A Teacher Is Just Below God

504Question: Who is today’s teacher?

Answer: A person who teaches our children to read and write.

Question: Is this what should be expected of a teacher to teach today?

Answer: I don’t see any teacher teaching anything else.

Question: What would you like a teacher to teach?

Answer: It should be a different question. If I want a teacher to teach something else, society has to be different and parents have to be different. They should know what children lack and need to learn in life, and so, parents should also educate them. A teacher is a public representative who should educate the public, the new generation, correctly.

Question: What should a teacher’s salary be?

Answer: It should be the highest possible. No other profession is more important than teaching.

Question: And compared to a doctor?

Answer: A doctor is less. A doctor cares for the body while a teacher helps students develop their soul.

Question: How should parents relate to teachers?

Answer: With respect. A teacher is just below God because he teaches us how to relate to God. A teacher is a guide, he is the one who opens and teaches about the correct attitude to society, to life and death, to everything. A teacher is actually the representative of the upper force here in this world.

Disabilities

962.3Question: What will make a disabled person feel equal?

Answer: We are not equal to begin with. None of us is equal to anyone else. It is only in the connection between us that we can reach a state in which we complement each other until we reach a state in which we assemble by ourselves a system of one man.

Question: If we gave an example of the right connection in Israel and integrate disabled people in the community, in society, at work, and everywhere, and give the feeling of equality above all the differences, would that be a kind of light unto the nations of the world?

Answer: Yes, if we did that disabled people would feel that they are on a special mission, an upper mission, that they ascend above their disability, and thus would be able to see real life. I believe that this is what they lack, that we should complete them with a soul through which they can reach a perfect world and not feel that they are missing anything.

Finding Balance In Inequality

959Question: We are all aware that there is inequality and that we are not equal to each other. Yet we constantly compare ourselves to others and measure what we are worth compared to others, which leads to great suffering. There isn’t a person who is not frustrated by something or anyone who thinks that he is the best in everything, since eventually there is always something that makes us feel bad.

Why do we do that?

Answer: We want to be at least like everyone else, not more than them.

Our nature pushes us to do that, and it seems that it is right. The only question is how to fulfill the call of nature that makes me want to be more. If I fulfill this correctly for the sake of others, I will probably have no conflicts with others and they will accept me and I will have something to be proud of without feeling any shame or being criticized, etc.

This means that everything depends on a person’s positive attitude to others.

The Advantage Of Psychology Over Philosophy

265Comment: Baal HaSulam in his article “Science of Kabbalah and Philosophy” welcomes empirical psychology in which everything can be measured and rejoices that the period of philosophy has passed because it studies abstract concepts such as God, the soul, and so on.

In particular, he writes: “The time of philosophers has passed, and the power of those who adhere to philosophical concepts has ended. For this, we should thank the researchers of empirical psychology, which built its foundation on the ruins of philosophy and won public opinion.

“Everyone already recognizes the insignificance of philosophy since it is not built on a real basis. That is why we are grateful to empirical psychology, which dealt a crushing blow to philosophy.”

My Response: We can learn about people, their behavior, everything that lends itself to our measurements, but we cannot rise above this. Empirical psychology still gives us the opportunity to exist on some real basis, while philosophy is just bare words.

962.3Who does Society Need to Aim at?

Baal HaSulam, “Peace in the World“: But in truth, the naturally strong and nimble in society benefit from the labor of others and exploit them maliciously against the attribute of truth, for they labor very little compared to the weak and lazy in society.

Question: Why is it bad to be a strong, nimble, quick person who takes initiative? After all, progress and development take place thanks to such people and not the weak and lazy.

Answer: I do not consider progress being that people work many hours a day and also oblige others to work so many hours. Such “smart,” strong, vigilant people gather together and connect easily. And the majority is weak and lazy and it is hard for them to do so.

Baal HaSulam says that in principle society should not place the strong and clever ones at the top because they set a standard of work and success that others cannot match and as a result they feel disappointed.

Eventually, they are considered to be losers. But they are not really so, they are ordinary people. Therefore, society should focus on average people and not on successful ones. Just like in a family. I cannot punish my son for not being a genius or a great sportsman. Each one has his own abilities. I need to simply enable him to develop correctly, and then, it is his business.

Question: Does the fact that there is a big gap between rich and poor today, a gap that is ever growing, indicate that we have lost direction?

Answer: Of course. Entrepreneurs inflate society with unattainable goals, and they artificially make these goals unachievable for others. It turns out, eventually they get to keep everything.

Unified Social System

278.03In the article “The Last Generation,” Baal HaSulam writes about a future world in which there will be no states, only one social system, you can call it communist from the word “commune,” social equality.

There will be no equalization, pressure, or artificially imposed relationships with each other. People will simply understand and feel everything because the upper world will be revealed to them. With the help of Kabbalah, they will discover it for themselves and see that if they live in good relations, it will be good for them too.

For example, I cannot hurt myself by jumping from a height of five-meters or sticking my hand into a fire because I can see clearly the damage I would be doing to myself. Similarly, if the global system of our interconnection is revealed to us, then of course I will not harm other people because I will see how it comes right back to me.

