Question: How can we combine two lines in our work: wholeness (gratitude) and deficiency (Hissaron)?

Answer: It is through connection with the upper degree. On one side there is the upper degree, and on the other, you, the lower degree; make your connection with it as close as possible.

That is done through prayer on the level of feelings. You do not even need words; you simply enter a state where you want to draw closer to the upper.

Question: You mentioned the Psalms. I also love them, but I am not sure if they are the state of the left or right line.

Answer: For us, they are the middle line. Even if you can identify right or left lines in the Psalms, for our level, they represent the middle line, which is higher than us.

Question: Is it possible to see or feel that another person has done inner work within themselves?

Answer: Usually this is felt not just from inner work, but also through external signs: how you connect with others and how you participate in lessons and various events. It shows.

Question: Is your group the joy and adornments gifted to you by the Creator?

Answer: Ultimately that is exactly what it comes down to. If you think that way, then you are doing well.

Question: It is said that a person in prayer is in the Creator’s palace, close to Him. Upon receiving an answer to the prayer, he leaves that palace. Does this mean that in prayer, we seek not the answer but the prayer itself?

Answer: In prayer, request, and response we always seek to stay connected with the Creator.

Question: Are the adornments the corrected desires of my friends? Can this be taken as a basis for our work?

Answer: Absolutely. That is elevation, where you exalt specific qualities and they are considered the adornment of the entire group.

Question: What fulfillment do we ask for during our ascent toward the Creator?

Answer: We ask the Creator to fill us with light, which will correct us and draw us closer to the Creator to the extent that we feel included in Him, and through our connection with the Creator, we will adhere to Him and feel what He feels.

Question: How can we become included in His feelings?

Answer: Ask for it. How He will do it, we do not know. Perhaps we will find out later, but for now, just ask.

Question: Does a Kabbalist become included in the Creator and feel His mood and sensations?

Answer: Yes.

Answer: Just as you understand what is good for you, think about what is good for others.

Question: What is the ultimate result of realizing a desire for the benefit of another in their feelings?

Answer: That you wish only good for them.

Question: Should they feel this good in my desire to bring them pleasure?

Answer: What they should feel, I don’t know. But in principle, they will feel something from it.

Question: When and under what conditions does darkness become a true Kli?

Answer: If the desires are not directed toward self-enjoyment, then they become a true Kli.

Question: Why is a person willing to remain in the shadow of the Creator? What is the true work and enjoyment in this?

Answer: A person is willing to remain in the shadow of the Creator when one doesn’t want to add even more persistence acquiring the spiritual desire to bestow, to bring pleasure to others, or to help someone. Since this does not manifest in one, a person remains in the same place as before.

The Creator deliberately creates such conditions for us so that we put in a little more effort, a little more striving, and then we will draw closer to Him.

Comment: The Creator gives us false clothing so that we can choose true ones. But we cannot give up some of our animalistic pleasures: food, sex, family, sleep, and so on.

My Response: We should not give them up. We simply need to rise above them, and that is all.

Question: What about the other desires related to society, like money, power, knowledge, and fame?

Answer: They too are given to us so that we can sort through them, take what is necessary, and prioritize spiritual pleasures over all others.

Question: If we once enjoyed something false and then something more true begins to reveal itself, can we return to the false clothing? Is that allowed?

Answer: No, it is not allowed. This is neither in the desires nor in the plans of the Creator.

Answer: Shadow is called concealment. If you cover up the Creator, meaning you do not wish to attract Him, then this is how you advance toward His revelation.

Question: Do we become closer to the Creator when we perceive our corporeal world as a temporary dwelling?

Answer: Certainly, without a doubt.

Question: When we listen to the sources, the mind tries to interpret them in its own way, translating them into a language it understands. Should we stop and try to feel the text as it is?

Answer: First listen to what the mind says before rejecting it. Then start thinking about how to bring it into a more suitable form.

Question: During the holidays of Rosh HaShanah and Sukkot, are there any special lights at work?

Answer: Yes, these are special opportunities, special lights.

Question: What are the vessels (Kelim) of the ten that are ready to receive the light of the Torah?

Answer: When we connect with each other and wish to come closer ourselves to the desires of the Creator, we reveal within ourselves such qualities that explain to us what spiritual desires mean. Then we draw closer and closer to these desires through our own qualities.

The collective spiritual desire of the ten is the desire in which they want to exist in order to bring contentment to the Creator.

Question: The Creator gives us absolutely everything today: the conditions, the environment, and the opportunity to act. I do whatever I can, but in the end, I realize that I am not truly ready to ask the Creator. It is as if I do not want to give Him space to work with me and bring me closer to Him. How can I avoid forgetting that I need to make room for the Creator?

Answer: This is an exercise in constantly thinking about the greatness of the Creator, His uniqueness, and the fact that only He is above us and connects us with everything in the world.

We must continuously hold on to Him, always asking like a child who clings to an adult and persistently demands attention. Eventually the adult gives in.

We must pray to the Creator to reveal unity to us in everything. Then we will feel how interconnected we are, that each person defines the state of everyone else, and that there is no distance between us.

Draw closer to one another as tightly as possible, and from that connection turn to the Creator.
