Man is the center of nature, its crown jewel. His role is to make it so Nature reaches absolute harmony. #Florida #Irma

As we develop, our ego increases. The world reflects our internal state. As we start cleansing ourselves, nature will self-cleanse #Florida

The world doesn’t need billions of people, but they’re needed 4 uniting into system of ADAM, as general correction needs many participants.

All natural and social #disasters happen to force mankind to rise to the next evolutionary degree–the spiritual degree.

In his untamed #ego, man only thinks about how to subdue nature instead of how to subdue himself…

The ways and laws of #nature are absolute: if we don’t make ourselves integrally connected, nature does it to us by force & suffering.

#BDS, antizionism: the Jewish people have no right to their own state #Kabbalah: Jews are only a people if united, then they merit a state.

#Trump cannot cleanse the US for his voters, or give them jobs/status. But there is work for all: to learn to unify into one nation.

#World at a crossroad: destroy billions of redundant ppl or unite them to a system the Creator can fulfill? The Latter is compulsory

#September11 we are now an integral society where one law dominates: “it’s not the strong who wins, but he who’s connected to others”

Is #humanity ready to reform itself as it’s ready to reform the world? Will it take medicine to unite people if such medicine appears?

#Nature’s integral law: the PARTICULAR = the COLLECTIVE – means a minor disruption impacts the whole system, and the result is tremendous

Why Is The Creator So Cruel?

Laitman_049.01Question: Why is the Creator so cruel?

Answer: I completely understand you. I would have thought that too, but the Creator is not cruel. When His loving attitude toward us is experienced in our egoism, it feels completely opposite to us.

I remember in childhood when my mother scolded me about low grades or something else. It caused her a great deal of anxiety and emotional distress, but she was expressing absolute kindness toward me even though I perceived it as cruelty.

The Creator is the altruistic quality of nature. But to the degree that we behave inversely compared to Him, we feel diametrically opposite to this kindness; that is, we feel bad, as though we are living in a bad world.

But He is not doing anything bad. He relates to us with complete benevolence, and we, relative to this, see ourselves and our world as completely evil. We do not need to blame Him or ourselves for this.

Question: But how does this kindness that comes from Him express itself as acts of violence in our world?

Answer: All this we do ourselves. People, with their egoism, make this world seem bad. The Creator gave us egoism and also gave us the possibility to correct it. He spurs us toward correction. We see what is happening in the world.

Comment: But He gives an ordinary person tremendous obstacles, creating terrible evil that is impossible to justify.

My Response: I completely agree. But when a person begins to become aware of everything that the Creator did for him, he stops blaming Him for anything. Then the opposite occurs and tremendous gratitude arises from within him.

But, for now, a person does not understand, similar to when he was a child and he did not understand why his parents were yelling at him.

You Will See The Future World In Your Lifetime

Laitman_198.jpgTorah, Deuteronomy 28:45: All these curses will befall you, pursuing you and overtaking you to destroy you because you did not obey the Lord, your God, to observe His commandments and statutes which He commanded you.

The person is being slowly annihilated until he comes to the realization that all that the Creator requires of him is the similarity to Him, that is, performing all the actions for the benefit of others, not for oneself.

Torah, Deuteronomy 28:46 – 28:47: And they will be as a sign and a wonder, upon you and your offspring, forever, because you did not serve the Lord, your God, with happiness and with gladness of heart, when [you had an] abundance of everything.

At one time, we were briefly given the state of “abundance of everything,” but we learned nothing from it. Egoism prevailed and the people of Israel fell from the level of bestowal, love, and connection among them, plunged once again into an internecine war and this ended their history in the land of Israel.

The fall was terrible. People killed each other while fighting among themselves. Some were fighting for being spiritually pure and for doing everything only for the sake of bestowal and mutual love. Others did not understand them, believing that they simply steal from them by depriving them of a comfortable egoistic life. Therefore, the war was conducted at all levels, both spiritual and material.

The sages, seeing that the people could not keep the commandments in the way they were given in order to live in similarity to the Creator, gradually permitted them to perform them mechanically in the external form.

People began to believe that this was the realization of the Creator’s commandments. This is how the Judaism appeared that exists in this framework until now.

The wars gradually ceased, and the Jews received an opportunity to live in the state of exile and the simultaneous external mechanical keeping of the commandments, although, in fact, the commandments imply step-by-step correction of egoism in 613 of its particular desires up to the level of love your neighbor as yourself.

