Answer: You must relate to the friends in the same way you relate to the Creator. By this you will delight Him.

You will ask the Creator to give you the ability to bestow upon Him in the same way that you want to bestow to the friends, and vice versa, to bestow to the friends as you wish to bestow to the Creator.

All secrets of nature are hidden in our unity—there is no other remedy for broken souls. Therefore, we use the method of Baal HaSulam in all stages: rising above egoism, joining into tens, and moving toward unification into one man with one heart.

Baal HaSulam expressed the whole science of Kabbalah in a new, rational, and very open form that it is difficult for the world to accept. He brought each person closer to his purpose. We only need to unite into one man with one heart and raise a prayer to Him from this unity so He will manifest in us.

On one hand it seems that time passes and all this cannot be done, but on the other hand, we see that generations are advancing to the extent that they can realize the conditions given by the spiritual environment.

In fact, this progress cannot be considered slow, as some complain. Apparently, we do not understand how huge, lavish, and simply infinite the whole universe is. At our stage, we want to perform actions immediately at the highest level. But until we achieve sufficient force of action and its required accuracy, we will remain on the path.

Only through connection with other people can we turn to the Creator correctly. The more connected I am to the friends on the path, the closer I am to the Creator. We need to enclose ourselves as much as possible within the boundaries of the ten, the Kabbalistic group, and inside it, we will find everything Baal HaSulam wanted to convey to us.

Every day we must try to raise the ten to an ever higher level. If everyone in the ten wants to do this and knows that their spiritual score depends on it, we will succeed.

I hope we will go through the holidays with full seriousness and begin to reveal what relates to our souls. Every day I see my students more and more collected, united, and in agreement with the steps the spiritual forces are taking us through. If we want to accelerate the ascent to the next degree, an attack is required from us through unification with the Creator.

Question: What does the expression “If you leave Me one day, I will leave you two” mean?

Answer: This is a condition set by the Creator. If you lose your desire for the Creator, it means that He has left you, and therefore you are moving away from Him.

That is, you leave Him, not because you do not want Him, but because He did not want you.

Then, you must conduct a serious study of why this happened, correct what He did not want you for in the past, and develop a new desire for Him. Therefore: “If you leave Me one day, I will leave you two.”

A person must repent to the extent that it is “unto the Lord your God.” That is, he should feel that “the Lord is your God” personally, and then the flaw of the tree of knowledge will be corrected. (Rabash, “What is the Meaning of Failure in the Work?“)

We undertake the obligation to rise in faith above reason so neither our faith nor our reason are harmed in any way, and we will thus correct the problem of the sin of the Tree of Knowledge.

The revelation of the Creator’s desire lies in the fact that each of us discovers some of our problems, flaws, and sins that constantly drag us down. But we want to be part of the community of Israel and therefore want to return.

That is, a person wants to feel that the Creator is omnipotent, and wants to belong only to Him and do everything so that the Creator is above him. This is called correcting the flaw of the Tree of Knowledge.

Question: How can we help our friends on the spiritual path?

Answer: In principle, this help should be mutual since we can only attain the spiritual world if we unite into one group. When we help our friends, we help ourselves.

If several people, not necessarily ten, unite with each other, they correct their egoism. The Creator specifically created the ego, which distances us from each other so that we can try to be attracted to each other and form a single system.

We cannot completely unite because each of us is an individual egoist. Still, we can, despite our egoism, make a restriction on ourselves, not use the ego, and create altruistic connections between us.

That is, we remain egoists within ourselves, and between us we form altruistic relationships, even love.

If we gather together in such a system in which there are many egoists closed within themselves, but they try to unite with good forces, then the surrounding light of the Creator acts on them and unites them into a structure called the soul or Adam since it becomes bestowing like the Creator. That is the state we need to achieve.
