Today, humanity is discovering that it cannot control its circumstances and that it has nothing by which to manage the world. A special force is being revealed in the world; that of an integral connection between people. This force connects everyone into a single system in which we are not able to exist within our egoism.

The new laws of mutual participation and universal interrelation are being revealed, and our current egoistic sciences which were developed by man are not able to provide an explanation of such laws. As a result, humanity today is in a state of despair and does not see a way out; such is the state of the world.

Although a few of us might think that the crisis has passed, the reality is that it is only getting worse. The science of Kabbalah can gradually be revealed once we find ourselves at the dead end, which we are fast approaching.

The most important thing is that when people start suffering and encountering problems, they are able to correctly realize that their state is a result of a process that has been years in the making.  Egoistic desire is what develops humanity, pushes it forward, and develops the sciences.

This desire results in the destruction of all previous systems and leads to a collective failure in all areas of human activity. A person must understand that he has no hope for the future if he continues to use his egoism. On the other hand, we have reached a level of connection that obliges us to come to terms with others, and to even come to love of others.

All of this must be explained gradually, in the same manner that a person is taught about the world he lives in during the first 20 years of his life. Today, even the most powerful and wise person must come to know what world he lives in, what lies ahead and what habits he must acquire for life in the new world. This applies to every person inhabiting the Earth. We are in a new situation, and in relation to all previous development, this state is final and even irreversible. However, we now have the opportunity for a different kind of development.

A question I received: What are Godly deeds and goodness?
My Answer: This is the goodness that fills the world that is discovered in my corrected desires. Even at this moment, I am surrounded by the world of Infinity filled with absolute goodness, but I have no ability to feel it.

Godly goodness is what I discover in place of the evil that I sense today. My egoism is constantly growing and by this it shows me that everything is bad. It shows me two opposites: the Light and that same Light in the form of darkness. This is how one feels the Light in this world, since he is opposite to bestowal.

The stronger the Light works on me, the harder and darker life seems to be. This is because I am opposite to it. The Light that is revealed relative to all souls and not only relative to me, shows me that everything that happens to me depends on the whole world.

This is why the world doesn’t understand why all of a sudden it experiences stagnation and inactivity. Subconsciously, a person feels that he depends on everyone. So, how should he act? He must be able to scrutinize when he bestows and when he receives. But the revelation of our global connection blurs the desire to receive and renders us helpless. If I am told that I am to complete some work and receive payment for it, this I understand. But I cannot work without a reward!

The difficulty here is that as the connection between us appears, the Light will increasingly reveal itself. We will feel its influence as increased darkness and crisis. But if we begin to play the game of bestowal with each other, we will be corrected. The science of Kabbalah, even as a game, will unite humanity in mutual bestowal with the source which will correct us. As a result, we will indeed find ourselves in a corrected state.

Kabbalah is the method for revealing the Creator to a person (see Baal HaSulam’s article, “The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah”).

Regardless of the fact that the science of Kabbalah was hidden from humanity over the course of thousands of years, by manifesting itself through sciences and social relations in an opposite, egoistic form, it prepared humanity for perceiving it (Kabbalah) as a necessary method in order for everyone to achieve a perfect existence.

However, under the influence of his natural desires and his natural mind, a person must first realize the erroneous course of his independent development. Precisely by moving through the stages of technological, scientific, religious, and social development, and becoming disappointed with them, a person gains the ability to understand the Upper wisdom and mind (higher than those given to him naturally). Having gone through all the methods and realizing their limitations and inability to correct the world, a person comes to reject them and chooses Kabbalah as the only true method of his development.

The reason for such a path of development is related to how the Creator is concealed from a person in order to give him an opportunity to develop on his own and realize the truth. In the same manner that the Creator is concealed in our surroundings, Kabbalah, the method to reveal Him, is concealed in the sciences of our world.

Similar to the development of sciences that lead to the revelation of the science of Kabbalah hidden within them, human development in our world leads to the revelation of the Creator. A person reveals our world through science, and later, with the help of Kabbalah, he reveals the Creator.

Therefore, just as the Creator’s concealment is the cause of all our misfortunes and suffering, to the same extent the concealment of Kabbalah is the reason for all of our suffering.

