Answer: No, if a person climbs the steps of one’s attainment, that is, the steps of the spiritual ladder, then all one’s efforts are also on it, and a person rises precisely thanks to them.
It is as if the person solves problems, like in school during lessons: one solves a problem, goes up to the next level, solves another one, and goes up another level. This is how it happens.
