How Can We Strengthen the Tens?

528.01How can we strengthen the tens? I believe this can only be achieved through mutual study and mutual work.

Mutual study means connecting to the lesson, discussing it among yourselves, and creating a common field in which everyone works together.

But the most important thing is collective dissemination. When you write, process, and translate materials, and post them in various sources, you create a connection among you. In this way, the Creator relates to you as one organism.

Help Everyone Draw Closer to Bestowal

939.01To become a partner with the Creator in the desire to bestow to others means that a person wishes to reach a state where they do everything to help people attain the quality of bestowal, that is, to transform their inherent egoistic desires into altruistic ones.

Therefore, the correct daily implementation of the connection between the ten and the Creator involves our striving to help everyone in the world draw closer to the quality of bestowal, to connection with others, and to collective correction.

Question: What should the ten hear from the Creator once they are connected?

Answer: They should hear how exalted the Creator is in His thoughts, how all-powerful He is in His actions, and how His actions influence everyone.

What Does the Wisdom of Kabbalah Do?

632.4Question: How can we tell people about the wisdom of Kabbalah without mentioning this word? How can we explain the importance of uniting and the importance of connection between us?

Answer: We observe this in the nature around us; it is one single mechanism and all  parts of it are completely interconnected. This can be seen in examples of ecology, climate, and everything that exists around us. Only the human being breaks this relationship. I think everyone will agree with this.

In nature, there is a single force called the Creator that unites everything. We must reveal it. It can be revealed only to the degree to which we will be capable of sensing the entire integral system. The Creator is pushing us toward that. He causes all problems in the world so we would unwillingly want to attain Him.

Precisely in our time, we must reveal Kabbalah. The gathering of tens is the shortest path to the attainment of the Creator in the minimal degree inside every ten. In this mini-laboratory we begin to study Him.

After that, as a result of our spiritual development, we will be able to attain the entire system of nature and its governance. The wisdom of Kabbalah is engaged in the study and revelation of the common force of nature, the Creator.

Spiritual Work and Dissemination

963.4Question: Should dissemination be separate from spiritual work?

Answer: Dissemination is a very important part of spiritual work. But the thing is that there are people who deal with it directly and there are those who work with it indirectly.

For example, in our world group, there are people responsible for electronics, for accounting, or for something else. This is also dissemination; it relates to our spiritual work, and it is impossible to do without it.

Kabbalists write about this everywhere because our goal is to correct the entire Kli of Adam.

The Whole Spiritual Heritage Is Before Us

961.2Question: How can we correctly build a chain of connection from our unity through you with Rabash, Baal HaSulam, and all the great Kabbalists?

Answer: Through prayer.

Question: Is the connection with the Creator and the connection with the great teachers throughout the generations the same?

Answer: No, first, there is connection with the great teachers and through them with the Creator.

Question: The generation of the ARI  before Baal HaSulam and Rabash is considered the last generation. Does that mean that we are not waiting for anyone else?

Answer: Actually, we do not have to wait for anyone. Everything the Kabbalists revealed in the past lies before us. We can use all this to rise together to the Creator and achieve the highest state through it.

Don’t Interfere with the Creator Taking Care of Us

944Question: Is our task not to try to solve anything ourselves but to once again ask the Creator to come closer to us and thereby accept any of His decisions?

Answer: Our work comes down to the fact that we want to be connected to the Creator, to adhere to Him, and that is it. After all, any other action would always be incomplete and imperfect except for the one that leads us to adhere to the Creator.

Therefore, we need to think about it, which is the easiest thing because we should not interfere with the Creator’s care for us.

Question: How do we interfere with Him taking care of us?

Answer: Perhaps with your wrong requests.

We must always strive to be as close to each other as possible, to help each other as much as possible, and to imagine as much as possible that we are in a continuous and great connection with each other. And to the extent of the quality of this connection, we can reveal the Creator. Attaining the Creator is our most significant task—something that the world lacks so much.

As a result, we will reveal the Creator to the whole world and thereby give Him maximum pleasure, since His property of good that does good is revealed to both sinners and righteous. Then the entire world Kli will be filled with the light of the Creator.

