Can A Heartless Person Have A Soul?

Laitman_049.01Question: Can a person who has a soul in the Kabbalistic sense be heartless or unscrupulous by human standards?

Answer: Only a person who has a connection with the common soul has a soul. His qualities extend beyond the limits of egoism, which absorbs everything into itself. And he, on the other hand, wants to give, to disseminate. Thus, he is connected with the common soul by a reciprocal mutual connection.

Question: But can he appear to be shameless and heartless on the outside?

Answer: No, because he is connected with the common soul. But in the eyes of egoists, he can appear quite odd, and maybe even rude, because he does not satisfy their petty egotistical notions.
