Question: How can one constantly remain in mutual responsibility so that the Creator does not remind us of Himself with obstacles like accidents, courts, or health issues?

Answer: I do not think the Creator reminds us of the lack of mutual responsibility in such a way; these are your assumptions. We cause all the problems with our increased egoism, not by not participating in mutual guarantee. Do not think of the Creator’s governance in this way.

We have a system of self–management in our hands, partially of course, but still in our hands, and therefore we must be fully oriented toward the Creator.

But in no case claim that because I am not in mutual responsibility a brick fell on my head. No, don’t do that. Otherwise, you will wander off into very bad philosophies.

Question: These quotes seem to say that God does not give direct answers to straightforward questions. He does not say: “Take it, please.” He says: “No, you have to do it yourself.” Is this our work?

Answer: Yes, this is our work.

Question: So does He constantly give us work? He does not give us direct gifts, right?

Answer: He specifically created obstacles for us. After all, egoism is the main obstacle.

Comment: Here a person asks to be freed from pain. Is pain necessary.

My Response: Yes, of course! If there were no pain, you cannot imagine what we could do!

Comment: But when I am in pain, I naturally ask: “Free me from pain!”

My Response: That is exactly what is needed—for you to feel the pain and ask.

Question: Is this called rising above the pain?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is it possible to reach a state where one does not feel pain at all?

Answer: If you could foresee and know in advance how to act, you would not act in a way that causes pain.

Question: So is it possible to rise above the pain somehow?

Answer: I think that through internal efforts a person can rise above all illnesses.

Answer: They must feel it. If they do not feel it, they should perform actions characteristic of a righteous person, see whether they can actually carry them out, and ask the Creator for help.

A righteous is someone who wishes to justify the Creator in all His actions. They may not yet be fully capable of justifying Him, but they already have the desire to do so to some extent. A person cannot immediately feel oneself as righteous; he always starts from the opposite state, as wicked.

You must clearly feel what you receive from the Creator, what your desires and intentions are, and where they are directed, and you will feel yourself to be even more wicked and only wish to receive for your own sake.

Question: What do we do with the wicked within us?

Answer: We wish to turn them into righteous.

Answer: Yes, that can happen.

Answer: No, it is impossible to hide from the Creator. Ask that He reveals Himself to us and brings us closer to Him—that, we must do. So let us ask for this.

Answer: The true desire to be in union with the Creator is the willingness to give absolutely everything for it. Check that you do not have a greater desire than this.

Answer: It is each person’s desire.

Question: How do you bring your desire to this state? After all, it seems unnatural for a healthy person.

Question: It is written that “He who comes to purify is aided.” What does it mean that I am ready to purify myself? How can I check this?

Answer: It means that you wish to bestow and you feel that you cannot do so since you only have the desire to receive, to somehow benefit from bestowal. That is what you see in your desires, and you begin to turn to the Creator, and ask and beg Him to correct you. Then, the Creator gradually begins to do so.

Question: Why does this happen multiple times?

Answer: Because the desires to receive or to bestow are very large. They encompass all of Malchut of the world of infinity. Thus, we must repeatedly attempt to correct our desires from receiving to bestowal.
