Answer: We have to give birth to our first connection in the desert. This spiritual birth is the first revelation of our connection in the upper system, like a person who is born into the world, into the spiritual world.

Do you know when a person reaches the first level? When he is told: “You won’t get anything” and he is happy about it. So I don’t understand what disappointment is. The spiritual ascent is above all human disappointments; it is a spiritual attainment. You should be happy that you don’t have anything, and what is more, that the others have received everything and you haven’t. This is called being at the entrance to the first level.

You do not need to regret and worry about the thoughts and feelings that are rapidly changing in our minds and hearts. It is just the form clothed in matter, and let it clothe! What is important is what we seek. That is, we need to change and continue to improve our intentions rather than fighting with the thoughts and desires themselves.

Therefore it is vital to minimize blaming oneself. And it’s that easy; the upper Light keeps working on us, knocking us off the path. But we must keep returning to the correct intention, as it is written: “Israel, the Torah, and the Creator are one.”

This is how you maintain where the intention is aimed. But the action, thought, or desire doesn’t need your attention; on the contrary, rise above them as if you don’t check what your actions, desires, and thoughts currently are at all. Just make sure that they are aimed away from you, through the group, toward connecting with it, so that with the help of Light that Reforms you achieve adhesion with the Creator and delight Him by doing so.

If a person constantly directs and aims himself in this direction, which is called the intention, then all these words: “I,” “through the group,” “in connection with the group,” “the Light that Reforms,” and “revealing the Creator to bestow pleasure to Him” start forming a certain sensation in the person, a condition formed by this one sentence.

At that point, everything gets easier. Although the hardening of the heart still occurs afterward, as well in order to make a person work at a greater depth, with higher quality concepts, he is already walking in the right direction. This means don’t focus on your thoughts because we are not free there; they are dictated to us by our selfish heart. Think only about your intention.

Question: At what new degree should we aim before the conventions?

Answer: Our goal is to exit from ourselves, above ourselves.

By getting closer together, we begin to feel how much this pushes us away, how we withdraw into ourselves and cannot let ourselves be close to make a step forward. The state of revealed rejection, the inability to come closer is the real egoism.

Egoism is not the feeling that we experience in daily life: at home, at work, in communication with people. That is small animal egoism unrelated to the ego we must correct.

We need to correct precisely that egoism that appears during our attempts to become close to each other. Our job is to act against it.

Moreover, in each successive action, egoism pushes us away more and more, and this certain amount of pressure on it and the rejection lead a person to a state of despair. And if a person does not abandon the attempts to continue to act against it, taking part in all the events, he starts to realize that help can come only from Above, only if a special force comes because he is not able to do this himself.

Of course, it is impossible to say in advance, “I am not able to do anything, let someone help me.” To do this, in fact, you need to reach a state of despair. But this only happens when you have put every effort, filled the so-called measure seah (“seah” is an ancient unit of measure) and still have reached nothing. Suppose, you have filled the entire “bag” or “glass” with your efforts, and then at the very top, at the last step you feel: “That’s all! Only from Above can I get help, only that will help me.” It is the moment when a person has an opportunity to ask, and he gets help.

The entire world exists so that we will understand that we need to transfer ourselves to the side of the Creator. Outside of ourselves, we discover the real world. Then it will be clear that this world was made like an intention aimed at me, like a special theatrical performance where I need to be until I understand that all of this is only a show, that it is like a dream from which I need to awaken and begin to develop outside of. There I will find my real self, in a completely different state, in an eternal and complete state. It is to this state that we must enter.

And our world doesn’t get lost; it will always continue with its theatrical show, but I will already understand the reason why each time I am given a new action. And each time I will rise above this action, higher and higher, in a denser and denser manner with the other things, until I finish all the work in this world, until the general unity above it is in complete connection. And that will be our Gmar Tikkun (the final correction)—one, united spiritual woman.

Question: What prayer should come from a unified woman?

Question: What state does a person go through at the lowest point of the descent and what is he supposed to do then? What is our mistake?

Answer: If I fall to the bottom of the descent, then at this lowest critical point I cannot do anything by myself. It is as if I am neutralized by all the Light that operates on me.

The Light operates on me during all the phases of my development (the Surrounding Light 1), and under its influence I descend. Its action leads to my descent by adding a corrupt desire to me. Eventually I find myself at the lowest point in which I cannot do anything. There are no means by which I can ascend; I am under the total influence of the ego.

But the moment I begin to rise, at least a bit, thanks to the gap between the new state and the state I was in, I already have to do something independently. I rise to the first state with the help of the group, but thanks to the level I rose to, I now have to start doing something by myself: to raise MAN, a prayer, a request, to exert myself. I have to draw the Light by myself in order to start its influence according to my invitation and not through someone else.

I cannot wake up and pull myself out of the lowest place independently and without help: “A prisoner cannot rescue himself from prison.” But the moment I rise a bit with the help of the friends, I can already carry on by myself. I am not a prisoner that is chained down anymore! I have a friend who helps me on the outside to get out of this pit.

