If humanity does not accept the method of connection which the wisdom of Kabbalah is offering, then it will simply collapse. In the end, we will still realize the necessity for unity, but at the cost of horrible blows.

It is like children who do not want to listen to their parents who are urging them to be friendly with each other. After many quarrels and bruises, they will nevertheless gradually understand that it is impossible to play and develop alone and they will step onto the right path.

But such a path to connection is called the path of suffering. The wisdom of Kabbalah warns us that this path encompasses nuclear world wars, enormous suffering, famine, and epidemics. The lack of our connection is evoking such changes in the climate of the planet that soon there will be another ice age. Kabbalists tell us that if humanity will not want to unite voluntarily, they will have to do it nevertheless, but only with a small handful of people who survive after all these terrible events, and they eventually come to unification.

The fact is that unity is a goal of the entire evolution of nature, not just people. All forms of nature need to connect together into one harmonious whole. In all parts of nature: in stones, plants, animals, and in people, harmony should prevail in such a way that all these levels complete and support one another. It is written in Prophets that at the end of correction of the world, a wolf will dwell peacefully with a lamb, and a small boy will lead them.

Having achieved such harmony, unity, connection, and balance, this world will transform from the multitude of different parts into one organism. And a body that senses itself as one whole begins to feel a higher level of its existence that is called the Creator, the upper force. The higher level of nature contains a program, as if it is a big computer, a brain that operates us and leads us to unity and connection, whether through a path of suffering, or due to us uniting of our own accord.

The first time that humanity began to feel the need for the method of unification was in ancient Babylon. Until then, unity was natural, since they lived as one nation sharing everything. Although there were many different communities, ethnic groups, and family clans in this ancient nation, they all lived in peace and harmony. Egoism was very small.

But then egoism suddenly grew suddenly, and at that time they began to feel how divided they were and how much they lacked unity. Thus they understood the need for a method of connection. All this happened about 3,500 years ago. Part of the Babylonians felt the need for this method, and since then the wisdom of Kabbalah, which explains how to do it, became revealed.

The Creator’s Tower in the Place of the Tower of Babylon

Question: Modern Israeli society is torn apart by egoism and hatred. It is completely detached. Its systems are rotten and are involved in egoistic games. Everybody cares solely about themselves.

How can the society based on the most negative attitude among its members be brought to the state of connectedness, unity, and love, taking into consideration that it is extremely far from the picture you draw for us?

Answer: It is true: Israeli society is the most egoistic of all. When the people of Israel rise, they can reach a stellar height. However, if they fall, they fall deeper than the rest.

We critically lack unity. It’s obvious! It is good that our drawbacks are openly shown to us. It is wonderful that we know how terrible our state is and how desperately we need unity. The good thing is that we also have the “instruction book” that explains how to achieve it.

The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us steps to attract the higher force of benevolence. It is the science of the Creator’s revelation in this world. The Creator is the power of love and mutual bestowal, the force of unity.

The main thing is to attract and reveal the force of bestowal, love, unity, and mutual inclusion among us. Then, the opposite force, the power of detachment, egoism, in conjunction with the benevolent force will give additional energy.

Strength always comes as a result of the joint work of opposite forces. The bigger the potential difference is, the stronger the discrepancy between a plus and a minus is,  one hundred volts, a thousand volts, a million volts, the greater the power.

If we add a positive power to the huge minus that we have today, we’d connect the entire universe in one unified, joint structure.

Question: Israel is the country where people have the biggest egoism in the world, isn’t it?

Answer: Israel is not just a country. Israel is a nation that previously attained a spiritual level, but then lost it. That’s why it fell so deeply into materiality and has the greatest egoism compared to other nations.

Question: Do we really have a chance to unite considering we have such huge egoism?

Answer: The Jews are the biggest egoists who have a potential to reach unity. There is no other nation that is as egoistic, cruel, shortsighted, and blind when it comes to its mission. This is why we are capable of self-correction and push the entire humanity forward.

It was not an accident that Israel was elevated to a spiritual height and then fell in the abyss of egoism, thus acquiring a chance to correct. When the Jews correct themselves, the entire world is also corrected.

At this time of our historic development, humanity has returned to the state of ancient Babylon, to the Babylonians who nowadays have become the multi-billion of Earth’s population. The people of Israel are not at all numerous; on the contrary, this nation is still quite small, but the Light and abundance can be transmitted through it as through the eye of a needle and can be delivered to all of humanity. The Jewish people possess an enormous power.

