Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 8/7/16

laitman_281_02Question: Why do you sometimes mock your students? It seems that your humor unifies us and sharpens our attention.

Answer: That’s the reason I do it.

Question: What does your attitude to your students depend on? Why do some students get special attention?

Answer: There is no such thing! There really isn’t. There are students who draw attention by wanting to ask questions every day and sometimes several times during the lesson. I limit them because I want questions from as wide a range as possible.

Question: How can we understand that the teacher is actually the one you need? After all, there are different teachers and each of them conveys the material differently.

Answer: Search!

Question: As a student, I follow the teacher and I sometimes am short of time. Can the group or the teacher plan the day correctly or should I ask the Creator?

Answer: In this sense it is much simpler for a woman. You can record or download the lesson and listen to it everywhere, and at the same time advance.

Question: Are boredom and invasiveness characteristics that depend on the perception of the listener?

Answer: If boredom and invasiveness do not take on sick forms, we can call them persistence and perseverance, and so these are perfectly normal attributes.

Question: Who was Adam HaRishon’s (First Man) teacher? Who guided him?

Answer: No one, he was the first to whom the upper leadership was revealed. There were other Kabbalists who came after him who also discovered the upper world without a teacher. But they had a special inclination. They made great efforts and received their attainment through books, not through a certain person.

My Thoughts On Twitter, 2/4/17

twitter

Individual consciousness perceives this world. Collective consciousness perceives the upper world. Kabbalah creates the latter within us.

The more Jews meddle with everything, the more people hate them. Jews: mind your own business—show the world how to unite. #Anti-semitism

Society is part of nature. Nature maintains all its elements as a single system. Thus, we too must learn to complement each other.

I’m happy about Trump because he marks the liberation from lies, brainwashing, and the rule of irresponsible government and media.

True wisdom of the crowd is not the collective knowledge of a group. It’s the higher wisdom that fills them as they unite above their ego.

Kabbalah: World leaders are in the Creator’s hands. We must understand the change the world is going through to change ourselves accordingly

Time To Bring Kabbalah To The Masses

laitman_254_03Question: The wisdom of Kabbalah has always been a science, an esoteric doctrine. You always say in your lectures that the time has come to bring the wisdom of Kabbalah to the masses. Specifically why is this so now?

Answer: For 1,500 years, the wisdom of Kabbalah was the lot of all the people of Israel, beginning from the period when Abraham began to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah and popularized it in Babylon.

As Maimonides (Rambam) writes, he organized a large group of tens of thousands of people there and led them to the land of Israel. For 1,500 years, the people of Israel lived according to Kabbalistic laws and customs. Then they fell from this level because the wisdom of Kabbalah places difficult demands on people.

We try to climb up the spiritual ladder, but we ascend and descend, ascend and descend, on the way. Descent from the level of spiritual attainment is expressed by “going into exile” from the attainment of the spiritual world.

The wisdom of Kabbalah is not a religion but a system of knowledge about the inner structure of the world that manages our world.

For 2,000 years after the descent from the level of spiritual attainment they had been in, the people of Israel were completely disconnected from spirituality. Physical exile is the result of internal, spiritual exile.

In the 15th century, a giant Kabbalist appeared, the Ari, whom everyone recognized as a special force that was sent to our level. His student Chaim Vital wrote that beginning from this time, it had become possible to study the wisdom of Kabbalah and that everyone was obligated to study it because thanks to it, humanity would begin to ascend from the period of the Middle Ages and develop correctly.

The Baal Shem Tov was trying to do this when he began to be involved with the popularization of the wisdom of Kabbalah among the wider masses. There were very many opponents to this, which is what led to the separation between the Hasidic religious Jews who were going in his way and those who opposed him. Such a division has been felt to this very day.

The giant Kabbalist Rav Yehudah Ashlag, Baal HaSulam, appeared in the beginning of the 20th century. He wrote a commentary on The Book of Zohar and wrote a very serious work The Study of the Ten Sefirot, which consists of six volumes. In this way, a new push was given to the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah. All of the followers of the Ari, and there have been thousands, wrote that the time had come when it was necessary to publicize, disseminate, and teach the wisdom of Kabbalah to the masses.

Can Letters Program Our Fate?

laitman_526Question: Can letters or combinations of letters program our destiny and life and carry strength?

Answer: The letters themselves cannot do anything. Writing letters on paper has no effect on anything. Any so-called “holy letters” that people kiss, put under their pillows or on their foreheads, or meditate with have only a psychological effect of a person supporting himself with his own intention.

This helps him to a certain degree, but has no meaning other than that.

You Should Be Envious!

laitman_552_02In the News (Huffington Post): “Your friend gets a dream car while you’re still driving a piece of junk. Or your nemesis is marrying Mr. Right while your love life is anything but a fairytale. Whatever the scenario, we’re all bound to feel jealous at some point or another. And it’s not a fun feeling.

“But a new study says we can look forward to seeing green less often with each coming birthday. Indeed, researchers from the University of California, San Diego say envy is more common among younger people. …

“Overall, the majority of people reported feeling envious in the last year — but jealous feelings fell after age 50. Around 80 percent of under-30s recalled feeling envy in the past year but that dropped down to under 70 percent for people over 50.  …

“Across the board, people seemed to be jealous of those similar to them — of the same gender and around the same age. But there were differences between young and old. Younger people were more likely to envy another for their looks, educational accomplishments and romantic success. Older people were more likely to be envious of things like wealth and career success. For example, around 40 percent of younger people reported being jealous of someone because of their romantic conquests, but that number dropped down to around 15 percent for people over 50.

“Researchers say the findings show that envy reflects the things we value. For older people, that seems to be wealth and being established.”

