How Can We Feel the Correct Intention?

276.05Question: Can it be considered that my intention comes from the Creator if it aligns with my desire and is directed toward goodness and love?

Answer: The fact that your intention aligns with your desire does not necessarily mean it came from above. You should not think that way. It might be correct or it may not be at all.

Question: It is said that there is none else besides Him. What does that mean? Does that imply it does not depend on Him, but only on us?

Answer: Of course, That is why we engage in Kabbalah—to align our actions and intentions with those of the Creator so there is no difference between us and the Creator. That is called adhesion (Dvekut).

Question: How can a person know if he or she has set the intention correctly? After all, there is the general intention of the group and there is a personal intention. How can one sense the correct intention?

Answer: The correct intention can only be understood by asking the Creator for it and receiving it. In doing so, you feel that it comes from the Creator.

A House Without Contradictions

938.03In this world, a person builds a building and another ruins it. But in the future, he will not build and another will dwell.

Afterward is called “future,” meaning a world that approaches and comes, as it is written in The Zohar, and which the sages call “coming to Lishma.” At that time, they will not build but engage in Torah and Mitzvot, and then sit, but he himself, for because his aim is Lishma, the secrets of Torah are revealed to him and he becomes as a flowing stream (Rabash, Assorted Notes, 285, “A Person Builds a Building“).

Question: Does this mean that the perception of the world is not in the sensations of reward and punishment, but in faith above reason?

Answer: Yes, of course. But the main thing is that together we are  engaged in creating a place where the Creator will manifest with all His attributes, the laws of nature. We participate in this ourselves and thus correct ourselves.

Question: How important is it that there be peace in the house?

Answer: “House” refers to the ten, in which there should be a common understanding of what we are doing, why, and how we are moving forward. All of this must be coordinated among us. Therefore, there should be no contradictions in the house.

True Bestowal

608.02Question: What does true bestowal mean? Is it when my desire to receive becomes giving?

Answer: It means that I work on our connection in such a way that I receive everything for the sake of bestowal, channel the light of the Creator through myself, and pass it on to others.

As a result, I too am filled, but my goal is to fill everyone else.

Feel an Ascent at the Convention

934Question: What can each ten do before the convention so that everyone feels only ascent during the convention?

Answer: To achieve this, the ten must first unite and arrive at the convention in this united state. Since there will be many such tens at the convention, you will be able to receive a lot of light that will correct you, and after the convention, you will feel how much you have risen.

A Righteous or a Sinner?

207Question: In the article “The Concealed Things Belong to the Lord Our God,” Rabash talks about a situation where a person is seen as righteous in the eyes of society, but is a sinner in their personal work. Does this mean he is talking about some kind of false righteousness?

Answer: That doesn’t matter. From the perspective of society, it is seen that he fulfills everything and behaves like a righteous person. But within himself, he sees many flaws and therefore feels that he is still a sinner.

Question: What is the danger in a person considering himself righteous?

Answer: It leads him away from correct actions. He cannot draw closer to the Creator. In principle, if he considers himself righteous, then he should already be somewhere close to the Creator.

Question: Could it be the opposite, that in the eyes of society a person is a sinner, but he is righteous in intention?

Answer: These are very rare cases. Usually, this is done by the Creator Himself to protect the person or to do something special with him.

How Can We Evaluate the Actions of the Creator?

251Question: We learn that if the Creator delights us at each moment, there is always a way to treat it with love. How do we relate to it if we do not feel this?

Answer: You do not. First you must reveal the Creator through His influence on you, and only then will you be able to evaluate these actions.

But if you still do not see what He is doing to you even though He is the one doing it, you cannot come to any conclusion and act based on it.

Truth Cannot Hinder

626Impure and pure are in one’s feelings. A person may be sick, but if he does not feel the illness, he does not go to the doctor to be cured. It follows that in his feelings, he is well, although, in truth, he is not. It depends with respect to whom it should be true (Rabash, Assorted Notes, 138, “A Near Road and a Faraway Road”)

Question: If everything depends on who the truth is regarding, then it follows that not everyone needs the truth. What is meant here by the concept of truth?

Answer: I cannot define what the truth is right now. But indeed, not everyone needs the truth. Most people do not need truth but good health, a good life, health, etc. And whether it is true or not does not matter. So we still have to figure it out.

Question: It is clear that a person always wants comfort. But does everyone need the truth to develop the soul, or can it hinder someone from developing the soul?

Answer: Truth cannot hinder. Truth is the main driving force in one’s genuine movement toward a goal.

Question: In our ten, exactly what you are talking about is happening: someone wants things to be good while others want correction. I always talk about hate, about evil, about revelation. My prayer is constantly about this. But some do not want to hear it. How should I work correctly?

Answer: The ten is right, it is better to talk about good things.

Question: So if I am in such a state, should I not talk about it, but just join the opinion of the ten?

Answer: Not only you do not talk about such states, you remake yourself.

Pain of the Soul

278.02Question: Why must a person’s soul languish in order to receive mercy? The root of the soul is love. What is the meaning of pain of the soul?

Answer: In our world, nothing can be revealed except through its opposite quality. Therefore, to the extent that you yearn, empathize, and suffer, you can reveal love, an attraction to another. This is how you form connection.

Any quality in our world is revealed only through its opposite. You should try to achieve this.
