What to Ask For, the Kli or the Light?
Question: What is more effective to ask for: attainment in Torah or a constant lack of it? In other words what is it better to ask for, the Kli or the light?
Answer: The light. When the light comes, it fills you and leaves you with the correct desire afterward. Therefore, one should constantly strive for the light of Torah.
Question: How does the light of Torah come to us in faith above reason when there is neither deficiency nor suffering? Maybe this is already merging with the Creator?
Answer: Hold on, it does not happen that quickly. Usually, a small illumination comes to you that supports and guides you forward. This mainly happens because there are many of you. That is the only reason.