The only thing that should be triggered in this world is the power of unity, the upper force of connection and love. It will fill our life with happiness and abundance. The power will balance the existing minus and make the world harmonious, undivided, and benevolent.

The mourning day of the 9^th of Av will transform into a day of joy and love, as it is said in the Prophets. Whether it will happen or not depends only on us. We can transform the dark day that stems from a spiritual root of a complete darkness in which the destructions took place: the shattering of the first tablets, the collapse of the First and Second Temples, and endless disasters that happened throughout the Jewish history.

By bringing the power of unity into the existing darkness, we will correct prior destructions and build the Creator’s power, thus elevating the entire humanity to the state of unity. Then, all our world will ascend to the upper, spiritual height. We will ascend to eternal life, the transition to the next dimension. Let it happen!

The Entire World as a New Babylon

The Jews transferred their knowledge to the nations of the world. In return, they obtained other nations’ desires, needs, and thoughts—special forms of egoism that the Jews didn’t possess originally. As a result, the Jewish people descended even more.

The nations of the world represent the Babylonians who didn’t join Abraham in his spiritual elevation. Because the Jews were spread among the nations of the world for thousands of years, they acquired other peoples’ naturally developed egoism that they originally lacked.

Today, everybody possesses huge egoism. The knowledge that the people of Israel transferred to the nations of the world helped them develop, so they now depend on the Jewish people, forcing Israel to fulfill its mission.

The nations of the world constantly announce that the reason for all the world problems are the Jews, even though the latter comprise less than one percent of the world’s population. The Jews are, however, spread throughout the world and occupy key positions in industry, science, banking, with many Jews among Nobel Prize winners.

The Jews have a wide-range impact, but in the opinion of anti-Semites, their influence is harmful. What can be done? At this point, The Book of Zohar, which was written at the beginning of the last exile 2000 years ago helps us understand by explaining that the Jews must unite.

Now is the time to reach unity because the entire world has now reached the state of ancient Babylon when everybody was connected and interconnected. The Jews have brought humanity to interdependency by implementing the methodology of unity in industry, culture, education, banking, etc.

So, the idea of mutual connection descended to this world through the Jews who received it from the upper force, the force of connection, which was transferred to them from Abraham. If not for this continuity, it would never have happened. The force existed in ancient Babylon in its most natural and original state. However, as society continued to advance, the force kept vanishing, leaving humanity fragmented and detached.

People were glad to separate from others no matter whether they were in a forest or a desert. As they strived to detach from their neighbors, a state of unity was possible only due to the Jews who managed to develop industry, culture, and education.

This explains why today the Jews are the ones who must present a new methodology of unity to the world. In ancient Babylon, Abraham failed to attract the majority of Babylonians to his methodology, whereas today, it is our obligation to attain this state. Today, the Jews are actually in debt to the world, and so they must reach out and succeed in their efforts to transfer the methodology of connection to the world.

From Barbarity to a Civilized (Enlightened) World

During their thousands of years of exile, the people of Israel suffered from the destruction of the First and Second Temples, reached the state of a complete shattering, and lost even the slightest memory about the common system that united them.

Starting with Adam, the first man, the Jewish people realized how the system worked. At the time of Abraham, they persistently studied the structure of unity, and at the time of Moses, they even managed to implement it among them.

This state of affairs lasted until the destruction of the Second Temple, until the time of Rabbi Akiva, at which time everything collapsed. The downfall had a great impact on the advancement of all of humanity.

On one hand, the Jews spread around the world. This process allowed them to contribute their form of development to other countries, affecting the development of religion, thought, belief, philosophy, science, and medicine.

The knowledge was transferred through the ancient Greeks and Romans, through philosophers throughout history. The Jews founded a system of commerce and industry in Europe and built the base for modern trade and manufacturing.

The system they created was integral, and in spite of the Jews being scattered around the world, they spoke one language and understood each other well. So they were able to build connections with other. These events took place about 1500 years ago, and were possible only due to the special state in which the Jewish people had attained.

A Jew could travel from Italy to Holland and speak with local Jews without any problem, attend a synagogue and make trade deals. And vice versa, Jews from Holland traveled to Italy or other countries and did the same thing. In the fragmented world where countries were isolated, Jews served as a link of connection.  

The Jews were a united by common culture, education, language, and Kashrut (religious dietary laws.). When a Jew came to another country, he could eat only in local Jewish homes, never anywhere else. This tradition also strongly promoted inter-Jewish connections since travelers attended local synagogues. This type of conduct stimulated the growth of industry and commerce in the world.