The science of Kabbalah is the method of revealing the Upper Light, the Light of Hochma which is revealed in the Light of Hassadim (the quality of bestowal) in the corrected egoistic desires. However, the penetration of a considerably weak emanation of Hochma directly into egoistic desires without first being clothed into the Light of Hassadim, gives rise to the sciences of our world.

Since the Light of Hochma that descends into our world (some revelation of the Creator in the sciences of our world, in egoistic desires), descends from revelation of the Creator in the Upper world (the clothing of the Light of Hochma in the Light of Hassadim), it is clear that all the discoveries of Nature that descend into our world are no more than a lesser revelation of the Creator in the science of Kabbalah in the Upper world.

In other words, a very insignificant portion of the truth descends to the sciences of our world from the science of Kabbalah, which is the Upper root of the corporeal sciences, in the same way that our whole world receives only the “Ner Dakik” (a spark of Light) of the Upper Light.

However, specifically from below upwards, meaning from the sciences of our world, can we come to the science of Kabbalah. This is the reason for the revival of all the sciences and, hence, the preparation of the world for revelation of the Creator.

When the knowledge about the science of Kabbalah reached the nations of the world, it stimulated the development of the world and, at the same time, caused great damage. Until this time, Kabbalah had only been revealed to special chosen individuals among the people of Israel. Once it was revealed to the world however, people began to egoistically attain the system of the construction of the universe, to study the laws of Nature and to brutally exploit Nature and their neighbors in order to use them for their own interests.

This has led to all the destruction that has occurred and continues to occur in the world, in spite of the fact that Kabbalists hid the science of Kabbalah.  It still remains so concealed that a person who is not ready for it is incapable of understanding anything in the books of Kabbalah. One must first correct his qualities into bestowal and love for his neighbor, and only then will the great forces of Nature be revealed to him.

However, over the span of mankind’s search for knowledge, we obtained and were able to use the ordinary sciences to learn about the external forces of Nature. This led to technological development, which we see has obviously been to our own detriment.

As a result, we see that the entire development of the whole world, built by us throughout all of human history, has not been to our benefit, since it has served only our egoism. All the knowledge that we have received about Nature, all the laws and examples that we attained and tried to implement for our own benefit, turned against us in the end. This has been a cumulative process that has led us to the global universal crisis that is occurring on all the levels of Nature and in all areas of human activity.

Everything that human beings have done for thousands of years in history is today being revealed as evil. It is as though we are drawing a line between the entire former development of human civilization and the present. From this point on, we must honestly tally up everything we have done and decide how we should develop in the future.

It turns out that the direction of our future development is quite simple. After all, if all our knowledge about the laws of Nature and all our sciences, have proven to only bring us harm because we had turned them into a servant for our egoism, then let’s turn everything around! If we use science and all our knowledge on the good path, truly for the benefit of humanity, it will become our helper and bring us genuine prosperity. We will no longer destroy Nature, our environment, and ourselves, putting ourselves in danger of self-destruction. On the contrary, we will rise to a completely new level.

We use the forces of Nature and its examples either to our detriment or for a noble purpose.  These two opposites are called the “servant” who is in power instead of her mistress, or the “mistress” who rises and reveals herself with the help of the servant. The “mistress” is the science of Kabbalah, which teaches us how to correct our nature, and by using it correctly, to reveal another part of Nature and its enormous forces. All of this is given to us for our use and eternal existence.

A question I received: It is impossible to be in balance with Nature if my only approach toward life is egoistic. How can I achieve balance with Nature?

My answer: Today we are forced to face the truth. We are under the threat of hunger, epidemics, natural disasters, etc., and our natural development has led us to this situation.

We have relied on the sciences to improve our lives, but what have they given us? Their use has yet to bring us any good! Quite the opposite, we have destroyed our whole planet, our lives, have gotten entangled, thrown off-track, and are now facing a dead end.  Humanity’s foundation has been built on the wrong principles leading us to develop for thousands of years in the wrong direction – towards egoism.

That is why we must immediately change the principles of our foundation and embark on a new path!  The science of Kabbalah, and not the earthly sciences will help us advance on the path of development in a completely different manner. We will then utilize all scientific knowledge not to humanity’s detriment, but towards the common good. The principle underlying all scientific development must be the desire to do good onto others, rather than the use of knowledge, power and force for one’s own sake.

