Question: Are there any well-known scientists today who assert in their research that the upper force exists?

Answer: There are many such scientists. We are in contact with them and try to show how, through research of nature and research of the inner world of man, we come to the same result: that there is an upper force above us with certain properties, which apparently has a specific purpose in relation to us, and we should check our reactions with this.

And what is happening to us now is happening because we do not have the correct connection with this force and because we do not comply with the laws established by it in nature.

Today there are enough people in the world with education, titles, and status both in society and in science who can state this in a way that it can be heard.

And on the other hand, we who are engaged in the science of Kabbalah can add to everything they have said. We can add confirmation from Kabbalah to all their discoveries in quantum physics, in the study of biological forms of life, or in the study of the psychological nature of man. Kabbalah explains why this happens at all levels of nature: still, vegetative, animate. Kabbalah adds explanations together with them, and in opposition to them. In this way, we clarify things to such an extent that they will be easy and convincing for the general public.

This is from the human side. But from the side of the upper force, since we still do not fulfill its will, we are of course facing even worse states ahead. For it is known that blows purify a person, and then he becomes sensitive enough to understand and hear that these blows depend on something he does not understand and for which he does not see a reason. And since he wants to get rid of them, he will want to find the cause even though it is hidden.

Thus we come to a certain stage where we explain, together with scientists and with specialists who will actually be able to present our explanation, the “means to avoid blows.” On the other hand, society is already in a state where it wants to hear: “It does not matter what the solution is; just give it!” It is like a sick person who demands medicine just to get rid of the problem. This process is very rational.

Question: Where is the boundary between the fact that I must make efforts and the moment when I can no longer do anything but remain silent and wait? How can this be felt practically?

Answer: Where is this boundary? A person must feel it themselves. There are no instructions based on instruments or indicators.

The spiritual space consists only of the forces that are revealed to us. And we must navigate it in such a way that we always feel we can rely on the one, main force of the Creator on one side, and on the egoistic force on our side, which we deny in its use and wish, as much as possible, to combine with the Creator’s force of bestowal.

Question: What is the difference, from an internal point of view, between the people of Israel and the Land of Israel? What do these definitions mean?

Answer: There is no difference! The people of Israel and the Land of Israel are both attributes of Bina. Both are necessary. We currently lack the attribute of Bina in the Land of Israel because there is no sanctity of the land, and there is no holiness of the land because the people of Israel do not dwell in holiness.

We must reach the correction of GE, that is, zero Aviut, the first and second degrees, as it were, Bina, and that will mean that internally we have entered the Land of Israel. Then we will also enter the Land of Israel externally because externally we will have the strength to be here and no foreign force will be able to invade us.

How did Moses defeat many nations? How did the Romans or Greeks defeat us when they came here? Every war boils down to one question: on whose side is the spiritual advantage—ours or theirs?

If we want to remain here, as Baal HaSulam writes in the article “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” then we have no choice, in our life here today, in the Land of Israel, we must attain the attribute of “the Land of Israel.” Without this, we have no right to be here! That is why Baal HaSulam writes that if we fail to achieve this, only a handful of people may be left of us. The rest will be overtaken by the Arabs, and we will not be able to live here.

Answer: Disturbances are carried out under the influence of the Creator. He deliberately evokes them within us because they compel us to connect with one another and to clarify why we have such qualities, where they come from, what the purpose of creation is, and how we can draw our friends into the ten.

Question: Could you explain how the place where we raise a prayer is connected to the strength of that prayer? Yesterday, a part of our group went to Radun, and we prayed at the grave of a righteous person. Everyone felt the power of that prayer.

Answer: That is exactly how it should be. First of all, it is a special place. And second, it is because you genuinely wanted it. At that moment, you felt that your desires were aligning. They did not contradict each other, but rather complemented one another.

If you continue to act this way with regard to all your desires, then you will form such a unified desire that it will surely have an impact on the Creator.

Question: Is our only choice intention?

Answer: Of course, an intention is called action.

Question: The intention can be either for the sake of receiving or for the sake of giving. But when it is for the sake of receiving, you receive blows. So how can we choose a direction?

Answer: Our choice is not to go in the right direction, but to strengthen ourselves and go in the right direction not with the help of blows, but due to importance.

Sooner or later, you will go in that direction. You are making progress today too, but each time it is because of blows. There is another possibility, to advance with the help of increasing importance.

What is the purpose of creation? To delight the creations. What should the creation do? Achieve the purpose of creation. That is, for the Creator, the goal is to please His creations, and you must come to the same point. When will you get to this point? When your attitude is the same: “to delight His creations.” It is very simple!

Those people agreed to unite into a single group that engages in love of friends is that each of them feels that they have one desire that can unite all their views, so as to receive the strength of love of others. There is a famous maxim by our sages, “As their faces differ, their views differ” (RABASH, “Make for Yourself a Rav and Buy Yourself a Friend – 2“).

Question: In the first part of this passage, it is written that at first their faces do not look like each other, and then they work on loving their friend. Does friends’ love of others also differ from person to person?

Answer: Yes, it is different. The fact is, our relations with each other also differ. I treat one person one way, another differently, and another in a new way. All this is in order to be connected with friends and merge together into one common desire.

Question: Does each friend have their own feeling about the common desire, or is it something general?

Answer: At first, this is everyone’s personal desire, and then it gradually connects with other desires, becomes more general, until all desires turn into one.

Question: Is the connection with the Creator that we can hold on to the result of our prayer for a Hissaron (deficiency)? Or does it happen even before the prayer? Where exactly is the connection with the Creator?

Answer: We can hold on to it even before the prayer. If we do not let our Hissaron fall, meaning, we do not let it be forgotten, and we stay constantly connected to it, then we will be able to reach it and realize it.

Question: It is said that our Hissaron depends on how much we feel the loss caused by the absence of the desire to bestow. But if we have never had that desire, how can we feel such a loss?

Answer: If you want to feel the Hissaron, to work on it, to restore the desire to bestow, then you will begin to feel that loss. You will awaken within yourself a desire to bestow and will want to realize it.