This is how the Jews contributed to the overall advancement in the world, as they were exiled to deliver technologies, science, industry, commerce, and religions to other nations.  

Originally, all religions served the purpose of moving humanity forward, and thanks to religions, paganism ceased to exist. People stopped worshipping trees and stones and stopped associating material objects with supernatural powers. They became more spiritual.

Thus, a good basis was created for the development of arts, painting, music, etc. The arts stimulated people’s internal, spiritual advancement and reached the common people through their religions. The nations of the world do not have a clue that their success in the arts and sciences was made possible by the Jews who received this knowledge only because at some point they attained the upper spiritual force hidden in nature.

Hard Days Under the Siege of Egoism

The upper system of governance acts in accordance with concrete, rigid laws that have numerous parameters and define our calendar.

The Christian calendar is based on solar cycles; as for the Muslim calendar, it is linked to lunar rotation. Judaism takes both solar and lunar circulation into consideration.

This is why the Jewish calendar is permanent. In other words, throughout all of history, starting with the first man Adam, who lived several thousand years ago, and up to today, any event that ever took place on the face of Earth can be predicted and calculated: Pesach (Passover), Shavuot, Sukkot, etc. It’s possible to tell what year, month, or week these holidays will take place in the future.

All sunrises and sunsets can be clearly calculated as well as in what proportion days and nights will be split into hours of light (day) and night (dark).

The Jewish calendar is very precise. It is built on astronomical formulas and embraces the entirety of nature. It is possible due to the wisdom of Kabbalah.

There are special dates in the calendar, i.e., favorable and unfavorable times that are outlined by either enhancement of egoism or the prevailing of the energy of love. These two forces, the right and left, usually are balanced out and constitute the middle line.

Due to this state of affairs, there exists an unfavorable period that starts on the 17^th of the month of Tammuz and lasts until the 9^th of Av. This period has been considered negative for thousands of years throughout all generations. For the duration of this period, it is common to mourn since the upper force of bestowal and love conceals itself in this world.

Various disasters happen to the people of Israel because they are connected with the higher power. On the contrary, the nations of the world that are interlaced with the evil force of egoism are especially successful during this period.

Question: It looks fatal and inevitable, is that so?

Answer: Yes, it’s inevitable because spiritual and material roots are connected. The spiritual system that governs this world moves the sun, the moon and the Earth. It rotates the entire universe.

Accordingly, the force of the upper governance influences not only astronomic objects of the Universe that are yet at a still developmental level, but also impacts the vegetative and animate levels.

We see that each plant goes through yearly cycles of flourishing and wilting. Animals as well are subject to yearly cycles; they multiply during certain periods of the year since they are connected with the governing system. Only humans are not subject to the influence of the cycles since they are not limited by inanimate, vegetative, or animate stages of nature.

Humans depend on inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature because this is where they get their nourishment. However, they do not conform to laws of nature the way plants and animals do. Yet, humans also go through good and bad periods because they are governed by nature at the speaking level.

If we rise above our nature, bad periods transform into the most benevolent ones and become immeasurably better than our happiest times. It all depends solely on us human beings. To make this happen, we are granted the wisdom of Kabbalah.

It means that the period between the 17^th of Tammuz and the 9^th of Av is very harsh for the people of Israel since evil is activated strongly during this period. The only reason for the emerging of the evil is to make it transform into the good. So far, we are not ready for that, nor do we have energy for such transformation.

Our unity has not yet reached a degree at which we attract a benevolent power of the upper governance that acts in this world and helps us unite even more and pour out the force of unity into this world, thus changing for the better.

Question: Does it mean that human relationships define the destiny of the entire universe?

Answer: The Creator is nature. The upper force of nature called “the Creator” influences us from above, that is, from outside to inside us. We have an ability to rearrange this situation, make it opposite, thus impacting it by acting from the inside out, from bottom up. By doing so, we change reality. This is our job.

Exiled for Thousands of Years

After destruction of the First Temple, the Babylonian exile began. Purim events described in Megillat Esther took place during this period of time.

The hardships of exile forced the Jewish people to return to the land of Israel and enhance their unity.

They managed to build a good, strong connection among them even though their unity was not quite the same level as it was previously. They returned from Babylon with a new higher degree of egoism and strong selfish desires that they picked up from other nations.