However, when the people transformed them into ordinary physical actions, then it became possible for every egoist who fell from the spiritual level to consider that by this he is fulfilling the Creator’s Commandments and can be called “the people of Israel.”

Let’s assume that ablution of the hands symbolizes purification of desires from the egoistic intention because hands represent a person’s desires. Dipping into the water means washing away all of egoism. Bestowing to others is exiting yourself. Yet people, by performing all this and sharing something with others, believe that they are doing noble deeds. That is, all the spiritual commandments turned into various actions of our world.

People began to believe that for this they were entitled to the future world after death. However, this is not so. It is written in the Torah, “You shall see your world in your lifetime.”

It means that if you follow the orders of the Torah correctly, then you immediately attain the upper world, where you act through your soul.
You perceive the new world through the correct inner feelings, that is, through the forces of bestowal and love and the general force that is called the Creator, which is revealed to you.

The Universe Is Within A Person

laitman_739Question: Why did the Creator create so many stars? Or is this only an illusion? What are the limits of the universe?

Answer: 60 years ago, when I was a student, I had learned that the universe is boundless, that it was not created, and, rather, that it had appeared a countless number of years ago and that time was also infinite.

Today, scientists have reached the conclusion that both the universe and time are limited, but this information is not useful to us at all; these are all kinds of hypotheses and nothing more. Suddenly, galaxies were discovered in relation to them; the space that we had discovered earlier has become like a small point and, therefore, involvement with research like this is absolutely useless.

Astronomers, cosmologists, and many other scientists are involved with mathematical calculations regarding the system of the universe, yet, in fact, they do not understand or know anything serious about this system.

Question: Why have more and more galaxies been discovered by people? How is this information useful?

Answer: The information gives us a feeling of desire that constantly expands and within which we feel the external world. In the “Introduction to The Book of Zohar,” it is said that everything we feel outside of us is actually found within us. That is how it is arranged so that we will be able to understand the structure of the creation that is found within us.

I do not feel what is found within me. In contrast, everything that spreads out beyond me apparently “fell” out from me. Therefore, I can already discern it and learn from it because it is far from me and seems to exist without any connection to me. An illusion is created for me–that it is not mine–and, therefore, I can relate to it more objectively than if it were inside of me.

Question: Does the discovery of an infinite universe reflect the infinity that is discovered within me?

Answer: Certainly. My inner desire to grow reveals the seemingly expanding universe.

Question: Does this mean that a Kabbalist can look within himself and say, “This star is my desire”?

Answer: That is precisely accurate; it is exactly the way we talk about the sun, the moon, the Earth, and all the planets in the solar system. For example, a Kabbalist can discover a “moon” within himself, which is the characteristic of Binah, the characteristic of bestowal that illuminates through the Ohr Hozer (Reflected Light) from the sun. The sun is the characteristic of Keter, and the Earth is the characteristic of Malchut. We cannot determine these characteristics within us because everything is found outside of us so that we can determine and learn from them, but, in fact, we are learning about ourselves.

Question: What does this give a person? After all, people have been looking at the sun and the moon for thousands of years and were unable to determine that these celestial bodies embody the characteristics of bestowal and reception found within them.

Answer: They had no need for this knowledge and therefore they did not understand it, but if people begin to discover these characteristics within themselves, they will discern–through their connection with the objects of the solar and spatial system–that these objects actually embody a tremendous number of the desires found within them.

Question: This is saying that of the billions of stars, each one of them is a particular desire. Is there a name for every desire as there is for every star?

Answer: Yes. For example, the Hochma of Keter of Binah, etc. is a very long phrase that precisely determines the name of a particular desire.

Question: How does a Kabbalist discover these desires within himself and what does he do with them?

Answer: A Kabbalist needs to do only one thing with the desires: gather them together and attribute them to the Creator. He does not need to work with every separate desire. Our correction is very simple. I do not need to change myself or my desires but only my intention or how I use myself. Therefore, I do not pay attention to my desires; it is not important to me what they are. Rather, only my intention regarding the Creator is important and that depends upon the importance I attribute to the Creator within me. Therefore, the main thing is to develop the image of the Creator within my eyes.

Question: Which is to say that desires arise and float up by themselves and it is only up to me to relate to them with the right intention?

Answer: Yes, certainly. But this already depends on the group, on the study, and how ready you are for them arise and float up within you.
