I see the current crisis not as a punishment to us, but as a unique opportunity to reach an eternal and perfect existence, a totally different frame of reference. We have made many discoveries in this world in the evolution from ape to human, but now, for the first time, the upper management is being revealed to us. We are beginning to hear that indeed, there is some force beyond us.

We understood that the forces of nature existed: the force of hurricanes or the force of gravity, but all these forces were less than us. They were the forces of blind nature: still, vegetative, and animate.

However, I, a human being, was above them. Who else could compete with me? Let an animal attack me. I can kill, defeat, or tame and domesticate it to serve me. I was the strongest among them.

Of course, there were some phenomena before which we were powerless. Suddenly, a volcano would erupt or some other natural disaster would occur, but we understood that they were the laws of a blind nature that had no mind. We could predict those catastrophes by various signs or calculate them using formulas. However, suddenly, for the first time in history, a new power is revealed between us, the human beings.

Try to feel the unusual things that we are talking about. This creates a situation as if we were gathered in one room for some meeting: There are many people, and an intimate atmosphere prevails between us because we have known each other for a long time. Let’s suppose that it is someone’s birthday, and everyone is mingling with a glass in his hand. Everyone knows what is happening.

Then, all of a sudden, a new attitude, a new power, breaks through, and no one can get along with one another. That is how our world appears now. People are beginning to feel that this new power is coming from outside, and they do not understand what to do with it.

Everything is changing at the level of man himself. The fact that some hurricane occurs is still okay. This is the still nature, or the vegetative, or the animate, but it is less than human. These things are stronger than me, but below me because they are devoid of sense and reason.

Unexpectedly, however, changes are taking place that seem to have sense and reason. I still cannot clearly distinguish the intellect there, but I already understand that these changes are at my own level. A new power is being revealed where I, using my sense and reason, have built the systems of connection between us, the people. I do not know about it, but I see that I cannot manage there myself. I cannot achieve what I wanted.

This is revealed to me slowly and from a distance, but I already see that I am not the master in this world. I do not attribute this to some force outside of me that has sense and reason, but I see that this obstruction is at my height. Therefore, today, we do not know what to do.

Considering the world’s current state, our advancement will be quick. You can see by the news how quickly things accelerate. We will pass through this period quickly since the world also needs us to advance. This is why we must exert all our efforts to keep on our path and not stray off it.

Today the work we do locally and mass dissemination are extremely important. If you establish a connection with someone so as to bestow to them, all the necessary phases will flow through you quickly. I’m addressing all of our groups in Israel and strongly recommend for everyone to engage in dissemination work. This is what Baal HaSulam and all Kabbalists write about. Even without them we see that there is no other way. This is the only way we can reveal the upper reality.

The correction of 613 desires from reception to bestowal is our work. Everything else is a cover, customs that were necessary in the period of the exile. However, the actual method we had applied initially is inner correction. We applied it until we had fallen from the degree of brotherly love into unfounded hatred in the time of Rabbi Akiva. We have the Reshimot, spiritual genes, that have remained in us since those times, and it’s easy for us to return.

This is why we are presented with demands; this is why the whole world is pressuring us. They don’t even know what it is, but they feel that the problem lies precisely in us. Therefore, we need to act as fast as possible for this is how we can avert all the troubles coming to us. Our neighbors will come to our aid instead of bombarding us with rockets. That is exactly how things will go, and the Kabbalists write about it. In essence, our enemies are matched up to help us by pressuring us to reflect on life.

We must remember that everything comes from one Force, that there is none else beside Him. And we must react to what’s happening accordingly. What’s the use in shouting and bickering? Where is the correction in it? Our only correction is to unite and become “the light for the nations,” to light the way for the entire world toward correction.

Today the whole world is helpless, and the brightest minds don’t know what to do. Namely today our time has come. Upon completing our work, we will merit universal respect and gratitude. Hence, we must disseminate more, explain more, and lead by example. We are entering a period of practical Kabbalah, the entire essence of which is the correction of humanity.

Right now a “second power,”some foreign force, is being revealed to us, and if we try to discern it correctly, we’ll be happy. But if we don’t try to comprehend it correctly, it hits us—in order for us to notice and treat it with respect, to understand who the boss is.

It’s painful for us to learn under a stick, unless we’re able to turn this stick into candy. But this is only possible under the condition that I run after it, try to figure out what this foreign power wants, and am prepared to lower myself before it. This is called “to despair from the work and cry out to the Creator.”