It was as if they returned to Babylon that they once abandoned, submerged in the bubbling egoism, and then again returned to Israel. However, this time they were unable to build relationships as faithful, strong, and wonderful as they had initially. So, they decided to build something less complicated, that is, to create the type of connection called the “Second Temple.”

They were intertwined with each other but still divided into various confronting groups and clans. As a result, a new round of collapsing began. It’s very important to realize that unity can be reached only for a moment; after this moment, for centuries people slid down from the height of unity.

This is what happened to the Second Temple. The First Temple lasted for several centuries and then collapsed. The Second Temple repeated this pattern.

Great Kabbalist, Rabbi Akiva, lived at the time of the Second Temple. He made every effort to strengthen unity among the people of Israel.

Unfortunately, an unexplainable hatred instead of brotherly love suddenly appeared among his disciples who numbered 24,000 people. Distorted connection among them didn’t allow them to sense a magnificent “circle” that embraces the entire universe.

Detachment among Rabbi Akiva’s students accelerated the collapse of the Second Temple, i.e., hastened annihilation of their internal connection. This explains why they once again were exiled. The exile has lasted or two thousand years, until now.

Question: The Jewish people do a lot of good things and good deeds. But I see that non-Jews view it negatively, and instead of seeing us as good, they see us as bad. Why?

Answer: What good did we, the smartest and most educated people, do for the world? Did we perform our mission to be the light for the nations? Why should they love us?

Humanity feels intuitively that we bring harm and hatred into the world. We cannot imagine how this could be possible, so ask, “What are we doing wrong? We do not wish anyone any harm! Why does everyone hate us and not the people who seek to destroy others? For what?” Start to investigate this and try to find the true cause of this phenomenon.

Why does North Korea, with whom we have never had any relationship, hold first place in the world for anti-Semitism? Why such hatred?

Because anti-Semitism exists inside nature, is its law, and there is nothing we can do about it. No amount of logic will help us. If this phenomenon has been observed for thousands of years, then we should take it seriously, and not on the level of feelings. We must get to the bottom of why we occupy one place in nature and the rest of the world another.

I have been studying laws of nature for the past 40 years. Prior to that, my specialty was bio-cybernetics. But over these 40 years I have come to realize that unity is the cardinal foundation that exists in all of nature, and there is nothing one can do about it because we cannot go against a law of nature.

Abraham was not a Jew, but an ancient Babylonian who worshiped idols. But yearning to understand why there was such disconnection in his society, he revealed that in nature, there is a law of unity and that humanity needs to come to unification. All of nature strives for oneness within itself from the time of the Big Bang until final correction, and having revealed this law, Abraham began to teach it to anyone who wanted to learn.

The most sensitive, developed, and responsive people joined him. With them he went out of Babylon. They started calling themselves Yehudim, from the word “Yichud” (unity) or Ivrim from the word “Laavor” (to cross over).

Prior to the destruction of the Second Temple, this group fulfilled its mission. But since the time when the last exile emerged, they have not. And until we come together and understand our mission, until we grasp it and announce it to the whole world, we can not expect anything good.

Because ultimately, all the Babylonians, i.e., all humanity, must arrive at unification. And it is we who have to bring this unity to the world.

Comment: I always thought that Kabbalists were a closed group of people who study the Torah and reveal its secret meanings, which they don’t share with anyone, thus attaining a new level of self-improvement. On the other hand, the Bnei Baruch organization is an academic institution that is open to the public and includes more than two million members.

Answer: If we look at books that Kabbalists wrote in the last 3,500 years, for example, we will see that they wanted to disseminate this wisdom very much, not only among the Jews but to the whole world too. This is the reason that the wisdom of Kabbalah is meant for everyone, since if we don’t know how to behave properly, we will bring ourselves to destruction.

The Kabbalistic method teaches us how to connect all of humanity into one whole. It emerged during the first crisis that broke out in ancient Babylon where the lack of understanding, rejection, and division were revealed between people. Then a priest in ancient Babylon called Abraham discovered this method, and representatives of different nations began to gather around him. This group that left Babylon with Abraham became known as the Jews.

This means that the Jews are a nation not by origin, like the other nations, but are united by their ideology. They took it upon themselves to be committed to the fulfillment of the main law of the Torah, which is “love thy friend as thyself,” and this became their ideal in life and the meaning of their existence. In addition, they were also committed to be Light unto the nations, which means to bring this wisdom to the world so that the world can unite and ascend to the next level of its development.

