“On That Day Shall The Lord Be One, And His Name One.”

939.01Question: There is an expression: “And the Lord shall become King over all the earth; on that day shall the Lord be one, and His name one.” What name is this referring to? What does “And His name ‘One’” mean?

Answer: “The Lord shall become King,” which means the force that manages will be revealed and will be clear. “Over all the earth,” over the whole desire that He created. “On that day,” when the whole light will illuminate all the desires. “The Lord” means the only force of good that fills everything. “And His name one,” His name means the ten Sefirot, HaVaYaH, will become one whole. This means that the infinite number of tens will begin to gather together and assemble into one ten, into one HaVaYaH, into the one name of the Creator.

Question: If I understand correctly, the revelation of the names of the Creator is the revelation of the system of ten Sefirot through which the Creator bestows unto the creation in different ways, by different names.

Answer: Yes, absolutely.