But if after I have been helped to rise a bit, I am too lazy and don’t exert myself, if I don’t immediately turn to the Light that Reforms, but wait and rise simply with the current of time, with the help of the environment, then I don’t draw upon myself new spiritual powers.

The moment I get an opportunity, I immediately have to start working by myself. Otherwise the Creator will help me get out of the pit once or twice and then leave me since I don’t do anything on my own. He sends me help: through the group, through the friends, in different ways, but if I don’t respond to it enough, He leaves me.

It turns out that He has to add evil and sufferings down below where I fell, different corporeal problems, so that I will finally understand that I have no choice and that I have to rise. I understand that it is worthwhile to exert myself a little and to advance for the lowest corporeal reasons. I will try to escape from corporeality to spirituality because I feel bad in my ordinary life.

In that case I don’t rise by drawing the Light that Reforms but because of ordinary animal sufferings.

Question: How can I correctly prepare for the women’s convention?

Answer: First, we should review the materials that relate to women’s work.

Basically, in our time, there is not much difference between men’s and women’s work because a gradual convergence is taking place. We see how the women of the world occupy leadership positions, are heads of state, ministers, and managers of various companies. Today, they are equally involved with men in all the spheres of activity.

Although women are inherently more inclined to something specific, standard, stable, and not the activities that constantly demand drastic changes, the time has come when both desires—male and female—come together in our world and in the spiritual world. This occurs in accordance with the spiritual roots, and thus it is necessary to think how to bring them together even closer. This is what we are going to be engaged in at the convention: The women must understand the goal before them.

Never before have women become united together. We had all sorts of attempts to unite in groups, during general conventions, but there wasn’t such a convention to make the desire of all the women as one woman’s desire, to create a unified image of women’s desire.

Our real existence develops in the desire and only in it. There is nothing but that. But, besides the desire and the picture that it creates in our feelings, I was given another temporary imaginary picture, an imaginary addition in the form of a physical body that is in a corporeal world. This reality doesn’t actually exist, but now it helps me be in an illusion of existence. When a real urge to use my initial desire will be revealed in me, I will approach it.

One way or another, everything takes place in the desire, with the physical body that is simply an “animal” that has no freewill and is not required to do any work. This body is an opportunity to approach the real work in the desire and not more than that. The picture that is depicted by my corporeal senses is the imaginary world.

This is why philosophical approaches and other methods of sophistry are so far from the truth. It is because they take the body into account, its actions and its imaginary potential, allegedly raising it above the animal level.

Now I have only bodily desires that create the illusion of the existence of a live body. As a result, I have to take care of the body of this desire, to guard it, and to provide it with different things. This corporeal desire lives and dies.

Besides that I have a point in the heart (•). I develop it by connecting with all the other points in order to attain love, and then in contrast to it, I feel aversion and hate. Then from zero to 100%, according to my exertion, I begin to develop the real ego inside me, the spiritual desire to receive. This happens when I enter the group, the right environment.

Until then, I only have an “animal” and a point in the heart that may have appeared. There are people who remain in the system of the body with the point for a long time. Even if they study with the friends but don’t involve love, the group, and don’t keep the first condition (1), they don’t reach the second stage, the feeling of hatred (2). The point only stimulates them a little. Later when they start the real work with the group, they leave the previous system and move on to a new system, which becomes the only important thing for them. Everything that happens with the bodily desires is totally irrelevant. It should be satisfied with the basic necessities and not ask for more.

We build a group among us, a network, and fill it with our mutual bestowal. On the whole this exertion is our desire to bestow upon one another. We raise a request (MAN) for correction, and in response the Surrounding Light comes and corrects and connects us, and then provides the filling, which is called the soul.

The main thing is actually the transition from one system to another. This is the difference between philosophy and religions from one side and the wisdom of Kabbalah on the other.

Question: How should I respond to the influence of the environment on my thoughts and feelings in order to focus on the goal?

Answer: I have to see the Creator and not people in the influence of the environment on me. When this happens, it will be possible to speak about my response. It is the first condition and the most important one, and afterward it is much easier. Of course there are difficult accounts expected later on too, but first I have to reveal whom I have this account with!

The account is only with Him, and there is none else besides Him. He influences me through all the people that surround me, through the whole world and even through me internally. He doesn’t influence my animal body but my point in the heart.

Everything that happens in my body, in all my desires, everything that I feel inside me and on the outside, everything that happens from people who are close to me or who are distant, from friends and from strangers, is all aimed at my point in the heart through the different circles around me; it is all the Creator’s influence on me.

All the influences come from the most external circle; the Surrounding Light comes to me through different filters, getting closer and closer to me: through the upper worlds, through this world, through humanity, the group, the teacher, and finally through the innermost sphere, through my ego, the so-called “heart.” But all this is the Creator’s influence aimed only at the innermost “point in the heart.”

Everything else is not taken into account, since the Light only needs this spiritual spark in which it wants to receive a response from me—that I should reach it.

First, I have come to the decision that everything that I receive from the inside and from the outside doesn’t matter, no matter what. I have to locate only that single inner point, and everything else is just a bridge, a passage, from the Creator to me.
