Question: How does connection between souls feel?

Answer: The connection between souls is felt in the unification of all aspirations upward, toward a goal that can only be achieved through our connection, not individually.

Alone, I will always remain with only the single point in the heart that is given to me at the beginning of the journey. It is like a drop of semen; it remains as the foundation of a person, and everything else is just “flesh” that must be added to it. But within this drop lies all the information about a person.

This point in the heart exists above my ego, which I have despaired of fulfilling in this world. It pulls me upward, yet it will always remain just a point.

It cannot grow; instead I connect it with the other such points in the hearts of my friends. When these points come together to form a single vessel of the soul, I begin to feel the upper light within it—not in each of us individually, but in the connection between us, in our relationships, in the unity.

Each of us is a desire. If I act with a desire to bestow to another and they act with a desire to bestow to me, the connection between us reveals an inner light. It is akin to intra-atomic bonds.

There are two desires. On one hand egoism pushes people apart and makes them unwilling to unite with one another.

On the other hand, above the egoism, they draw closer, and strive to connect their points in the heart. The repelling force of egoism is negative, while the attracting force of the points in the heart is positive.

If the positive force exceeds the negative, connection occurs. The strength of this connection is determined by the immense power of mutual egoism acting as a minus.

However, by transforming it into a plus through uniting above it, we use it as resistance, as a resistor, a place where the force of bestowal, the Creator, can be revealed.

And then He is revealed between us within the former egoism that is now governed by the intention to unite! It is like a field surrounding a charged particle.

Thus, the Creator is revealed to creation—in the connection between souls, not within an individual soul.

Answer: No, this is not bestowal; this is reception. However, you are receiving in those vessels that the Creator has previously blessed.

Question: How can we develop vessels of bestowal? How can we direct ourselves, even slightly, toward bestowal?

Answer: Do you have any requests, wishes, or pleas for Him?

Comment: Yes.

My Response: This is what you should prepare. Then start asking the Creator precisely about the fulfillment of these wishes.

Question: Can we in the ten accumulate and build this set of pleas?

Answer: Of course you can. Then you can track how your requests change, how the ten is transforming with this, etc.

Question: Is it possible to sense that the Creator has answered us?

Answer: No, don’t be confused. For now just ask and demand an answer from Him.

Question: You mentioned that for a long time, you could not accept The Book of Zohar.

Answer: Yes, it repelled me. I considered it unnecessary. Then the light affected me in such a way that a transformation occurred within me. I always use this example with my students.

Question: But if someone simply takes a quote from The Zohar and reads it, will it have an effect on them?

Answer: No, it will only have an effect to the extent that a person wants to correct himself through this book and strives, in some way, to extract something from it. But if, for example, a linguist wants to study it and reads it without any inner drive or demand, they will receive very little influence.

Question: So if we want it to influence us, should we read it with this intention?

Answer: Yes that is enough. However, it is even better if it happens through friends when you all study The Zohar together so that it can influence you and unite you into a single desire against the egoism that divides you.

Question: Let’s say I am sitting in a lesson and I want The Zohar to influence me. How can I build an intention that will also influence everyone else?

Answer: You want it to be this way.

Question: Even if I cannot gather all of this in my mind?

Answer: Try. This attempt is your intention, your inner work. Everything else doesn’t matter.

Question: You have often spoken about the power of silence. How can silence within the ten strengthen the connection with the Creator?

Answer: To the extent that we assign importance to silence, it can strengthen the connection with the Creator. Try to play a “silent game” during a meal or an activity aimed at unity.

In other words, remain silent, reflect, and gather the energy of intention directed toward the Creator. Connect yourself with your friends, bring them all together into one unified knot, and aim it toward the Creator. This is very good work. I recommend doing it at least once a day.

Comment: You say that the collective system understands any of our actions, even if we deceive ourselves, as if playing at friendship and love. It begins to influence us and truly restructures us.

My Response: Yes it is just like we behave with children. They play, mess up, jump, run, speak in an incomprehensible language, and don’t know what they are doing, but we communicate with them as with a very important element of creation that needs to be raised. This is how they develop. The same thing happens with us.

