Jewish Calendar

740.01At present, the preparation of all mankind for the final correction of all religions is taking place. Islam is the right line, Christianity is the left line, and Judaism is the middle line.

In accordance with this, they make up their calendars. Islam has a lunar calendar, Christianity has a solar calendar, and the Jews have a generalized one: both lunar and solar.

Therefore, everyone has a problem with calendars, except the Jews. The Jewish calendar was created several thousand years ago with no amendments since then! Absolutely! There are no leap year additions, new time, old time, nothing!

It is based on the movements of the moon and the sun and is calculated to the nearest second. There were such great Kabbalists as Yehuda Ha-Nasi who compiled this calendar even before the collapse of the Temple. We have been using it since then.

On a Mental Level

627.1Question: Why are the three religions Christianity, Islam, and Judaism considered the main ones?

Answer: Because they symbolize the three lines. All other beliefs accompany them and are included in them. They clearly do not come from the state where the soul was whole and then shattered into pieces.

I do not even want to delve into it and engage in comparative analysis. For what? This all is ending anyway.

Comment: Buddhism also plays a big role in the lives of many people. They see it as a religion.

My Response: This is a philosophy of life, a mentality, not a religion. It is impossible to be a Buddhist if you are not a Buddhist by birth. This is the inner, mental structure of a person.

Moving Away from the Automatic Fulfillment of the Commandments

533.02All the laws of Judaism are based on corrections that occur in the soul because there are 613 desires in the soul that we must correct to altruistic ones, to love one’s neighbor.

In our world, there are 613 actions called Mitzvot that you can perform automatically, without any intentions. But at the same time you seem to be in some kind of mechanical, closed, and artificially created space. It is holding you.

The people of Israel kept this everyday life for 2,000 years until our time. And now it is starting to change, specifically fading into the background. Over the past 200 years, people have become less and less religious in order to be able to accept the Kabbalistic point of view.

The Psychology of Complacency

571.01Comment: When a person begins to study Kabbalah, he goes through various stages including one when he is fanatical about what he is doing.

My Response: He is like a little child because little children are fanatical too. The child gets used to his pacifier, to his chair, to his rag, or toy, and he cannot tear himself away from them. This is a sense of security, confidence, belonging, and a sense of something that he lacks, i.e., a purely psychological help.

Why is he holding on to all these external objects and external customs so much? From the point of view of psychology, they mean a lot to him. Look, people wear a red thread on their arm. Is it good or bad? It just helps them calm down a little and gives them confidence that everything will be all right.

On the other hand, this, of course, prevents them from moving forward to become a grown-up person and not remain a small child who depends on a red thread. This is a lie, as are, in principle, all other psychological practices.

The Difference Between Kabbalah and Sufism

583.04Comment: There is a principle that a student should be a rag at his teacher’s feet.

My Response: Firstly, that was not said by me. Secondly, it is not a rag, but “ashes at the teacher’s feet,” that is, dust.

I remember meeting in England with a great Sufi of the world, an Iranian, a very wise old man. He told me: “If you want to be my disciple, you must come here and serve me completely. So that you love me as you love yourself.”

This is absolutely true! Sufis have the same system as Kabbalah. In principle, it comes from the same source, from Abraham. Therefore Sufis have been engaged in spiritual things for centuries.

Question: Why does Sufism not provide a method of correction?

Answer: Because it does not have three lines of development.

Sufism cannot develop through egoism since only the right line predominates in it. It seems to exist in the same plane. The left line cannot develop at all and attain the spiritual world even a little because it is a single egoism.

Kabbalah is the middle line, which uses both forces, right and left. Therefore a person can grow. We see what state of continuous inner evolution we are in.

Question: Is there any danger that the Kabbalistic method may descend to the lowest trifles?

Answer: No, the Kabbalistic method does not descend. It becomes common, popular, and universal! It comes out of its hiding place and is revealed to everyone!

When Desire Awakens

276.02Comment: There are methods where people sit for ten days, are silent, and meditate. They think that by doing this they are purified.

My Response: Yes, their egoism still enjoys it and sees its fulfillment in it for each egoistic level.  Egoism is constantly developing in us; it has its own content, and its own idea of life and of the world. Filling is life.

When a child is little, he or she is interested in children’s toys, as it grows up it is interested in other things, and as an adult, he thinks so until he comes to a state when it is the revelation, sensation, and explicit attainment of the higher world, the upper force, the Creator becomes vital need for him. Only in this way, only in this, nothing else!

And then a person really feels: “Something must be done! But what?” And then he is drawn to the right place. He finds himself in some field, his soul pulls somewhere here, he suddenly types some word, some website, hears some name from someone. And so, it immediately begins to navigate.

And before that, his desire did not capture these coordinates. He didn’t see the link to the right place, the right direction.

Question: Who gives it to him?

Answer: His inner desire. Of all the information that exists, this desire begins to swell in him, and he sees: “This is what I want to see, this is what I want to hear, something was said there.”

Question: That is, some system from above turns on and awakens him?

Answer: Of course! Not by himself. So, it is said that he is brought to a group, to books, to a teacher. And then he begins to understand what it means to work independently.

Spirituality

294.4Question: What is spirituality?

Answer: Spirituality is floating in the quality of bestowal and love.

But in the understanding of an ordinary person, spirituality is films, paintings, and music. On the corporeal level, that is what is being called spirituality.

Question: But since the sixties of the last century, people have gone on all sorts of searches for the spiritual. For example, the Beatles went to India for this, someone else went somewhere else, etc. But were they really looking? Or was it just a trend?

