not eliminate it. The depth of the desire, Aviut (coarseness), is not destroyed, and for this reason, I get huge spheres, instead of one tiny point, grown out of this hatred that distances all of our points from one another.
From the 4th part of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 8/10/2011, Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah
To the degree to which one builds the environment, he opens its influence upon him. The more a person invests in the environment, the more it becomes valuable to him and therefore, he opens to its influence back on him. With its help, a person builds means for advancement towards the goal of creation against his or her desire and thereby completes his or her effort.
No one can advance on his own fuel; I cannot awaken if not for those who surround me and therefore, I need to influence them so that they awaken me. In the end, one is bound with others so much that he awakens them and they awaken him, each takes everyone’s reward and no one lacks anything. And this is the perfect completion of the effort.
This is why every person has to always ask himself: “How do I help fix the common interconnection? How do I convey my awakening to my friends? How do I participate in the search for the common program in the revelation of the Creator between us? How does He connect us?”
In the end, we will discover that we are in a single system, a single connection, a single function, and the upper force exists within us equally under all conditions. Then, we will reach the wholesome and perfect state of the world. Together, we will unite with this force specifically because it involves us equally and simultaneously.
The flaws that are revealed in our lives are the flaws of the program of the universe that must now manifest. We discover evil, pain, confusion, and disorder in the darkness that covers it. This allows us to do an exact diagnosis in the same way a doctor diagnoses an illness. The Creator bares the symptoms before us through disasters and problems.
So, let us have enough reason and feeling, enough preparation, and mainly, mutual support to recognize the essence of these events. When I feel pain, when I get angry at someone and do not wish to see them, when I justify myself, proving to myself that I am right and everyone else is wrong, then I need to understand that I am confused by the same desires and thoughts that are not yet corrected for connection with the common system.
I should not run from them. I need to work with them properly until I create a completely correct attitude toward others, beginning with close friends and relatives, and ending with the people I hate most, those who are distant and opposite to me.
As it is written: “Love covers all transgressions.” We scream about “love thy neighbor” not because we are kind-hearted. Real love is mutual inclusion between us, without any differences, with the purpose of joining the force that activates us, the program that must become revealed between us in an analog form outside of time and space, connecting all of us into one. We must use all available methods to explain this to the world. This is our work in between conventions.
I hope that we will be better united during the lessons. I really recommend reading my blog, regardless of the repetitions. There, I provide the opinions of many scientists and professionals, and this does its job: It enables us to connect to the world. We need this.
Today, we must feel the desires and the pain of the world, their impressions and feelings about the crisis, and use it always to look for ways to explain, influence, and slightly sweeten the pain of people, without calming them down, and instead, show them the correct way to view their problems. This work will require a lot of time, and we must do it.
From the 7th lesson at the Toronto Convention 9/18/11
All the laws of our existence, everything that happens in a thousand different situations occurs only for the purpose of attaining similarity to nature, a gradual process that leads a person to the goal by the chain of cause and effect. There is nothing more than this because from the very beginning, it all came from a higher decision that the desire to receive pleasure must attain the form of bestowal “from absence.”
So when you make yourself correspond to this law, it means that you’ll end up in the best possible state. And to the extent that you do not correspond to it, you’ll suffer, according to the level of your development. A person who is not very developed does not suffer very much. But when he develops without observing the law of correspondence of qualities according to his level, his suffering will increase. Nature punishes us according to this, as a judge who sees everything.
Nature is the same Creator, the same law of correspondence that stands before us. There is no other Creator, higher desire, or plan. All of this already existed in the actual point of creation where the decision was made, and since then it has just been carried out. It’s as if these two main opposite forces, bestowal and reception, have wound up a spring, and it has started unwinding, bringing them closer to one another.
Change happens because man himself changes and begins to see the world differently. After all, in reality, we live in the world of Infinity. But there is a law of nature that to the extent I correspond to this law of nature, to that extent I see everything as more perfect because I myself have become more perfect. All of nature is being revealed inside me and nowhere else. It’s not possible to step forward towards balance, connection, and similarity in qualities and feel bad inside. This does not happen!
But if I do not take this step forward while the mechanism keeps working, the spring will continue to unwind, and the meter will move one more point. That is, my delay will continue to increase, and I will naturally feel worse. There are no loopholes here; this is an absolute law. When you are closer to observing it, you’ll gain more, and further from it, you’ll lose more.
Why do I take good steps and feel worse? I will feel worse inside only from the thought that I do not give enough, that I have not reached a greater connection yet. This is referred to as the suffering of love. In this sense, we’ll really continue to suffer more: the more we advance, the greater perfection we’ll feel, and the more we’ll feel a lack of perfection. Like a scientist who searches for a lost micro particle and is unable to relax until he solves a discrepancy that he considers to be a world problem, while at the same time, another person lives in peace without any concern for its existence. Every person perceives according to his degree.
That’s why advancement will make us feel good changes in both the corporeal world and in every other aspect. We won’t need to feel the evil because nature will not need to push us through suffering. We’ll only feel: “Why haven’t I reached a greater connection yet,” the suffering from love, pulling us forward! This is the internal suffering that comes at the same time as the sensation of one’s good advancement—the Light.
