Together in Spiritual Space

944Question: What does coming together in spiritual space mean and how do we do it?

Answer: Coming together in spiritual space means gathering our spiritual desires so that they give us a common desire, new in quality and strength, to accomplish something spiritual in the unification of the common Kli, in transmitting of the common light, so that we feel that we want it, that we desire it passionately. Then, the unification between us and the Creator occurs, Zivug deHakaa (coupling by striking).

Which Prayer Is Stronger?

506.5

There is not a single prayer since the world was created through the end of the world, that is similar to another whatsoever (The Ari).

Question: People have been coming together around prayer. Today, “prayer” is the most searched word on Google and everywhere else. Can you explain why every prayer is unique even if they sound similar, with the same words and prayer books?

Answer: It stems from the person’s desire, their aspiration, their urgent need.

Question: Even if they read it from a prayer book?

Answer: Even if they read from a prayer book. They do not see the words.

Question: So it comes from somewhere else?

Answer: It comes from the heart.

Question: So every time we read the same word, we read it in a completely different way?

Answer: Yes, differently.

Question: If I realize that every prayer is unique, what changes in me?

Answer: You read it differently each time. Every day a person is different. And so even when repeating the same words and the same paragraphs, they do not experience the same thing. Each time it moves forward in a spiral.

Question: If I realize: “Yes, every prayer is unique,” do I change then?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So I put a different power into the prayer?

Answer: In any case, you change.

Question: Does the answer from the Creator come only to me or not?

Answer: The answer from the Creator comes only to you. But in order to feel, understand, and accept it, you need to learn how to do that.

Comment: You often say that this answer should not be shared with others, and you should not say: “I received such and such an answer,” and so on.

Answer: Yes.

Question: Why, can you explain?

Answer: Because a person has their own personal, cherished desire; they want to realize it, and other people can interfere with that, even their closest ones.

Question: So if I say it, could there be an evil eye on me?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is there such a concept as the evil eye?

Answer: There is envy. That is the evil eye.

Question: Your advice?

Answer: My advice is to keep your aspirations to yourself and direct them only to the Creator.

Question: There is a written prayer and there is my prayer, spoken from the heart. Which is stronger, which is better?

Answer: In the end, the written prayer that you read and live through is still better.

Questions about Spiritual Work—174

281.02Question: What gives the feeling of being before the Giver?

Answer: From the fact that you bestow to Him and He bestows to you.

Question: What is the difference between spiritual and corporeal shame?

Answer: Spiritual shame is not based on egoism, while corporeal shame is based precisely on it.

Question: Does shame help me not to ask for myself?

Answer: Yes, correction for myself is the very last thing. Look what is written in the prayer book (Siddur): “for the righteous, for others, and then for us.” Requests for ourselves are made last.

Question: How does praying for a friend reveal the importance of the Creator?

Answer: Very simply, because it is all part of one system.

Question: Should spiritual shame before the Giver be present at every degree, or is it a one-time, complete restriction when a sufficient measure of correction is reached?

Answer: There is no sufficient measure of correction. It increases more and more.

Question: What is the difference between shame and fear before the Creator?

Answer: It is a very small difference. You could say they are practically the same.

Prayer for the Friend

237The one who prays for a friend receives an answer first (Rabash, Assorted Notes, 454, “He Who Prays for His Friend“).

Praying for a friend from the depths of the heart comes when you feel him with all your heart, sense his problem, and turn to the Creator. And although the prayer comes from your heart, it is as if it rises from the heart of a friend.

But if you have not connected with his Kelim, with his desires and feelings as if they were in you, you cannot pray for him. This is natural.

Question: What is the punishment for not asking for a friend?

Answer: Even if there is no punishment, the fact that you do not ask for him is already a punishment.

Question: What is the connection between shame and prayer for a friend?

Answer: Prayer can be without shame and the opposite can happen. But for us, the most important thing is if a shortcoming in someone in something is revealed to us, and we can help him. This should be our very first task.

