Answer: Connect with your friends and try to reach the Creator through them, that will be your building of the degrees.

Question: Is the revelation of evil a state or a degree?

Answer: This is a state where I feel how opposite I am to the Creator. At different degrees it comes and goes.

Question: Why does the Creator give man the power of faith?

Answer: Because a person is very eager to do this.

Question: If the Creator gives harsh judgments to someone in the ten, how is it right to react internally and externally to show this reaction?

Answer: Help a friend in any way and quietly pray for him.

My Response: Yes, you cannot explain to humanity that you are doing this in order to have the right foundation for ascending to the Creator. They may have no desire for this at all, but there is such a desire in the group.

“Make yourself a Rav” means to accept, as a basis, the upper governance, the laws of the Creator, whose purpose is to lead us to ultimate correction. You simply accept this and act upon it.

Secondly, you buy a friend. Thirdly, you judge all of humanity to the scale of merit. In other words, regardless of what happens, you understand that all of this also comes from the Creator.

But initially, all of these actions must be carried out in a small group. Let’s try to create such a group, such a society.

Question: What needs to happen within us and between us for our prayer to become correct? I would like to know what state we are in when our prayer does not reach the Creator.

Answer: It lacks caring for each other. This is not an easy action because we need to replace our own hearts with those of others.

Suppose there is a friend who involuntarily thinks only of himself. And there is you, who also involuntarily thinks of yourself. How can you exchange desires so that each one thinks in his heart, not of himself, but of the other? You need to think about this carefully. Perhaps you will find a solution.

You find that for Him, faith is not regarded as being of inferior importance. On the contrary, specifically, this path has many merits, but it appears lowly in the eyes of the creatures.

If the rod is thrown to the ground and one wants to work with a higher discernment, meaning within reason, degrading the above reason, and this work seems low, one’s Torah and work immediately become a serpent (Baal HaSulam, Article 59 “Concerning the Rod and the Serpent”).

The serpent is all our vile reasoning. This snake hides inside us, but at the right moment, it shows itself and humiliates a person, inciting pride in him and providing justification for his egoistic actions.

Therefore, one must be careful not to fall into this serpentine state. The environment should create such an illumination around a person that will protect him from this fall into primordial egoism.

One must hold faith above reason as the highest value to prevent the rod from becoming a snake. That is what proper work in the ten should be like.

The mind given to man must be used correctly in order to extract from all Kabbalistic articles principles of bestowal and faith above reason and build one’s intention accordingly.

Above reason does not mean I throw away my mind altogether. Above reason means to rise above the egoistic understanding I used to have and transition to a higher level.

Faith above reason is the ability to relate to the whole reality not from the egoistic point of view, but from the desire to bestow.

Question: What does it mean to treat what the Creator has sent me correctly in the same way He treats it?

Answer: The Creator always gives us a step forward toward Him and helps us move forward.

Therefore, we must try to use each state, realize that it comes to us from the Creator, not leave it without any reaction, and take another step forward.

Question: How do you begin to clothe yourself in the Creator and see reality as He sees it?

Answer: We need to get to this gradually, and then we will see how we are progressing. In the meantime, we need to convince ourselves all the time that we should ask the Creator to bring us closer to Him.

Question: At the moment the Creator allows me to see the misuse of a desire given to me, what is my inner state?

Answer: It depends on the person. Either you are glad that the Creator has answered you or you see Him as bad.

In this case, everyone must weigh their condition.

If you were truly allowed to see the evil in you or the misuse of a desire, then you should thank the Creator for this.

If your friend reveals evil in himself, then you must help him by joining him and working with him to transform this evil into good.

Implementing unity to the extent desired by the Creator means achieving unity without any limitations.

And in order to feel what He wants from us, we must ask Him, bother Him, and request from Him. And then we will understand the connection with Him and will develop in this connection.

Question: Since we are constantly striving to unite and our external actions always seem the same, how can we check our intention to bestow?

Answer: Look not at the actions, but at the intention. That is all you need to check: for what, for whom, in the name of what?

A sign of a correct intention is that it is directed toward the Creator.