From the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 9/2/2011, Rabash’s article
Here are some pictures from the world Kabbalah Convention in Toronto, September 16-18, 2011.
In the News (from guardian.co.uk): “Italy’s largest trade union confederation on Tuesday called a one-day general strike for Sept. 6 in protest against a government austerity plan it described as ‘unfair and wrong.’
“The strike call, though widely expected, is another blow for Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, whose popularity has plunged in recent months and who was forced by the European Central Bank to adopt the 45 billion euro austerity package.
“The left-wing union criticised the package over cuts to local and central government, plans to liberalise labour contracts and a lack of measures to tackle tax evasion.”
My Comment: Perhaps such pressures will force the government to look for a solution instead of a lame excuse and to consider our opinion: to see in what is happening a tendency toward mutual guarantee, which should be taught to the nation. Only such connection between us will re-build social and economic relationships, and we will not only come out of the crisis, but will rise to the form of a perfect society.
Opinion: (Maxim Lopada, Financial Group BCS Express, from bcs-express.ru): “While politicians and economists discuss [financial] problems, the situation is quickly worsening. Banks lost trust in the ability of politicians and financial regulators to fix the situation.
“Bleak forecasts are becoming more real. Now the emphasis has shifted from the U.S. to Europe. Increasing often, the region is called “the trigger” of a new wave of problems in the world. Many talk about the disintegration of the European Union and controlled dismantlement of the European currency.”
1. Angela Dorothea Merkel, the current Chancellor of Germany: “‘The euro is in danger. If we do not avert this danger, then the consequences are incalculable and the consequences for the whole of Europe are also incalculable.'”
2. Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council: “The euro has never had the infrastructure that it requires.”
3. Josef Ackermann, Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) Chief Executive Officer: “‘All this reminds one of the fall of 2008….'”
4. Angela Dorothea Merkel, the current Chancellor of Germany: “… [ she is] warning of ‘incalculable consequences’ for the European Union if the euro were to fail.”
5. Christine Lagarde, the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF): “‘Developments this summer have indicated we are in a dangerous new phase. The stakes are clear. We risk seeing the fragile recovery derailed. So we must act now.'”
6. Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council: “‘We’re in a survival crisis.’…’We all have to work together in order to survive with the eurozone, because if we don’t survive with the euro zone we will not survive with the European Union.'”
7. Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank:”‘[We] have a very bumpy road ahead of us.'”
8. George Soros, Billionaire investor: “‘Let’s face it: we are on the verge of an economic collapse which starts, let’s say, in Greece but could easily spread. The financial system remains extremely vulnerable.'”
9. Gerhard Schröder, Ex-Chancellor of Germany: “‘And the crisis we are currently experiencing makes it abundantly clear that you can’t have a common currency without a common fiscal, economic and social policy.'”
10. Nouriel Roubini, co-founder and chairman of Roubini Global Economics LLC: “‘In the short term, we need to do massive stimulus, otherwise there’s going to be another Great Depression. Things are getting worse and the big difference between now and a few years ago is that this time around we’re running out of policy bullets.'”
In the News (From huffingtonpost.com): “The pursuit of austerity measures and deficit cuts is pushing the world economy toward disaster in a misguided attempt to please global financial markets, the annual report of the United Nations economic think tank UNCTAD said on Tuesday.
“‘The message here is very pragmatic: we need to reverse our course quickly,’ said UNCTAD Secretary General Supachai Panitchpakdi.
“The current policies were a disaster, said Flassbeck, head of the globalization and development strategies division at the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development, and a former deputy finance minister in Germany.
“‘If interests rates everywhere are zero, and if governments stick to the policy of not only keeping fiscal deficits where they are but retrenching, cutting public expenditure, then we will end up in permanent recession,’ he said.
“‘Unemployment depends very much on demand. And if you have no demand then you need government to step in with a huge program for stimulating the economy….’
“‘Let’s not fool ourselves. This is a realistic scenario for the whole developed world, if we do not understand the lessons now, and really quickly, because we do not have other instruments any more,’ Flassbeck told a news conference to launch this year’s report.”
My Comment: But nobody knows what we should learn from it, what conclusions we should draw, and what exactly we should do. Yet, they nevertheless do not want to listen….
Indeed, according to sound reason and the theory of egoistic capitalistic development of the past, one should save and think only of oneself. But on what theoretical basis should anyone listen to: Don’t save, think of all others? We are approaching 2012, and judging from the letters I receive, many are panicking, fearing that the horrible predictions will come true.
But in reality, we only need to change our outlook to what is happening, to see that it is not a crisis, not cause for despair, but a thoughtful plan of nature to develop man. We need to accept what is happening now like a classroom exercise we must do to change ourselves in order to pass the high school examinations and enter adult life—new, harmonious, and good.
The most significant development in any generation is achieved by individuals since when the majority of people realize the necessity to rid themselves of affliction and start growing consciously and voluntarily, meaning pursuing the path of the Torah, then they have to surrender their corporeal freedoms and follow the commands and recommendations dictated by individuals.
– Baal HaSulam, “The Freedom”
The most successful way for one who wishes to learn the wisdom is to search for a genuine Kabbalist and follow all his instructions, until one is rewarded with understanding the wisdom in one’s own mind.
