Question: In The Study of the Ten Sefirot, Baal HaSulam writes that the authors tried to use all the words of our world to designate and explain some upper roots. What does “upper and lower roots” mean?

Answer: The point is that Kabbalists describe the states that they themselves experienced because they acquired new possibilities of sensation. Therefore, they narrate them in such a way that it is as close as possible to us and we can somehow imagine them.

In fact, it is impossible to imagine these substances and objects, maybe just approximately. There is a desire that is fulfilled with what it desires. This state—desire and fulfillment together—is called the upper world, that is, that which exists as the first phase of creation.

Question: If we promote such heroes will we be able to push a person to some meaning of life and perhaps even correct the ecological system of the world? What do you think?

Answer: This is certainly great! Unbelievable!

Question: So, are you for promoting such people?

Answer: Of course!

Comment: Naturally, they received help, but they organized it all. Millions of trees have been planted. It is even shown there in pictures, a barren area of Brazil and suddenly after 20 years, everything is overgrown with trees and plants, birds came back, animals came, and life returned. They are so happy and the husband and wife stand together and hugging.

My Response: Of course!

Question: Does it mean that there is still something good in man?

Answer: Somewhere far and deep, but there is.

Question: How can we extract it?

Answer: By somehow demonstrating that the world is not without good people. Do you want to be like them? And so on.

Question: Are you in favor of such promotions after all?

Answer: Of course! Nature really needs our sensible attitude to it.

Question: What goal should a person have? Is the goal to get out of my personal drought in this way?

Answer: Certainly. Absolutely it is only that way! It really helps.

Question: That is, if this good becomes the meaning of life, right?

Answer: It changes a person.

Question: Very often disagreements arise between several friends in a group, sometimes even of a purely corporeal nature. Is it possible for a person to insure against this?

Answer: No. Not in any way! We need to increase disagreements. A person will have the strength to overcome them if he has a strong ten that will hold him and secure him like climbers secure themselves. But all the same, he will always fall into an egoistic abyss.

If the group does not break up and holds on, it will pull him up, it will help, and he will again get hold of the goal with his teeth and pull himself out. The ten helps, but it cannot work instead of him. It gives the importance of the goal and throws the end of the rope: “Please, be strong,” and he has to pull himself up on his own.

But it happens that everything is in your hands, just latch the carabiner! But the friend does not want to tie himself to the others because that is it: “They will drag me, and I will no longer be able to detach myself.” He cannot. Here, latch the carabiner—but no! And he will move away, tangentially, on his own. There is a special trajectory along which a person moves away from the group: along a parabola, gradually, not abruptly.

He begins to be interested in some other similar things to be fulfilled with money, fame, power, knowledge; he is under some other stronger influence. In general, this is a problem.

But the crisis that is developing around helps a lot. People have nowhere to go, they begin to understand that we  are talking serious business, that we are sober, normal, rational people, that we actually know nature, both man and the world around us, and that we are not mystics, but, on the contrary, realists. And they see they are the mystics.

In the end, they will see: “No matter how much we despise them, hate them, and are ready to crumble and grind them, it turns out that they are right.” And they will have to agree.

Question: How did it happen that people were able to carry accurate time throughout history? We know exactly how many thousands of years have passed since this or that event. How was it measured?

Answer: In Judaism, it is measured very simply and there is no problem with this! But when you look at some other dimensions, let’s say, some city is a 100, 600, or 1,000 years-old, then in Judaism this is not the time because the calculation comes from Adam almost 6,000 years ago. We know absolutely everything that happened on what dates: great people, great events, and everything else.

If we take what is written in our books and remove all the world philosophical and historical sources that historians and philosophers came up with by pulling them out of their heads without any reason, but simply because they think so, then you can see that everything is known and everything it is clear: who existed, at what time, and so on.

If you open Wikipedia, you will see how much is twisted there because everyone wants to say something in their own way: “This is what I think.” It turns out to be such an accumulation of all sorts of absurdities and conclusions that no one can sort out anything here.

I hope that when humanity begins to understand a little from within itself of what the truth is and will determine by the smell that this is true and this is not, then it will simply begin cleaning everything up! Then it will see that everything is clear and everything is understandable.

“We found the Qumran manuscripts and now we understand that the Bible is right!” or something else. But who are you anyway?! The chronicle has been kept for 6,000 years. Why are you with your conclusions climbing to the heights of the sages?! It seems so ridiculous.

All this is a blind human pride: nothing more than, “I want to have my say!” There is nothing new in the world, everything is described and everything is measured. We know everything that happened and on what dates.

It is written, “And there was morning, and there was evening, the first day.” That is all. Sunday is the first day and it is called so. From that day all the measurement started. Measurement of what? The period when humanity began to approach the next stage, to become humans. Before that, there was the development of inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels.

This is how all historical dates and processes are calculated. Why are they not measured by our clocks and rotation around the Sun and the Earth? Because none of this exists. All this is within us! There is no sun, no moon, no earth—nothing. These are our inner feelings.

Soon we will rise to the next stage of development and all past sensations will disappear. This whole cosmos, with everything that I now feel, will suddenly begin to move away as if in a fog, will leave my sensations until it ceases to exist at all. That is all. It also does not exist now. All matter is given to us in our sensations.