I just need to see the system of our complete internal communication, and then in no case will I wish harm to someone or strive to gain a better fortune at the expense of others, because by doing this I will hurt myself much more than I think I will gain. This is how the system of our relationship works, only it is not visible to us. We need to reveal it.

The science of Kabbalah allows us to do this. Then we will not need any teachings, philosophies, political sciences, formations, no abstruse stuff. We just need to reveal the system of connection between us that exists in nature. That is when we will act correctly among ourselves, like good kids.

546.03In Contradiction to the Category of Truth

Baal HaSulam “Peace in the World“: One person in the society labors in one hour of work, due to his weakness, much more than another who works two hours or more.

And there is also a psychological matter here, since he who is very lazy by nature exhausts himself in one hour more than his friend in two hours or more. According to the perspective of the evident truth, we should not compel one part of society to labor more than the other part for the satisfaction of the needs of their lives. But in truth, the naturally strong and nimble in society benefit from the labor of others and exploit them maliciously against the attribute of truth, for they labor very little compared to the weak and lazy in society.

The problem is that a strong and clever individual exploits society when he works fewer hours. If he is hardworking and diligent, he does not make deep internal and moral efforts to do the same work as the weak and lazy individual does.

For example, a child comes to school to learn and sits quietly for five hours straight because he finds what the teacher says interesting. Next to him, there is a restless kid who cannot sit still for even ten minutes. He practically explodes and does not know what to do.

How can we expect the same efforts from both of them? They are different by nature. Who is going to measure this? It is like this throughout our life.

Another example is a person who does not forget to buy his wife a bouquet of flowers every week, while another individual’s only desire is to go fishing, but their wives expect the same thing. The fisherman’s wife doesn’t take into account that it will be a great effort for him even if he buys her flowers once a month, while for the other, it is no big deal and he does it automatically.

How can we demand the same thing from both of them if they are different by nature?

The Real Truth

546.03Question: The concept of truth is different in the spiritual world and in our world. Each one has their own truth in our world. How should we unite the concept of truth in our world and get closer to the spiritual truth?

Answer: If you cut off the concept of truth from yourself and accept the truth in others, it will help you detach yourself from yourself.

You will then be able to reach the level of Hesed, which means to relate to others at least as you relate to yourself.

Then you will move on to the level of righteousness, which is about everyone being equal, identical, and everyone needing only basic necessities according to their individual state. Eventually, you will reach truth again, and it will be the real truth.

The Secret Of Universal Equality

600.02Question: What is equality between people?

Answer: If we build a society in such a way that a person will have satisfaction from it: “I did it, and everyone sees it, everyone knows, everyone understands and thanks me,” then there is no greater pleasure for that person. He will be ready to work from morning till night. It is only necessary to properly build a chain of public relations.

There will be no equality ever and there is no need. It is not programmed by nature. It does not exist in the animal pack either. What equality exists there? There is a leader, followed by a pair of males helping him, and all the others trail behind. Equality is not programmed by nature. Equality is leveling, it is death.

Comment: But you say that the last generation should be built on the principles of equality.

My Response: Equality means that everyone has an equal right to realize themselves according to their natural abilities and capabilities. Everyone should have equality in realization, in the opportunity to express themselves.

Let us say I was born in a family of rich, strong people, and someone was born in a family of weak, poor people. It does not matter. There should be equality in the opportunity to move forward and not in the fact that everyone was trimmed to the same size.

The next stage will really be like this. When a person begins to receive only spiritual reward and this will be enough for him, when he realizes that for a normal existence he does not need more than what his animal body requires and everything else will be revealed to him as a spiritual reward, a connection with a higher power, with eternity, harmony, and perfection, then the people themselves will consciously cease to be interested in some kind of earthly rewards.

They will not need any medals, no extra money, nothing, and all the rewards will be spiritual because the connection with the Creator will be opened before them.

The Life Of The Future Generation

278.03Question: How can we convey information about the integral force and integral society to the kind of people who do not need spiritual work as such, but nevertheless, will exist in the society of the future?

Answer: I am sure that humanity will be divided into tens because this is the optimal form of teaching and uniting people. Thus, all people will be provided with integral education and will be able to perceive nature through the ten on the principle of loving your neighbor as yourself.

This is the principle not just of good relationships, but of changing everyone’s perception of the world. Therefore, all people will be able to understand what kind of world they are in, in which nature is one single system. Today we talk about it theoretically, but in practice, we do not feel it this way because everyone lives in their own egoistic individuality.

Just as there are people in the material world who are engaged in the theory of information and control and those who work in simple jobs and do not know anything about it, so there will be people who are interested in understanding the upper system of governance and the global integral nature in general.

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that all of mankind will gradually pass through the stage of rising to the correct perception of reality. Then we will be able to really build our life in accordance with how we will perceive it. This will be the life of the corrected generation where we all understand our existence as an integral whole in an integral nature and will build our lives in accordance with it.

Moreover, this life will be completely different from the material one because at the same time we will perceive a different reality beyond time, space, and any egoistic restrictions that dictate our reality to us today.