On the Basis of Kabbalistic Methodology

294.1They are all savages, and there is no tactic they will accept unless through religion (Baal HaSulam, The Writings of the Last Generation).

Question: Baal HaSulam calls egoists (people who think only of themselves) savages. How can the Kabbalistic methodology change egoists into altruists?

Answer: This is only possible if we start to attract people to us with all sorts of enticements. Otherwise, I can not imagine what else could be done to make every person feel that by approaching an altruistic society, they are entering a zone of absolute confidence, peace, calm, and can live no matter the conditions because everything will be balanced for them.

Question: And yet, what is the unique feature in the Kabbalistic methodology such that it can lead to an ideal society?

Answer: It must be understood that attracting people to the society of the last generation means attracting them to the correct similarity to nature. Therefore a person will feel that he has suddenly entered a state where he is in harmony with the surrounding world, with problems of weather, health, and everything. All of this will begin to approach a normal state.

The Specifics of Kabbalistic Writings

541Baal HaSulam was a very private man, a man of his narrow circle. European culture was clearly manifested in it. This is even evident in his music, which had a prevalence of the Eastern European, Polish melodies, with some Italian accent.

He is very specific in his presentation. Even when he talks about science, Kabbalah, and everything in general, his expression and style are based on knowledge of the deep layer of the Talmud, the Mishna, the Prophets, holy writings, and the Torah.

For example, sometimes he mentions a few words and at the same time casually refers to some source. If a person catches this, he understands the subject right away and perceives the text in a different way.

For example, sometimes even in our conversations we say that “Love covers all transgressions.”

However, in Kabbalah we mean that this phrase is from the Psalms of David, and at the same time we understand what kind of sins they are, what kind of transgressions they are, what kind of attitude a person has toward a person when he hates the other and is ready to destroy him. In the end when he moves to the state of love for the other, then all those so-called previous transgressions and the previous hatred on the contrary support the love he has achieved.

It means that this phrase includes such a huge layer, the order of states that one has to go through in order to say “Love covers all transgressions.” Without that it is just a nice phrase.

Another example is: “I have washed my feet, how can I rise from my bed?” Who knows what it is talking about?

This is a passage from Song of Songs. From the Kabbalistic point of view, Malchut says my “Reglaim” (legs), meaning the end of the Partzuf, the Kelim, the desires that receive the entire Light of Hochma are already up above. I am in the horizontal position, meaning I have already washed and cleaned my limbs, my final states. I cannot use them anymore.

How can I rise now also from this state “to embrace you, my Darling?” meaning to connect with Zeir Anpin in the receiving desires when I already annulled them. This is how the soul of a person, i.e., his desires, speaks with regard to the connection with the Creator.

It means that a multitude of various states, conditions, and interpretations of what is happening are implied here. This is a very serious system of relations. This is how it is said “How can I rise to you, Darling, open the door, since I already washed my feet and lied on my bed?”

Phrases like this can also talk about anything: a rider and his horse, a donkey and his driver, etc. Therefore, we need to adapt all of this to today’s generation that does not understand or know anything, and after all, has not heard about the existence of the Song of Songs, or even of the Psalms of David, or other sources.

We have to show them a short path. We do not have time to study all these sources even though they talk about pure Kabbalah. However, they speak in an allegorical way, while we have to bring a person directly to the revelation of the upper world. This is the reason we create our own media sources.

Mutual Guarantee on a Sensory Level

243.04Question: What is a mutual guarantee in a person’s internal perception on a sensory level?

Answer: It means that you pray to attain mutual guarantee together with your friends, and in response, you receive the revelation of this quality from the Creator.

Question: I feel that I want to connect with the friends, but it may harm them. I realize I will not unite with them because I fear my egoistic influence on them. Is that part of the calculation and part of the mutual guarantee?

Answer: Partially, yes.

Question: How can I progress from this state?

Answer: Ask the Creator for the feeling of how you might harm your friend, and then you will see what to do next.