Michael Laitman, On Quora: “Could the Large Hadron Collider reveal the secrets of the universe?“

These expensive toys will not let us solve the universe’s deepest secrets, because they do not research in the same dimension as the force that controls the universe.

We do not find the force controlling us, the universe and nature through physical means. We find the force controlling us by making ourselves equal to it.

If we invert our egoistic nature to its opposite—altruism—then we equalize our nature with the source quality of the universe itself, and we would then better understand the universe.

The inner force of the universe, of nature, is called “the Creator” or “the upper force.” This force is a quality of love and bestowal. Equalizing our qualities with nature’s means applying such a quality to ourselves. We would then know the secrets of the universe, i.e. we would understand how nature thinks, its desires, thoughts and actions. It is written about such a state, “From Your actions we will know You.”

We do not need to accelerate particles to discover the secrets of the universe. What we need to accelerate are our own thoughts, desires and intentions toward each other, so that they would connect, and then in their collision—where we aim to love above the hatred, and to unite to each other above our divisive drives—then those tendencies would collide and connect. Then, we would see the universe’s secrets internally, emotionally and boundlessly between people.

My new article on Linkedin “We Could Be Looking at Another Wave”

It may not seem like it now, but I have a feeling that we are headed for another wave of Covid. The story with Covid is not over yet; in about two months, around November, we will see another wave of Covid in Israel and probably around the world, and vaccinations will not stop it.

I am writing this because I feel that it will be a bigger blow than before. Since we learned nothing from the previous wave, other than to mock the virus, it will come to us in a new and more aggressive form, and there will be bigger problems than before. I have not been privy to some secret scientific information to support it, but this is how I feel—that another wave is due.

The first thing that the next wave will teach us is that we learned nothing from the previous ones. We did not draw the right conclusions from the previous states; we did not look for a new antidote for Covid, so it will return in order to make us learn.

As with the previous waves, the only way to truly overcome Covid is through our connection. I realize that connection among people seems irrelevant to our success in fighting against Covid, but regardless of our opinion, there is no other solution.

I have no doubt that we will spend many more billions of dollars on medical “solutions” around the world, and many more people will die, but we will still not get rid of Covid. We will not be rid of it because we are still not ready for connection.

Nevertheless, nature will not let up. It will teach us to connect even if we do not want to learn how. If we are aware of nature’s “intention,” we will learn more quickly. If we ignore it and insist on remaining self-absorbed and self-indulgent, nature will take longer to teach us and the lessons will be more painful, but it will ultimately defeat us and we will agree to connect.

Once nature has purified selfishness from our hearts so we cannot harbor bad thoughts about each other, the air will be clear of harm-doers such as viruses. We will extract selfishness from within us when we realize that the only medicine for our blows is connection and closeness of hearts among all people.

Nature is out of balance. Unimaginable phenomena occur in the world. Poisonous rains fall all over the world, terrible droughts occur, and the most interesting thing is that there is no explanation for this. It just happens that way, for no reason.

Therefore, we need to understand that the reason is in us, in people! It is us who are out of balance, and by this we cause the still, vegetative, and animate nature to be out of balance.

Let us hope that this imbalance will not result in world war and that we will be able to put this process in the right direction toward correction. After all, it is not someone alone who is to blame here, but all of us, all of humanity. We can say that some nations are more to blame and others less, but we are all out of balance and cause imbalance in all of humanity and in all of nature.

The main thing is that everyone should understand where this imbalance comes from. The fact is that the natural process of development leads us to closer connection with each other. We all see how connected the world is becoming, how the ties between different countries and nations are strengthening, not only in industry and trade, but we are also getting closer to each other on the internal level.

And at the same time, our connection is incorrect. Trade and industrial ties do not benefit us because they were created with egoistic intentions, form a desire to make money using each other. Therefore, they do not add connection to our world but only reveal our disconnection even more.

But we do not understand it. It seems to us that if we trade all over the world and can agree with each other, then this leads to connection. But no, it only accelerates the awareness of separation.

We need to understand that we require a genuine connection and above all, an awareness in the mind and feelings that we all depend on each other. There is no person in the world who would be free not to make good connections with all the inhabitants of the world. Our whole future depends on how much we understand that only good relations can improve our whole life, and nothing else.

The most powerful weapon is a person’s desire because it is at the height of the Creator. If we want good relations and harmony, to be like one person in a sense of mutual guarantee, then of course everything will get better in the world.

Everyone should feel their connection with everyone else, realizing that we are all together as one humanity, one desire, and one soul in search of one root. And if we all reach for this one root, then everything comes into balance and harmony and there will be no shortage of anything.

Everyone should feel like an inseparable part of the whole world. Humanity is already ready for this. People even in the most remote parts of the planet are ready to feel and accept this idea of universal dependence on each other. The blows of nature that we now feel on ourselves are enough to understand how dependent we are on it and that only nature can help us.

Nature has ways of influencing a person through his belly, children, and everything that is dear to him. In this way, you can very quickly convey to his consciousness that he is obliged to be connected with others for the sake of saving himself and his loved ones.

My Response: The fact is that they had instinctive connections with each other; they lived according to their own laws. But animals also have their own laws. These laws are correct, natural, and innate. Animals spare each other and are under the power of these laws; the laws govern them.

Question: But did people feel as we do now that there are “me and others”? Or did they think it was all inside them?

Answer: They didn’t think. The animal does not think. It is controlled. His life is called instinct.