The entire world is coming closer to this work, consciously or unconsciously. We are all “the Creator’s workers,” and we all exist in the final corrected state; we just don’t know or feel it. We are working to reveal and agree with all the passing states, to attain the revelation of Infinity. We exist in this infinite Light even now, except we do not agree with Him, and this is why He completely conceals Himself from us.

This is why all of humanity works together. Some participate unconsciously, while others want to understand this work and do it by their own will. However, the same stages are revealed to each person. And the turmoil that humanity is experiencing now is similar to the confusion that a person experiences in his inner work, clarifying his or her next step. Thus the entire world, being in the state of confusion, fogginess, and weakness, has started to scrutinize its upper, spiritual degree.

However, each person will work according to his place in the system. For some it will be an obvious attainment, but for others the attainment will be strictly practical and will stem from connection, mutual guarantee, which is enough for them to reach the common system and feel that they are part of it.

Some face more difficult work and clarifications to reveal the same system on the level of its “head,” and not the “body.” Each part of the body also has its own “brain” and “heart” that are responsible for the sensations and intentions. After all, each part receives orders from the central brain and must process them to do the actual work.

The parts feel its influence and send their response to the brain. This is why even the body has “bone marrow,” the part that has knowledge, understanding and perceives the whole system. And in the end, everyone connects in such a way that they completely intermix and become fully included in each other.

Question: Without mentioning the science of Kabbalah in our dissemination, we are simply telling people that mutual guarantee will provide them with a good life. In that case, how are we different from other organizations that hand out similar promises?

Answer: It’s bad if you don’t feel the difference.

The modern person is experiencing a global, integral crisis. In this way, the Creator is showing him that he is connected with others the wrong way and that he has to reach mutual guarantee. There is a method that will help him unite with others correctly and to start living a good life. This method operates by creating the appropriate atmosphere, a “shell” out of the environment, which gives a person the explanation of how to live together and lead a good, healthy, safe life.

A person hears this and understands that there is no other solution. And others hear the same thing, so it’s easier to make this happen conjointly, together with them. A person learns to unite with others the right way, and in the process he attracts the Light that reforms to himself. This is the same thing that children do while playing, becoming older and smarter in the process.

Thus, when a person finds himself in a bad situation, he uses others to attract the Light, and gradually he starts valuing the force of bestowal. He holds it in high regard and it becomes the highest value for him. And suddenly he begins respecting it so much that even when everything in his life is going ok, he does not abandon bestowal, wishing to enact it regardless of his sensations. That’s because he attributes the primary importance to it.

That is how a person becomes spiritual, going from the egoistic intention, Lo Lishma to the altruistic one, Lishma. And there is no chance that 99% of the population will reach correction in any other way. Can you recommend anything else besides the Torah?

I think the problem is an elementary misunderstanding of how to advance AHP. We have known how to correct Galgalta Eynaim since the times of Babylon, but to correct AHP, this is the only means we have.

Throughout our entire history of development, besides the period from the Exodus from Egypt until the destruction of the Temple when Israel existed as a spiritual nation, all the previous two thousand years, Kabbalists used to establish small groups among themselves and that was enough.

But now, we have to build the new system of mutual bestowal in an absolutely tangible way, like all connections and systems operating in this world. Namely, we should build it not just in internal relationships between us, like the groups of Kabbalists who reveal the quality of bestowal between themselves; rather, today the quality of bestowal has to get realized in the matter of this world!

That should be a full and tangible application of this spiritual quality in our life, imprinted in all the nations, industry, commerce, man’s relationship with the world and society, in all everyday systems. It has to be revealed at every stage, in every element and part of corporeal relationships, in our entire daily life related to food, sex, family, honor, power, and knowledge. In other words, everything that exists in this world has to exist with the intention to bestow.

First of all, we need a new upbringing, and then we can begin with corrections because if we begin correcting the society before we correct ourselves, we’ll spoil it even further. The world will become even worse to show us our faultiness!

If today you don’t understand that you are corrupted inside and intend to change something outside, all the changes you will implement will be purposefully turned inside out for you to be forced to come back and first of all, correct yourself. And based on that internal correction, you will be able to come out with the external changes—from inside to outside. This is the only way to correct reality.

Today, the Creator puts the condition before us: “If you do not connect as one man with one heart, you’ll get nothing! It’s for you to feel that such a life is not a life…. And moreover, I will appoint a king as cruel as Haman over you.”