You and I are living in a special time when the world is beginning to feel more and more united. The only problem is that these connections are negative rather than positive. Meanwhile, we feel our complete dependence on each other, which is beginning to worry and irritate everyone.

If the dependence is not a kind one, then such connection brings only problems, as it is written, “the unity of criminals is to their own and the whole world’s detriment.” If people do not correct themselves and their relationships, it is better for them to separate and keep their distance from each other.

All of this started in ancient Babylon where egoism developed to such an extent that people began to hate one another. Consequently, many languages arose. Egoism erupted for the first time and separated people. Before then, they all lived as one nation where everything was shared.

However, suddenly they felt disconnected and a belonging to different communities, families, and nationalities, and therefore they could not continue to live together. From then on. the science of Kabbalah appeared.

One sage named Abraham, who lived in Babylon, revealed that we cannot resist our connection. People definitely will be connected, and we will not succeed in distancing ourselves from each other. However, we should know how to unite correctly, regardless of the egoism that grows with every passing day. Thus, the science of Kabbalah appeared, and it is the method of good connection between people.

Kabbalah states that first we need to correct ourselves and our relationships with each other. Then, everything we do will be to our benefit.

Moses and the Receiving of the Torah

Babylonians who rejected Abraham’s methodology spread around the earth, to all countries. Abraham’s group left Babylon and went to the land of Canaan. Then, they descended to Egypt and then again returned to Canaan, which later became the land of Israel.

Abraham’s group underwent numerous troubles. The main mission of the group was to transfer the methodology of connection when the time comes to the Babylonians, i.e., to the entire world.

After Abraham, several generations of Kabbalists emerged: Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and finally Moses. They revealed the ways of the practical implementation of the methodology. Moses elevated Abraham’s group to a new level of unity called “the receiving of the Torah.”

They had to unite at a higher level to reach a “mountain of hatred,” Mount Sinai, instead of the Tower of Babel. For that, they had to refer to a much more powerful force. Should they succeed, the methodology named “the Torah” would be disclosed to them.

The Torah is the wisdom of Kabbalah that pursues the Creator’s revelation to the creations in this world. The Torah discloses the connecting network that unites us with each other through benevolent relationships, warmth, and mutual affection. The main principle of the Torah, “love thy neighbor as thyself,” should lead us from loving the created beings to loving the Creator.

Moses disclosed the methodology to the people of Israel who went through Egyptian exile and gained tremendous egoism from being in the exile. Their selfishness reached a much higher degree than of those who were associated with the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel plus egoism accrued in Egypt transformed to Mount Sinai (hatred), thus they got a chance to work on Mount Sinai by improving connections between them.

After revealing the enormous system of nature, the people of Israel realized that their mission was to correct the reality and humanity including the Babylonians from whom they once ran away.

Correction happens in two steps: the first step is to elevate the people of Israel to the height at which they become one man with one heart. This work is called “forty years of wondering in the desert.”

After this phase, the people of Israel reach a state of such a great unity that building the type of connection called “the Temple” becomes possible. The Temple stands for the vessel of sanctity for the sake of bestowal and mutual love.

The vessel is called The Temple (the house of sanctity); divinity is bestowal and love. However, the people were unable to maintain a level this high for more than one instant; they immediately fell from this level.

The great love and unity they attained for one short moment collapsed. People split into hostile groups that confronted each other.

They continued to fall even lower until Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple. This is not about ruining some building in Jerusalem; rather, it was about hostile egoistic forces that smashed unity among the people of Israel.

They reached a wonderful state of unity. Inside it they revealed the system of the higher governance that rules the entire universe. All of a sudden, the beautiful rounded structure started rotting, deteriorating and exploding. Big groups detached from the people of Israel: the Sadducees (Tzdokim), K’tzinim (nobility), and others.

As a result, unity collapsed. The Jews became strangers to each other as if they were already spread among other nations, as it is written in Megillat Esther. However, they remembered that they were united at some point in the history, but this fact vanished and wasn’t important to them anymore.

The situation worsened. Historic process, i.e., the system of the upper governance they were previously familiar with, didn’t let them stay at the same stage forever. The first man Adam, together with Kabbalists who followed him, discovered that the world has to reach unity again.

It is written in the Prophets: “Everybody will know Me; My house will become the House of Prayer for all nations. Everybody will unite. The wolf shall dwell with the lamb.” The world should attain unity and harmony that includes all these states. This level is called the Third Temple.
