In essence, mutual inclusion (hitkalelut in Hebrew – interpenetration) is the most important action, and there is nothing that can compare with it in importance. This stems from the plan of creation.

The Creator, the upper light, creates a desire to receive pleasure, which is aimed only at filling itself with everything that carries the light. It is literally enslaved by light and feels it as pleasure, as life.

In this form, this desire cannot even be called a creation because it lacks any independence; it is entirely dependent on light. Therefore, as a creation it does not yet exist, like a shadow that cannot exist independently from a person or any object that casts it.

But the Creator wants this creation to become independent like Himself. For this the creation needs to undergo a very long path that is much longer than the one that a drop of semen undergoes in transforming into a living organism.

After all, the creation was created as a shadow of light, as its imprint, as its opposite. But gradually, under the influence of light, it begins to develop.

And all its further development through the process of the expansion of the four phases of direct light, the emergence of the worlds AK (Adam Kadmon), Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya, of this world, the descent of souls into our world and their ascent back occurs due to the interconnection of desire and light.

At the same time, the creation absorbs all the qualities of the Creator and becomes like Him. And moreover, since at the same time it acquires a more complex internal structure, it gains the ability to comprehend all the details of creation in all its depth.

In this way creation reveals what the Creator has done in it. By understanding itself as a derivative of the upper light, creation comes to know the Creator. It is called, “From Your actions I know You.”

And all of this is made possible by what is called mutual inclusion.

How do I study the actions of the Creator? I imitate them like an infant. I observe what the Creator does.

The upper descends to the lower, He gives me an example, shows me what I should do. Then, I repeat this example.

Indeed, I do this with His help, relying on His strength, but I strive to carry out the examples He shows me. This is exactly how we teach infants. By doing so, I acquire His reason.

The Creator shows me what needs to be done, how, and in what sequence. Absolutely everything I receive comes from above because I myself know nothing. I simply copy these actions and repeat them mechanically because I do not yet have a reason.

This approach is called “Through Your actions, I know You.” I repeat all these actions, and as a result, I gain reason.

There were times when Kabbalists entered the spiritual world alone on their own. But that time has long passed. Starting with Abraham onward we see that a group has emerged.

All Kabbalistic laws and conditions for the development of the soul are built on “loving thy neighbor as thyself,” that is, on correcting egoism to the point of uniting with others into one common spiritual whole, one network.

The spiritual system called Adam (which means “similar to the Creator”) was broken on purpose. From its pieces we now must assemble, like a mosaic, the same system, only by ourselves, with our desires, our searches, to get closer to each other in order to unite. For this, we need the power of the Creator. This is our method.

Do you want to collect your soul? Then you need a force against your egoistic nature, which will glue you to others. Therefore, you must attract it. Thus, by collecting your soul, you are obliged to attract the Creator, and therefore you inevitably need Him.

It turns out that by collecting the fragments of the mosaic into a single whole, you come closer to the others, and then glue them together with the force of the Creator. The Creator is like glue, the force of correction. He fills the connecting parts together, because the circulation of His power becomes possible in them, the power of love, the power of light. This is how the manifestation of the Creator occurs. He acts as the power of correction and the power of fulfillment.

Answer: Yes, it depends on the growth of egoism in a person. Because then he begins to understand this is a wrong path that is to his detriment. And he wonders: what should he do? From this moment on, suffering begins, and his demand to the Creator begins.

Question: So while he was walking along the egoistic path without thinking about it, was everything all right for him?

Answer: Yes.

Question: But at some point, he is pushed to the idea that he is an egoist, which is bad. And the suffering begins. What for? What should he do with this ego?

Answer: He should realize all this comes from his ego and consciously turn to the Creator for correction.

Question: So one way or another, everything is a path of correction. Absolutely everything.

Then the question is: “How can you prepare, is it even possible for such falls and to make the most of them?”

Answer: You can prepare for falls if a person initially understands what he chooses may be wrong and there is no escape from mistakes. He will receive all sorts of negative feedback from time to time, consequences of his actions. But on the other hand, it will teach him the right path in the end.

Question: What is the maximum benefit from this?

Answer: That he will take the right path. Although he will make mistakes every time, correct himself, and take the right step.

Answer: How can he do it in advance?

Answer: No, in absolute value, this is not an opposite, but complete equality.

His name is bestowal. I value Him because I receive from Him and I relate to Him in the same way. That is, we both bestow to each other. The Creator gives a person the light of fulfillment, the light of joy, the light of knowledge. And a person gives the Creator for the opportunity to help him, fill him, and bring him closer to the Creator.

Question: If we pronounce the names of the Creator, does this mean we lack precisely these properties?

Answer: No, you just try to call Him by different names in which you feel His manifestation.

Question: Are the negative names we use to refer to the Creator that originate from egoism still considered His names?

Answer: Negative names have nothing to do with the Creator. They proceed only because a person does not find the correct image of the Creator and, therefore names the Creator with words opposite to His properties.

We do not know what the Creator is because we ourselves cannot define Him. We can only define something relative to our feelings.

Therefore we call Him the Creator because we begin to become aware and define Him only from the state when He gives birth to us and defines Himself as our Creator, only from this moment but not before.

We differentiate these states into one that is not given to us in sensations, Atzmuto, which means existing by Himself, and the state when we begin to feel Him, that is, we give Him some of our own definitions, designations, and descriptions. And these descriptions, i.e., what enters into my properties that I can work with, I can remember and pass on to others.

From what we know and can determine, we can say that the Creator has created one soul in His likeness, meaning equal to Him but opposite of Him. Therefore, we can talk about it as “creation.”

Creation is that which is not in the Creator. In itself, this is an incomprehensible action, but it is precisely what is called creation. And the one who performs this action is called the Creator.