That is, for every action in which He made us unequal to each other, forcing us to hate, envy, and blame each other, we have to make corrections and achieve complete equality. And after that we will not be concerned about how much each of us gets, so much so that even if a person receives nothing while the others receive infinity, he will rejoice as if he received the infinite fulfillment himself.

It will be enough for a person to see that everyone receives fulfillment and fully enjoys, while he himself has nothing and needs nothing! Then, he will become similar to the Creator because he receives nothing and only gives.

Today, we are beginning to see such tendencies and steps in this direction in our world. It is the first time that the Creator says: “You have come to the threshold, and you will get nothing more. You will have great difficulties, exist in crisis and other problems, until you reach the solution that equality does not mean ‘just take and share.'”

You can start counting family members so that each has an equal amount, but in reality we must come to a different correction. After all, this is simply social egalitarianism that does not correspond to absolute justice.

The Creator wants us to reach the state when due to our love for the others, we will only care about satisfying their needs at our own expense. But first, we should think about our own correction because without it, we will not receive fulfillment.

Today’s economic recommendations and new theories will not be able to fulfill us without correction. On the contrary, they will lead us to a greater awareness of evil and our inability to do anything. Therefore, we can only distribute, as widely as possible, the knowledge about our current state, the way the wisdom of Kabbalah explains it.

In today’s complex situation in Israel and in the world, it becomes clear why Baal HaSulam insists that first of all, we have to sit down on the school bench and study. This is what we need; otherwise, we will not be able to relate correctly to what is happening.

This does not mean that I ought to love my enemies as “each will have to pay for his deeds,” but I have nothing to hate them for. I should know only one thing: How I can prepare myself for unity and in what forms. Only this can break hatred—only through this connection, inside of which the upper force is revealed.

If it is revealed, we will cure all these evil forces. We simply have no choice. The Creator pressures us so much because otherwise, we will never come to the point when the spiritual force, holiness reigns in us. Without this, we have no chance for salvation. I hope that we will manage to convey this to the nation, simultaneously with the pressure that is exerted on us as if from outside, that is, from Above, and we will be able to achieve unity.

In fact, this is called the war of Gog and Magog. Through all the nations and by using any instance and possibility, the Creator puts the pressure on us, and we must unite. It is like the exodus from Egypt: The pressure is growing and growing, until we have no alternative, and we flee. Otherwise, we do not want to leave the slavery of our egoism and are willing to stay and live in it forever.

Therefore, there is no way out; we will have to go through all the “Egyptian plagues” and pressure. The better we understand them, the less these blows will materialize. They will be more internal—with understanding, awareness, search, and scrutiny. They will be faster, at the other degree. If the blow is felt in matter, it is billion times harsher and longer.

The difference between the degrees is such that the entire still level is equivalent to one plant! Try to estimate this proportion: One side of the scales holds the entire still matter of the universe, and the other holds a blade of grass. Can you imagine what a huge difference it is, if we rise only one degree in our scrutiny and corrections, not to speak about ascending from the animate to the speaking degree! And we can do this instead of the blows that await us at the still level.

Imagine, how many blows and sufferings we will have to go through on the still level….Therefore, all our work now is only to rise and rise faster. To do this, we need to sit down on the school bench and to learn to understand a little what happens to us and to the world, and why. We have to explain this to ourselves and to the entire world. We have no other weapon, but explanations. And the situation simply obliges us.

We must reveal a place in the heart and mind for genuine concern. All other concerns must become compulsory for me. I live in this world and tend to its matters out of necessity, but my true and sacred concern is about what’s truly important. After all, I am human and wish to achieve something. Something is precious to me in life, besides money and daily problems. This is something we must assign far greater importance than all the other twists and turns of life.

I can work, shop, and attend pleasant or unpleasant events. It doesn’t matter what I do, as long as in my heart and mind there is a place where I want to ascend. And if there is such a place, I must connect my friends to this inescapable concern. When we think about and support one another, that is what a group is. Everyone is concerned so that the others have the same thoughts, the same cares. I want them to care for the most important thing, and then I will care about it as well.

Our mutual care is to build a spiritual vessel, the right desire, to raise a prayer for correction. When it amasses a sufficient quantitative and qualitative intensity, then in this network that has stretched between us, we will reveal that which we wish to attain—the upper reality—and acquire strength, health, security, and prosperity….