My Comment: First, this is incorrect. Scientists have understood correctly that one can envy someone who is more or less equal to you because he shows you what could be yours, but isn’t.

If I live in a certain place, I think of others who live in the same place and if my neighbor buys a new car, I will envy him. But if I look at the son of a king, I realize he is the son of the king.

This means that everything is assessed in my feelings as profit or loss. But if it is on a higher or lower level than my own, I don’t focus on it. Everyone feels envy. It is the major basic attribute of the ego.

Comment: Scientists emphasize that envy is a nasty trait.

My Response: It isn’t nasty. You might say that about all of our nature: the desire to enjoy is disgusting and terrible. And it is expressed in everything, no matter what and how.

You can educate every person to envy both kings and common people. After all, we see how nations rebel even against their kings. This means that you can go up or down this “elevator” as you wish.

Question: Is envy an important attribute?

Answer: It is an essential attribute! You cannot advance without it. A person even envies himself: he compares the way he was yesterday to the way he is today. Yesterday, for example he was healthy and today he feels a bit worse.

Envy is a feeling of one state compared to another and if I cannot compare, I feel very bad because I cannot build any protective systems or systems that will help me advance and develop.

Comment: According to Kabblists, envy helps a person enter the spiritual world.

My Response: Of course, if we don’t envy Kabbalists who describe what heights they have reached, how will we be able to attain them?

This is white envy, because they want to share their experience with us. There cannot be black envy here. I know it from my own experience; when I was by the side of a great Kabbalist, I did not feel black envy toward him because he had something I didn’t.

After all, he revealed and gave me everything that he could to push me to the level he had reached and even higher.

This is the reason that there must be envy, but it is Light, because the Kabbalists are calling us, drawing us, helping us, and holding us like babies. Every teacher wants his student to attain his level. The student must envy the teacher and know that he can attain much more.

So you should be envious!

How Can We Check The Teacher?

laitman_533_02Question: How can we check whether the one who teaches Kabbalah actually knows what he is talking about and that he is indeed a spiritual guide?

Answer: A true teacher of the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches only according to the Kabbalistic sources of Baal HaSulam and Rabash and he only shows how to implement their recommendations in a group. He will not try to stand out and will not require any special treatment.

It says that a person learns only where his heart desires. It isn’t about intuition, but a feeling in the heart. Intuition is in internal call that we don’t understand, whereas a feeling in the heart is when you clearly feel that the teacher speaks directly into your heart. He doesn’t try to convince you, attract you, or lure you; you feel that he addresses you without trying to influence you.

It is not prohibited to check out teachers in other places. You only need to be very careful not to fall into mysticism or other spiritual practical spiritual studies.

We can say that there are two ways to check things, or two external signs of a true Kabbalah teacher. The first is that the teacher teaches according to Kabbalistic sources and the second is that he himself received his knowledge from a recognized Kabbalist.

How Can I Give Up My Familiar World View?

laitman_628_4Question: The wisdom of Kabbalah was concealed for ages and endless methods of different philosophies have dominated humanity. The wisdom of Kabbalah is a certain worldview. How can I give up my familiar worldview in favor of the Kabbalistic one?

Answer: It’s very simple, all the other methods give us nothing. People will gradually find out that the other methods aren’t good.

Of course, will help them with our explanations, but they have to find out themselves. The wisdom of Kabbalah doesn’t compel or force anyone. But undoubtedly, a person must still actively find out exactly how he can change his life.

Nature is already an interconnected system at the still, vegetative, and animate levels. Humans have to become consciously interconnected.

In the US, the revolution is bloodless. The EU should consider a general “Exit” to avoid war. Otherwise, even extreme far-right will ensue.

As society begins its correction, the method of correction—Kabbalah—is revealed, shedding light on all aspects of society.

Revealing the world does not mean overcoming cosmic distances or digging into matter but delving deeper into our consciousness .

Humanity has evolved to realize that it is trapped by the ego and then to come out of it is either by suffering or by the light. The choice is ours.

We live in selfish, egoistic interests that limit our perception. By breaking free from them, we discover the eternal, upper world.

Surpassing The Teacher

laitman_597_02Question: Can a student surpass the level of his teacher?

Answer: He can. There are many such cases in history. One such example is Baal HaSulam who surpassed his teacher from Pursov, a small town near Warsaw. When Baal HaSulam realized that there was nothing more he could receive from his teacher and that his teacher was in attainment of the Creator, he left and went to Israel.

I wish everyone to surpass their teacher and to keep advancing and that you will have students who will surpass you.

There Is No Other Method!

laitman_282_02Question: Can we say that today’s generation cannot attain spirituality without Rabash’s method?

Answer: That’s true, there is no other method today. Religion and any other method of spiritual studies no longer work and are confined to various rituals.

Comment: But there are those who may disagree with you and say that there are other methods like the method of Ramchal, the Baal Shem Tov, and others.

Answer: People can say that, but unfortunately there are no methods today for attaining spirituality. In the past Kabbalists created them through their internality and adapted them for themselves.

Baal Shem Tov taught Kabbalists, but did not actually leave anything behind. He had many students who wrote down his recommendations and developed them in different directions, and thus many streams of Hasidic Judaism emerged.

But the study method of the Baal Shem Tov is not an accurate Kabbalistic method and cannot be used today. I declare this taking full responsibility. This method is very close to Baal HaSulam because he was also among Hasidim in his days, but today it is not acceptable.

Baal Shem Tov and Ramchal were great Kabbalists, but they did not leave an accurate written method behind like Baal HaSulam and Rabash did; they collected, summed up, and prepared everything for our times and our generation.

Therefore, it is a pity to waste our time and our life in search for something else. There is no other method for us today.