What Does the Creator Expect?

233Question: When the Creator sends illumination from the next degree, what kind of reaction is He expecting?

Answer: He expects His student to immediately rise to this degree and begin working on it in order to quickly establish a complete connection with the Creator.

Question: Through what means does this ascent happen? If there is a desire to analyze everything in the mind and try to understand what the Creator wants to reveal, is this the right approach?

Answer: Yes, this is also correct. But the most important thing is to see what your friends desire and try to help them with that.

How Can We Shorten the Path to the Creator?

962.8Question: How long is the path from the realization of true evil to a genuine prayer? How can this path be shortened?

Answer: It is only by uniting between you in the group and studying the articles of Baal HaSulam and Rabash. The more you study, the more you understand that it is only through the study of the Torah that you can see how deeply egoism is rooted in you and how you must extract and correct it.

Question: How can we increase our spiritual vessel (Kli) in the group?

Answer: It is by drawing closer to each other. Only through this.

Turn to the Creator more often, ask Him for correction, but do so precisely when you notice that you are in need of correction and don’t just cry out for the sake of it.

The Connection Called the Temple

936The Temple is the revelation of the Creator that occurs within the prepared desires of a person that  they receive from the Creator.

These desires are capable of accommodating the Creator, and the person feels that the Creator fills them.

Question: How does a person in a state of lowliness and dust even suspect the existence of the Creator and know that they need to pray and build a Temple?

Answer: It is from the things he has already gone through. The Creator does not break off the connection with them. He simply shows the person where they are and at the same time gives them the opportunity to draw closer to Him from below upward.

Question: How can we help each other build the Temple in the ten?

Answer: Connect with each other and turn to the Creator so that He creates a connection between you that will be called the Temple and  fills it with His presence.

Force the Creator to Reveal Himself

938.03Question: We are trying to correct ourselves and want to ascend the spiritual degrees. What does the growth of the degrees depend on and how can we accelerate it?

Answer: It depends only on you.

The more you pray, ask, and strive for connection with your friends and through it for connection with the Creator, the faster you will reach such great desires that the Creator will be forced to reveal to you everything that He has for you.

Maximum Unity

945We have to know that all the souls extend from the soul of Adam HaRishon, for after he sinned in the sin of the Tree of Knowledge, his soul divided into 600,000 souls (Rabash, “What Is the Degree One Should Achieve in Order Not to Have to Reincarnate?”)

The single upper illumination was divided into 600,000 souls. These particles are in all people, in each person.

Question: We increase our small particles with the desire to unite, and each ten creates its own luminous block. We must ignite these sparks in the rest of the world by taking care of dissemination. Kabbalists already see this final part, is this why they have the strength to work without interruption until the end?

Answer: Generally speaking they do not have much strength. As the spiritual world is revealed to a person, he has less and less strength. He needs to make more efforts to unite the spiritual forces within himself and rise to the Creator.

Question: This is very noticeable before a convention. Egoism presses, we don’t want to care about our friends, we want to think less and to unite less. How can each of us imagine the final picture in which we are all united? What should we strive for?

Answer: Toward maximum connection with friends.

Question: Is it possible to awaken sparks of the Creator’s light in each person with our common prayer?

Answer: It is possible. With a common, united prayer, we can achieve complete correction, ascend to the world of infinity, and anything we wish.

Draw Closer to Inner Desires

231.02Question: You said that one should pray to the Creator to point out mistakes and provide explanations. How can I receive these explanations and not confuse them with my own egoism?

Answer: You need to accept them as they come. This is how the Creator wants you to understand and realize your state. Then you should try to change them by drawing closer to your inner thoughts, desires, and forces, and thus gradually ascend the degrees of attainment.

Question: There are times when I pray a lot, but do not receive an answer. What is the Creator trying to tell me by this?

Answer: He is telling you that you have not yet added your most essential desires to your efforts.