Indeed, today the Jewish nation relies more on a miracle than a firm foundation. And all the while we have a special vessel, thanks to which we can drive away all hardships and troubles, and all the haters. We and only we have the keys to the success and good life for all. This is precisely why the whole world and our neighbors won’t leave us alone.

We were given an opportunity, and only if we achieve mutual guarantee will our unity become a global center of good. So let’s make it happen together, by caring for each other with joy.

Question: What should we do in order to connect with the desires of other people? Is it enough to simply want it?

Answer: We need practical actions to at least explain to every person why he or she feels bad. It’s similar to how we behave with small children. If a child hurts himself and is crying, we first of all need to explain to him the reason for what happened so that the next time he would stay away from it. Then we need to explain how to correct what has happened and how to achieve success specifically thanks to these mistakes.

Now the entire world has found itself in a peculiar situation whereby the upper force field is becoming revealed to it—the connection between us all. Meanwhile, humanity is not ready for it; it does not correspond to it in its qualities. Therefore, the network that extends over us evokes in us the feeling of the breaking, disaster, and crisis, and nothing works for us, nothing is clear; everything is like in a fog, in a state of confusion.

So first of all, we need to explain to a little lost child why all of it is happening as well as the entire process. Some will begin to understand sooner, the others later. In general, it is called the recognition of evil, the first stage of correction. A person is being told: Look, this is why you feel bad!

And now let’s examine what we need to do to feel good. If you remain in your present state and do not exert any effort to bring yourself to the correspondence with the network that is being revealed to us, you will not come to a good life.

And here the method, the wisdom of Kabbalah, comes into light, which explains to a person the reason of evil and how to avoid it. We gradually begin to realize that it depends on the correct and good connection between all people, on the so-called mutual guarantee because we thus bring ourselves to the correspondence with this network.

The better we will match it, the better we will feel. At least, from a bad sensation, we will gradually begin to approach a good one.

And if we advance even more, then, possibly, we will prepare ourselves for the revelation of this network so well that we will go from success to success. Everything depends on our preparation.

Leading the spiritual process, we neither “impose arrangements” on the masses nor give out orders to anyone. We only pass knowledge on to people.

For a few hours a day I study reports and analytical articles on the events transpiring in the world today. I don’t take everything for granted, but perform my own analysis, forming my own view on the affairs, which form the basis upon which I act.

In exactly the same manner we leave people the freedom of opinion. We merely pass the method to them, which Nature itself “imposes” upon us. This method is based on scientific research.

For instance, many of the things I read now are familiar to me from my studies of systems laws and cybernetics. Cybernetics is a science about systems and their regulation in different diapasons: biological, mechanical, natural, ecological, and so on. Numerous formulas describe certain levels of regulation: input, output, and sought-for state. It relates to rocket launch, movement under certain conditions, and so on.…

Suppose a train has to reach point B from point A using the least amount of fuel, with minimal wear and tear on mechanisms, going at a minimum and maximum speed at rail junctions, without sudden braking or acceleration. Optimal fulfillment of, say, twenty similar conditions is one of the problems of the correct regulation. In our organism, thousands of parameters balance each other and come down to a unified formula called “life” according to the same principle.

So, today we have to explain to all people what will happen if we do not fulfill the formula of mutual guarantee—to the extent that it is becoming revealed to us today. In reality, we are talking about the corrected and balanced Malchut of the world of Infinity, but we are guided by the current moment. By ignoring the formula of mutual guarantee, we will suffer a loss; we simply must learn to comply to its parameters.

Therefore, our approach is informative. This is how students are taught in a university as well so that later they could apply the received knowledge in life. A person needs to learn reciprocity in his interrelationships with others, and he has to learn it himself without receiving leaflets from us.

Today there are virtually no professions that require no intelligence from a person. After all, he is not an animal. Let him dig a hole, but even here besides physical strength, he needs the head.

Hence, by training people to interact correctly, we present them a field of action for the mind and feelings. We do not leave them at the animate level since mutual guarantee relates to the human degree: Namely the human within me ponders how to co-exist with others. We are talking about an inner, sensual development.

It is not accidental that today people are looking for interconnection, go to demonstrations, and demand social justice and universal unification. This is what they lack, and we explain that this is the dictate of Nature, and according to it, we ourselves have to establish a connection between us. Mutual communication, mutual guarantee, is the law of an integral system we represent.