Comment: But we want this artificially and pretend that we love each other.

My Response: We understand that we are only pretending, we do not hide it from ourselves and do not pretend, as it happens in other methods. We know that this is how we are at this stage, and we are constantly revealing more and more layers of egoism in ourselves.

Along with this, we understand that nature is integral, it is some kind of huge single organism, and we need to come to the point in our awareness where we are the highest integral element of this organism.

Therefore, on the one hand, knowing that we are not yet in this quality, we still try to consciously move ourselves toward it. And this conscious movement forward changes us.

We are on the way to a convention, and the main goal now is to awaken a deep, urgent need for it even before we come to it. To achieve this, we must strengthen our connection and unite in our desire so that we can approach the convention with the same intensity as a pack of wolves pouncing on their prey and tearing it apart. This is how we need to prepare ourselves for the convention.

I want to integrate myself among all the participants of the convention with my desire and, together with everyone, extract everything that it contains. Each of us will seize their portion of the prey from the convention and understand that this is precisely why they came. Both men and women will take part in this action.

We want to unite around the topic of the convention and sink our teeth into it to draw life force from it. Each of us must grip it with all their strength because if we act modestly and yield it to one another, it will belong to no one. I must seize my portion myself, but not consume it for my own sake, but rather, pass it on to the Creator.

The force of true faith can only be drawn from the source of faith where we all unite, and each person gives the portion of prey they have captured to others, and in this way, we all share it between us.

Question: You once said that a friend is an obstacle in me that appears to me as someone close to me. What does it mean?

Answer: I do not know in what context this was said at the time. I probably meant that all the people I see existing around me are actually pieces of my soul.

And when I achieve my final correction, and my perception of the world is corrected, I will discover that there is no one but me and the Creator. And everything that I feel today as inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human will turn out to be parts of my desire that represent a desire created by the Creator, a desire in which I will be completely similar to the Creator.

In the same way, you will reveal the entire universe within yourself as your integral part. And so will absolutely each of us without in any way preventing others from achieving the same feeling and revelation.

Perhaps this is what I meant when I said that my friend is my obstacle. In other words, until I discover him as my integral part, he is an obstacle to me because my still uncorrected state divides us into me and him.

Comment: But you were talking about my attitude, not toward any person, but specifically toward a friend. Let us say he may physically look a certain way, but it is my distortion that depicts him. That is how we perceive each other at the moment.

My Response: How is this so?! Am I interested in your hair, eyes, and everything else? What does that have to do with what is inside you? Am I worshiping idols?!

I strive to connect only with a person’s aspiration toward the Creator because it is his true, eternal, innermost desire that will not change and will only grow. And everything else in him will change. And in general, you should not relate to a friend based on some earthly information or passport data.

If I want to discover the true creation for myself, to enter the spiritual world, then I am dealing only with a person’s soul and in no way with his body. What difference does it make to me what kind of body he has, whether he has arms and legs, or not? I want to reach a state where it does not matter to me whether he is in his animalistic body or already beyond it.

Comment: It is still a mystery to me when you say: “The physical attributes of a friend are not important to me; what matters is their inner aspiration toward the Creator.”

My Response: What else is there in a person?! Everything else is animalistic!

In our animal nature, there is a special point in the heart, aspiration toward the Creator. This point is a fragment of a next, higher level. If I work with it and try to connect with it, I gather a group of these points on our physical level, a common desire.

When, by nullifying all our animal aspects, we aim to unite only the spiritual desires, we discover that we rise to the next level and reveal the next degree within this common desire.

And if we ignore our inner point and remain on the earthly level, then we are simply friends with material interests that organize our club and just live in this world. It is one or the other!

Why have we gathered together? To rise to the next level! Therefore, we need to discover our spiritual points and connect them to create a single spiritual vessel. In it, we will feel the next state, the next level, the upper world!

But if we focus on our animal characteristics such as physical attributes or character, we will remain at the level of our world and never transcend it.
