Question: Is the Creator a brilliant mosaic of the souls that attained Him?

Answer: Yes!

Question: How can you explain changes in character? How do you explain that the desire for generally accepted pleasures disappears?

Answer: A person changes. It happens not necessarily due to the influence of Kabbalah, but it may be influenced by any other environment. A person is a product of his environment.  He is formed at the place he grows. If we leave a child in the forest, he will grow up to be a wild animal.

Question: When do we become Kabbalists? Does it happen during the studying?

Answer: As soon as we begin to think that the most important thing in our lives is spiritual development and revelation of the Creator, we already can be called Kabbalists.

Question: Somebody said that permanent happiness doesn’t exist, as soon as you understand that you are happy, it begins to evaporate.

Answer: Of course. No correct state stays in the person for more than a second so it can be replaced by another one. And it is within our abilities to make it even greater.

Question: How have Kabbalists achieved infinite happiness?

Answer: It changes gradually and constantly. Kabbalists work on it all the time. And it is constantly interweaved with periods of darkness, left line and right line.

This is a system that we need to study and learn to implement. There can’t be happiness without unhappiness. However, unhappiness is not like in our world. It is the realization that I can’t bring contentment to the Creator, and happiness is when I can bestow upon Him.

It turns out that unhappiness on the path I also perceive as a necessary step on the way to happiness because there can’t be one without the other. And therefore, the darkness and the light shine equally: when night disappears there is one full day of light.

Question: If I feel a rush of tears, beautiful and sublime emotions, what does it mean?

Answer: It means that the Creator wants to move you and wishes you to get closer to Him.

Question: Happiness is the adhesion with the Creator. What does adhesion mean?“

Answer: Adhesion means the complete disappearance of the sense of self as an individual.

Question: What is a teacher in the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: A “teacher” in the wisdom of Kabbalah is a level of development that is higher than you, a way of bringing you fulfillment as knowledge, feelings, and characteristics. All that is in you comes to you through the higher level called a “teacher.” This connection between teacher and student in the wisdom of Kabbalah cannot change. If you reject the teacher, this means that you are depriving yourself of an opportunity for spiritual ascent.

Question: In what manner does the Creator, the higher system of management, provide signs or illuminations for us to know that we are on the right path toward happiness?

Answer: Only if we are found in a group that is involved with learning the wisdom of Kabbalah can we know precisely if we are going on the right way, according to our relationships with the group.

Question: From the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, could Mother Teresa have been altruistic, bestowing goodness, and love?

Answer: According to what Baal HaSulam writes, around 10% of people are altruistic from birth.

Question: Happiness is found in the connection between friends in a study group. What about acquaintances who don’t study the wisdom of Kabbalah, family, colleagues at work, childhood friends and others?

Answer: You will learn how to include them within you.

Question: How is it possible to know what my present level is on the ladder of spiritual development?

Answer: These measures don’t exist for you at present, so you cannot know in any way. Only after you begin to truly ascend spiritually will precise measures appear in you. It is like a little child in our world who begins to learn and graduates from first grade to second grade and so forth.

Question: Am I to understand that both the feeling of happiness and the feeling of misery come to me from the Creator?

Answer: Right, but it is up to us to do something besides understanding that everything comes from the Creator. It is up to us to build the right mutual connection between us so that we will build a real connection with Him.

Question: In adhesion with the Creator, does a person become swallowed up by Him?

Answer: Nobody swallows anyone. Adhesion with the Creator indicates that we are connected with Him and we become two completely equal partners, composing a single whole.

Why Do Tragedies Occur More Often Today?

laitman_547_06Question: Why do tragedies that bring to the loss of human life occur more often in our world today?

Answer: A tragedy is actually a correction too. A person corrects a certain type of egoism that he has and disappears to the degree that this egoism was given to him. After he corrects his ego to a certain degree and has completed his role in a given lifetime, in his earthly mission, he passes away as a result of natural death or accidental death.

Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 7/10/16, Part 1

laitman_283_01Question: The same primitive savage always exists within us that overpowers us when our emotions operate. Will this part always remain in a person?

Answer: No, not always. If you continue to engage in the wisdom of Kabbalah, you will feel that there are two opposing forces in you and that you are between them with freedom of choice in what is called the middle line.

Question: Is the conflict between cultures and civilizations determined from above by the Creator, or is this the result of egoistic human desires?

Answer: It is the same thing. The conflict is created through egoism which the Creator manages. Nothing happens on its own in nature. We are within a system called nature that manages everything.

Question: Is it possible to say that a flock of birds feel the Creator when they act collectively?

Answer: No, the birds don’t feel the Creator. They feel the general managing force instinctively and obey it. That is how a large flock of birds turns simultaneously to this side or the other, none of them hindering another. A similar thing is also possible to see with fish. We cannot imagine that people will instinctively begin to cooperate mutually like this.

Question: Can we reduce the 230 years that we have left until the completion of correction (Gmar Tikkun) and by how much?

Answer: Yes, we can. There are no limits to this. If all of us were now to gather into one single whole with a single intention, then, with this, we would finish our present earthly existence and would feel that we are together in the state of the collective soul in an eternal and perfect world.

Question: The present generation has forgotten what Fascism and Nazism are. Two generations ago, people gave up their lives because of them. So, why do you say that suffering passes from generation to generation? What do people remember?

Answer: The generation in which terrible events occurred, such as the Second World War, had no freedom of choice. You have freedom of choice, so you can understand, recognize, and reach a feeling of good and evil. In contrast to this, for that generation, there was no choice. They just felt the immense evil of the tremendous and terrible blows they experienced. But specifically following this terrible suffering, we were brought to freedom of choice. So, today, we can make our free choice more consciously and accurately.