Answer: What else could they do? Nothing. What could spoiled boys from England find? They were searching, of course. A little bit of drugs, a little bit of something else. Their producers were also like that; they died of an overdose.

Question: So they reached the maximum fulfillment of desire within the usual framework. That is, at that time were they fully content in all corporeal desires?

Answer: We think so. On the corporeal level, this is not possible. The more you receive, the more empty you feel. So what if I have everything I want? What is next? I stay inside myself— alone. This is what drew them to India and other places.

Question: Now there are a lot of people who are looking for spirituality. Why can they find the answer specifically in Kabbalah?

Answer: They cannot find anything in it either because they have not grown to that level yet. Their questions remain at the level of new age, mysticism, and meditation: “Show me some posture so that I can meditate.”

I have been to places where there are huge closed communities that do nothing but sit in a circle.

Moreover, these are modern American boys and girls who completely deny earthly life and sexual relations. They need only a modest meal, and the rest of the time they sit and meditate in the mountains, in North Carolina.

I do not understand this at all, but they see spirituality this way.

If There Is No Point in the Heart

294.2Question: What is the difference between the method of Kabbalah and other methods? You say that in other methods there is no way to draw light.

Answer: It is not that they do not have the ability to draw light. If a person does not have a point in his heart, there is no basis for the development of his soul, so there is no way to prove or show something to him. He will not be able to discover by himself to know which method suits them and which does not. Therefore, people advance through trial and error.

We are constantly getting confused in this life, inventing something, believing that we exist in some kind of reality and for the sake of it. Then, if a point in the heart arises in someone, this person comes to Kabbalah and begins, from this point, to build a correct perception of reality in himself.

There are not many such people. To date, there are hundreds of thousands of them, maybe even a couple of million along with those who are interested and those who are on the periphery. But this is a very limited number of people.

All the others, who do not have the embryo of the real state, cannot develop it. They live like the billions of people in the feeling of this world that cannot really create a picture of the next level for themselves. They just exist in this world.

But what can they do? Gradually, under the influence of suffering, they will begin to feel their insufficiency and will join those who have a picture of the upper world. In this way, everyone will enter this picture because they will be connected by their desires.

Pray to Whom?

236.01Question: You often repeat: “Why don’t you ask?” But how should we ask? Everyone wants to, but no one understands what they want. Is it some kind of stupid state of hopelessness.

Answer: But why?! Because you do not sense whom to turn to. I understand your problems and I want to direct you correctly.

You do not know whom to turn to. If some kind of a statue were placed in front of you, you would be able to do it.

Once, when I was in Mexico, our bus stopped in a parking lot near a village. There was a statue of the Madonna at the crossroad.

There were many Mexicans among the passengers. People got off the bus. One lame Mexican with a wooden crutch, who had difficulty getting off the bus, approached the Madonna, kissed her, and began to pray. There was something for him to turn to, there was a specific image.

And there are no images in Kabbalah! To what should you turn? To your own corrected self!

Who is the Creator? The property of bestowal and love for others revealed by you.

Kabbalah turns you to yourself. It is impossible for us to understand it! In our minds, this is a terrible dualism, and we cannot do anything about it.

Therefore, Kabbalah is intended only for those who already have this dualism inside them: there is a heart and a point in the heart, i.e., a selfish desire and a germ of altruistic intention. With this, you can move forward and begin to adapt and develop it.

The heart develops, and a point in the heart grows. In other words, two opposite desires develop; there is a dipole that can exchange and grow.

And if there is only a single desire to enjoy, then we need to imagine someone from the outside, not within oneself, but one against the other, and establish one as higher and the other lower, as if this is a created being and this is the Creator.

All this is conditional; there is no creation and no Creator. There are two levels one against the other, and that is it.

And where are you? You are nobody. You exist between these two levels, what we call the middle point of Sefirat Tifferet, Klipat Noga. You exist at this point only in order to realize both levels between which you exist. This is how you develop.

But if there is only one earthly desire in a person, his life, his loved ones, and so on, then he needs some kind of external object to which he will pray, to which he will turn, and on which he will supposedly depend.

In principle, Kabbalah itself sets people up this way. It still comes from ancient Babylon, from Abraham, who gave everyone what they needed: the beginnings of all religions, the beginnings of all beliefs, and the beginnings of Kabbalah. In practice, this is a single knowledge only at different levels.

Blind Faith or Attainment?

168In religions everything is based on simple faith, and in Kabbalah it is based on attainment.

In Kabbalah, faith above reason is the revelation of the Creator in the light of Hassadim. Hasidism, however, took from this only the name “Hasidism.” But in the Kabbalistic understanding, they do not have faith.

Faith is the revelation of the quality of Bina. Their faith is when you close your eyes and say: “I believe.” But when you close your eyes, what can you believe if you do not see anything? In fact, faith is a vision, not a concealment.

Therefore, Kabbalah is a method of revealing the Creator to the created beings in our world. Revelation! It is the opposite of any Hasidism or anything else. Initially, in the 16th and 17th centuries, when Hasidism appeared, it really was a Kabbalistic trend. Today it is just constantly growing egoism that conceals the truth from a person.

However, another flip is taking place now. I hope that the unfolding sufferings, the unfolding new desires, the increasingly unfolding limitation of our existence, the beginning of the revelation of the meaning of life, and the possibility of overcoming all crises will all work together, and people will easily and slowly begin to come close to the method of revealing the Creator because without it, it will be very difficult for them to live.

This is what the Creator does, and we have to help Him.
