Questions about Spiritual Work—167
Question: Can we ask for elevated spiritual things even if we are not yet similar to the Creator?
Answer: The thing is that when you engage in this, you draw upon yourself the upper light, which corrects and elevates you.
Question: Can it be said that a vessel of bestowal is compassion, which can attract the light of Hassadim and can the light of Hochma be received in a vessel of compassion?
Answer: No, that is impossible. These are entirely different levels of desire. Level two is a vessel of bestowal. Level four is a vessel of reception.
Question: Eternity is adhesion. It is written in TES that if there were no line (Kav), creation would be merged with infinity. Why must the light enter through the Kav step by step and gradually?
Answer: This is necessary for the development of creation so that it becomes similar to the Creator and capable of receiving the light from Him and then giving the light back, thus becoming equal to the Creator. So, gradually, we will begin to perceive all of this correctly.
Question: Is there a difference between organizing a common desire in a ten, a group, or all of Bnei Baruch? Is it one vessel or different vessels?
Answer: These are similar vessels, but it all depends on the number of units in each vessel—whether a ten, a group, or a global vessel. There is, of course, a difference.
