Question: Why is it that in spirituality the pleasure from the light is felt in the Peh, n the mouth, and not in the stomach?

Answer: Because the most important thing for us is to be able to stop the passage of light, to feel, determine, and evaluate it before receiving it.

Only after we have decided what we are receiving can we “chew” the light like food in our mouth, using our 32 teeth, tongue, and saliva, and allow this food to fill and be absorbed into us. In Kabbalah, this is studied in great detail.
