Question: If the Creator holds our heart in His hands, then what does “work in the heart” mean? What are we supposed to do?

Answer: First of all, we must feel that the Creator holds my heart in His hands and completely determines everything within it: all my desires, intentions, thoughts, and impulses, from the most terrifying to the most beautiful.

Once I have reached this state, the question arises: what can I attribute to myself? What would the Creator want me to do now with the heart that He has created within me? How can I rise correctly above my heart and recognize with gratitude that everything the Creator has done is solely for my benefit?

I need to identify what the problems in my heart are. And I can define what a correct heart is only if it is created by the group instead of the Creator.

I must exist between two forces. One force is bad, evil, that is the Creator. He Himself admits: “I created evil.” On the other hand, He created the group, the light called the “Torah,” which I receive through the group to correct this evil. And I exist between these two forces.

The Creator holds my evil heart, which He deliberately created, so that I would find Him, the true Him, through the group. I must create such a state within myself and live in it. In this state, I myself become like the middle part of the Sefira Tiferet, the “Klipat Noga,” where on one side are the evil forces held by the Creator. After all, it is not in vain that He says: “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart.”

And on the other side is His good force, called “light,” the “Torah,” through which I perform correction. But I correct the evil force using the good force in such a way that I constantly exist in balance between them, and this is how I advance.

Advancement always takes place in the middle line. My dark left line is constantly renewed, and therefore I constantly need the right line, a stronger connection with the group, and more light.

This is exactly how one should imagine the relationship between me, the group, and the Creator.

The Creator does not initially play a positive role. Initially, He is the destroyer, the creator of evil within us so that He can later teach us how to do everything correctly, like a mother who steps away from her child and gives him a chance to learn to walk.

Question: Yesterday was a very intense day of the convention, and we reached a state of ascent. I felt there was no place left to add effort; it was so elevated.

I started looking for that place and discovered many clusters of dark matter of the will to receive, of hatred within me. I tried to touch it and saw that a great light comes to it, and I can use it as fuel.

But when I touched it, it turned me into a wicked one. How can I work with this dark Malchut so as not to fall into it, but rise by means of it? It feels like walking on the edge of a blade.

Answer: You must constantly think about how you want to draw it to yourself, to grab hold of it, and to rise together with it. Act on it.

Question: Is adhesion with the Creator when you feel His will as your own desire?

Answer: Yes.

Question: If a thought comes like light, but I don’t let it into the Kli, and it doesn’t become reality, but remains outside as light that I don’t give form to, can it be said that this emptiness already contains equivalence of form?

Can bestowal begin not from desire, but from emptiness?

Question: I managed to implement the rule “If I am not for myself, who is for me,” because I feel that no one else will do it for me.

But to fulfill “There is none else besides Him,” I make efforts and act with the strength the Creator gives me. Yet after the work is done, I cannot agree that there were no efforts of my own and that everything was done by the Creator.

What should I do with these feelings? Forget them? Dismiss them? Turn away? Because I cannot reconcile the two rules. And if I could, I cannot imagine what the result would be.

Answer: Yes, you are right. Everyone faces this dilemma, and each person must try to resolve it for themselves.

Question: Is a person able to hold on to intention during the action?

Answer: What a person is capable of or not, we should not say that now. Once it becomes clear who we are, only then can we pass such a verdict.

Question: We carry out actions both in the material and the spiritual. We perform them. Then comes the realization: “Everything the Creator does is for the best,” meaning “There is none else besides Him.”

We enter this state, it settles within us as if some kind of chip is implanted in us.

Does this state get transmitted in some way to all of humanity? Is that our way of giving to the world? We want to be the Creator’s helpers in the salvation of all humanity.

Answer: That is bestowal and it is transmitted.

Question: Let’s say a ten is working to reach a state of faith above reason. What is the correct path: to reach a state where faith above reason becomes absolutely perfect or to strive to attain upper reason?

Answer: You must demand from the Creator that He answer all your questions. And then, through His answers, you will see how you are making your way toward Him through your questions, and how this helps you reach direct contact with Him.

Question: You said that we should see the difference between our initial state and our current one. I feel that I do see this difference. But how can I be sure that it is not just my illusion and that real progress is happening?

Answer: You must keep persistently demanding connection with the higher Partzuf, which clothes itself in you and moves you forward.

Question: How can one correctly redirect one’s thoughts toward the Creator?

Answer: I think there is no need to think about it too much. You simply need to understand how to adhere to the Creator. And if you can do that, you do not need anything else.

Question: Why is faith important in spiritual work if a person wants to know the truth?

Answer: Faith in the spiritual sense means truth. So it does not matter who is asking or how they are asking.

The main thing is that you ask for what is truly necessary for your further advancement toward the goal. And then there will be no problems.

Question: If a person is shown that he is not in perfection in his relationship with the Creator, how can he stay on the path and continue to choose the Creator each time?

Answer: What is the problem? He is shown the full picture: where he is, where the Creator is, and where the world is. And from all of this, he must build the correct system.

Question: When a person worries about himself, that he is distant from the Creator, how can he avoid thinking about his own distance and instead include in this sorrow the exile of the Shechina?

Answer: I would advise him to forget about himself a little. And then things will start to work out.
