Rise above Your Nature

232.05We should interpret that the sin is in saying that there is an evil inclination instead of “There is none else besides Him” (Rabash, “The Sorrow of the Shechina – 2”).

Question: We constantly say we have evil inclination. Do we already sin by this? Do we have to look at this situation differently?

Answer: Initially we are connected to our sinful nature—egoism.

Therefore, first we must figure out how to break out of it, rise above it, and then perform all other actions.
We are born, develop, and live with our egoism, which is opposite to the Creator. So, we need to reach such a state to rise above the ego higher and higher and eventually start working against it.