Everything in the world is just one material – the will to receive, to be filled with the Light of the Creator. This holds true for the Upper Worlds and our world. The difference between any object or phenomenon is only the degree of this desire. A small desire forms an object on the still level of matter, a greater desire – the vegetative level, a greater yet – the animate level, and the greatest desire forms a human being. All the desires are interconnected in one system. Through our senses, we don’t perceive the actual desires, but only their material shell. Kabbalah enables us to shift from the external level to the inner one, and thereby attain the forces that govern the entire universe.

Three questions I received about how to start studying Kabbalah:

Question: I recently discovered Kabbalah and I’m developing a big interest in it. I was wondering, how is it possible for me to learn as much as possible, and what should I do to eventually be able to teach Kabbalah? Are there any schools where I can apply to? Do you take on apprentices? Or do I have to try and find everything myself? And also, if there are things I don’t really understand, how can I get help to understand them?

My Answer: We have the Learning Center Online courses for beginners. If you successfully complete them, then you can advance further and even become a teacher – we have a real need for more teachers!

Question: I started studying Kabbalah three weeks ago and I have a question. When you say, “There is nothing in existence besides what is described by Kabbalah,” doesn’t that close off one’s infinite possibilities?

My Answer (and a question for you): But doesn’t Kabbalah talk about the entire creation, including the roots and nature of creation, from which all things follow?

Question: Lately I’ve been listening to your lessons and studying The Science of Kabbalah. The unfilled desires are the qualities or seeds (roots) of Kelim, aren’t they? Is the desire to fill these unfilled desires with the Light (bestowal) a conclusion of the Kelim’s creation? If yes, do I correct myself in equivalence of qualities through my desire?

My Answer: You are assessing and evaluating your state correctly. Keep going – that’s how you will create your Kelim!

My Comment: People’s relationship with God is no better off in other nations. Humanity has to undergo many more changes to begin to feel (or reveal) the Creator as He had planned. However, Kabbalah enables people to reveal Him quickly by changing under His influence. Then everything will become clear as day and all of our preconceptions about God will disappear.

We have made great progress in revealing the physical world, which is open to our perception. But we have made no progress regarding that which is concealed from us. When modern scientists, politicians, or businessmen talk about God, it’s clear that they are no different from Neanderthals who used to worship images, spirits, and the signs of the zodiac.

In the News (from The Telegraph): “Britain has produced unteachable ‘uber-chavs‘” Britain has produced a generation of “uber-chavs” who are unteachable and unemployable, a senior teaching official has claimed. Ralph Surman, a national executive member of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, said a significant number of young people … are now doing nothing with their lives, have no work ethic, few social skills and cause higher crime rates… They are not doing anything productive and are costing taxpayers a fortune. “It is very difficult, almost impossible, to take these people now and provide basic social and work ethic skills… Unemployment rates among 20-year-olds alone have rocketed by almost 50 per cent since 2003… The rise is vivid evidence of the deep problems in our education and training system.”

My Comment: These young people have big desires, but not for anything that the consumer society, created by the past generation, can offer to them. They don’t want to live just to work. They have greater needs, and when they don’t see a way to fulfill them, they prefer to do nothing.

The only thing that can cause them to become active is an explanation of how they can fulfill their specific desires. Therefore, when Kabbalah will be revealed to them, they will acquire a meaning in life.

A question I received: I really like watching your shows and reading your books. I hope that Vanga and other prophets were wrong, and Kabbalah is the true teaching. Is this so?

My Answer: The only way you will know for sure that Kabbalah is a true teaching is by revealing the Upper World, rather than by listening to me. Don’t believe me or anyone else.

I’m not interested in prophets because if the prophet is real, he predicts what will happen as planned by nature (how things will advance by the path of suffering – Beito). However, we have the opportunity to advance on our own (by the good path – Ahishena).

Therefore, I don’t pay any attention to prophecies and I always try to shift the path of my development from the evil path to the good path.

And this is exactly why the science of Kabbalah was given to us. In our times, Kabbalah is revealed to everyone, and whether we do it with the help of Kabbalah or not, we are advancing toward the same goal. However, without Kabbalah, we do it by the path of constant suffering.
