Each group is a “circle” of desires, where everyone is absolutely equal. If we want to determine the difference in their levels, we measure the distance between their central points; this distance is called the “straight line” (Yosher).

Let’s say one group is the group of Rabbi Shimon’s students, great Kabbalists. The second has just reached their first spiritual level. Both form a “circle,” but the difference between them is measured by the “straight line” (Yosher).

Each level, each state, has its own “circles” and a “straight line” stretching from one circle to another through their centers. If a group is already at a spiritual level, even the very first one, there is already a circle between them, albeit a very small one. From its center, we can measure the distance to the center of Rabbi Shimon’s group, and we get exactly 125 levels or states.

To each new state, you ascend along the “straight line” (Yosher), and then build a circle within it. Then you ascend again in a straight line and form a circle. Thus we advance step by step.

And the central point of the “circle,” the shared desire of the group, is the unification of everyone, so that through joint efforts, we can reveal the common quality of bestowal, which is called the Creator.

I built a “wall” inside myself that shuts myself off from the world, from everyone. I live inside myself peacefully, alone. No one suspects that I live like this.

Comment: That’s interesting! You have hundreds of thousands of students and you say this is how you live.

My Response: That doesn’t matter.

My Response: The secret is very simple. I build this world within myself and therefore even if I am in contradiction with the world imposed on me, that contradiction does not oppress me or fight me. I simply set it aside and continue.

Question: Can you at least tell a little about what you have there in that world?

Answer: In that world I am a king. And I serve the great Creator. That is all. Everything is very simple.

Question: It is easy to say, but it is not so simple. Yet one really wants to be in such a world. Is there advice on how to get into it, into that world?

Answer: Squeeze through.

Question: How?

Answer: You must build it. A person must build it within himself. And when he builds it, he discovers that yes, it is possible, it must be done, and it will be eternal.

Question: Is it both security and peace?

Answer: It covers absolutely everything! It is the kingdom of the great king.

Question: “The great king,” but is the king Him?

Answer: Yes, and you build it for Him.

Question: You build it for Him? And then you end up in it? So that He rules there?

Answer: So that I will rule everything for Him.

The preparation period does not mean that we have to arm ourselves with patience and wait for it to pass. It will not pass unless we do everything in our power for to ensure its end in the next moment.

Waiting means that I am ready to invest effort in it every moment, without despair, again and again. And every moment I expect I will receive the reward—the power of bestowal that I demand, and so, again and again, at every moment, tirelessly.

If I am capable of this, if the states (entrances and exits) quickly replace one another, it is a sign that I can truly be awarded a higher, deeper degree. After all, the more transgressions and mistakes a person reveals during preparation, the more one advances in the single and double disclosure beyond the Machsom, and achieves correction.

During the preparation period, the group must provide everyone with the strength of consistency, perseverance, confidence, and patience, understanding that we have no choice, this is how we advance. And so year after year, until we are ready at every moment to give up immediate reward and to work even without it. That means we are worthy of crossing the Machsom.

A person strives so to the next degree that, due to the immense, passionate, burning desire for bestowal in him, he is ready to give it up and continue the stage of preparation. If the Creator wants to give me only this preparation, and I only want to achieve bestowal, then I am satisfied with this, and I do not need the Machsom, and then I receive it.

All people lie, but it’s not scary, no one listens to each other.

My Response: The scary thing is that they do not listen. That is true.

To listen means to realize, to understand. Not necessarily to agree but to understand what the other means, why he has such a worldview.

Comment: To let him a little bit inside you?

My Response: No, not even to let him in. Enter into him and understand how he acts, how he thinks. It may well be that his way of thinking, his approach to life is correct. Try to argue with him, to align with him somehow, and so on.

That is what it means to listen to another. Listening means, first of all, to understand.

Answer: No. Egoists cannot listen to each other. They are initially tuned to clearly satisfy their egoism.

My Response: No, it will not help. To hear is not enough; that is the point.

Here, upper forces of nature are necessary, hidden forces within nature that could help us become different, the opposite of our present state. And that requires a whole method.

Question: Do you think Einstein understood that there are hidden forces of nature?

Answer: He did not understand the possibility of changing man.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

My Response: That is correct. Because we cannot imagine how simple, near, and opposite to us the upper world is, the world of bestowal, of love, when we perceive everything in connection and not in separation, in isolation from one another.

Comment: We say: “Love, it is so simple! Let’s unite, let’s love each other.” And you say: “It is not so simple!”

My Response: No. I say: “It is not so simple,” because we are not capable of doing it.

We should not keep falling into the same trap again. Besides, love is not what we define in our world as love—some hormonal, psychological, or sexual satisfactions. No.

What is meant is the connection of people among themselves in inner unity, when we feel that not our bodies (bodies as if disappear), but we ourselves are inwardly interconnected, that some kind of inner joining, merging takes place, and this creates a new community, an inner, spiritual one. In this inner, spiritual community, we begin to feel ourselves living as if in another bubble, in a new world.

Question: Is this love?

Answer: This is achieved by love. Such a connection is called love.

If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?

Question: You often speak about the perception of reality. An empty desk, what does that actually mean?

Answer: It is an allegory. In general, a person who has no inner thoughts, no struggle, no constant confusion, no constant searching, he does not move forward, does not develop. He must always doubt himself and constantly investigate.

Question: Is this what you call life?

Answer: Yes. But when we look at such a person, we think: “He probably does not know anything. He is probably unsure.” In reality, it is the opposite.

Animal-like peace kills everything. That, of course, is terrible! We hope that the Creator will watch over us and not let us have peace.

My Response: Only in this case can you achieve true success. It is not by comparing yourself with other people, but by comparing yourself with nature: how you can truly reveal it, know it, and be in harmony with it. To be in harmony with nature, that is the meaning of life.

If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.

My Response: There is really nothing to add here; it is so true. Not to things, of course. And not to people, because people themselves are tied to things.

That means you must detach yourself from everything, determine your upper goal, and strive only toward it. At the same time, try somehow to explain to others, to direct them toward the same goal. This is what Einstein did all his life.

The only thing that interferes with my learning is the education I received.

My Response: Any education, in principle, confines a person within certain boundaries, not letting him break free from them.

But on the other hand, you cannot do without it. Yet, you must somehow act so that education does not limit you. This is what is meant by the saying: “Train a child according to his way.” Guide him in such a way that he develops himself.

Comment: All this propaganda and gaslighting penetrates every nook and cranny. It is the psychological manipulation of a person that makes him doubt the correctness of his own thoughts and leads to a loss of confidence and dependence on the manipulator.

My Response: This gaslighting wants to explain to a person that they are being controlled. In general. And a person should feel that he controls himself. And then there is a single combat between a person and someone who encroaches on his independence.
