In A Whirlwind Of Doubt

276.02Comment: It is written in the sources that Pharaoh is a quality of the Oref  (back of the neck), narrow-sea (Metzar-Yam). When the upper good descends to the lower ones, Pharaoh sucks it out through his question: “Who is the Creator that I should listen to Him”?

My Response: The problem is that when a person aspires to spirituality, all sorts of doubts arise in him, which, in principle, are expressed in two questions: “Who should I listen to? Where should I go”?

Why should I bow before the qualities of bestowal and love? Why should I come closer to others? Why should I hate reception and extol the quality of bestowal? All these questions, which can be expressed in another way, are called the questions of Ma? (What?) and Mi? (Who?).

Question: What should I answer if my inner voice wakes up and says: “Who is the Creator? Why should I listen and work for Him at all?”

Answer: The problem is not Who is the Creator? But Who is the Creator that I should listen to Him?. These questions cannot be answered in any way. There is only one answer, I go above these questions.

Question: What will give me the fuel to rise above them?

Answer: You have no other choice. Once you begin to respond in this way, you will see that you have energy, and you have the opportunity to continue the spiritual path. As soon as you take the first step, fuel will immediately appear from somewhere.

Our nature only works if we have some benefit from that. Although, on one hand, the nature of a person seems to stand behind Pharaoh, but in fact, it stands behind the Creator. We must understand that this is arranged specially in this way to educate a person.
