Relate To The Perfect Governance Of The Creator

laitman_962.5Nothing should be corrected in reality except for our attitude toward it. Let the world develop in its own way, we have nothing to add to it. After all, we see it according to our own qualities. We need to correct our view of creation, but the creation that appears before us is in absolute perfection. Peace in the world is the perfection we need to achieve.

Around me I see only myself, my own flaws. If I see that all the parts of reality are imperfect and the connection between them is also flawed, it shows the extent of my corruption. On one hand, all of reality is perfect and only the person needs correction. But in order to be corrected, one’s environment must be corrected so it could influence the person.1

The Creator influences a person through the world as well as through human inner nature. Thus, we find ourselves between two fires, all in order to bring us to the corrected state, to the realization that we must accept the Creator’s governance as perfect and adapt ourselves to it. This work goes against our inner egoistic desire until we balance our inner egoistic force with the external force of the world, relating them both to the perfect governance of the Creator.

One who wishes to correct the external force is called a world reformer, and one who wishes to correct himself is called a servant of the Creator.

The Creator constantly changes all desires, qualities, and attitudes inside me, ruling over my internal nature. Around me, I see the seemingly external world, which the Creator also shows me. It follows that I am under two influences of the Creator: internal and external. All I have to do is to balance them, placing the Creator as a ruler over both.2

The whole world is shouting that it is not the Creator who rules the world, but me. This is how we reveal that it is the Creator who rules over everyone. There is none else besides Him.3

There is a desirable outcome and there is reality. It is desirable to see the world corrected, that is, under the rule of the single force of the Creator besides which there is nothing. I am then connected to this single force and see that only the Creator fills all of reality.

But if I’m not corrected yet, I judge according to my imperfections and see wars and turbulence instead of the corrected state. Everything happens only in relation to the one who attains and all the wars and disasters that we see are happening inside of us, inside our nature. If I am not corrected, I cannot yet attribute it all to myself and it seems to me that the war is happening on the outside. I have not adhered to the Creator yet, and therefore, reality for me is split in two: myself and Him, instead of feeling “us” as one whole.4

Discord In The Ten: An Invitation From The Creator

laitman_959There is nothing but the prayer. We are created from the desire to enjoy and all we can do is organize in groups and learn to awaken the reforming Light, which will light up and give us a feeling that our state is inferior. So we reveal that we are under the governance of egoism, we gradually come to the realization of evil and from the bottom of our hearts, we ask the Creator for correction.

At first, we do not know who the Creator is and how to ask Him. But the desire to enjoy works as help against itself, directing us toward the Creator. We are beginning to better imagine the upper force from the awareness of the opposite property, and thus we come to prayer.

We must realize our evil, become acquainted with the upper force, and be ready to turn this evil into good. The Creator is able to do so and awaits our prayer. It all depends on our true request.1

The path to the spiritual world consists of two stages. First, a person makes all possible efforts in the group, he studies, disseminates, and goes through all sorts of states, accelerating time. This continues until he reaches complete despair and realizes that nothing will help him, but at the same time, he reveals the opportunity to turn to the Creator.

He feels greater connection with the Creator. Beforehand, he did not associate himself with the Creator at all and did not think that there is a force that controls him. There was no connection between the states he passed through and the upper force. Suddenly, he discovers that there is this connection—there is someone who directs and conducts him through different states. So he forms the prayer.2

There are problems that I am afraid to admit even to myself. There are those that I hesitate to disclose to my ten. But imagine that we are one body—not material, but spiritual. This means that everything except the beastly body, which has already died, is common for all of us. So what can we hide from one another in our spiritual work?

If I hate a friend and disagree with him, then I definitely have to confess it to everyone. After all, it cuts me off from development. Even more so, I prevent my friends from advancing.

The whole ten has to be like one body with regard to spirituality, and corporeality does not matter at all, as if the body has already died and decomposed in the ground. It is only our spiritual connection that is important, as much as we can imagine it today, and it will grow as we rise step by step.

Every day, two people in the ten should be responsible for our spiritual state and awaken the rest.3

“Love will cover all transgressions.” It turns out that if there are no transgressions, then there is no love, there is only beastly connection. Love, that is, the spiritual connection, begins when sins are revealed. Every day, one has to hate his friends and cover this hate with love, remembering that there is none else beside the Creator, who is the root cause of all phenomena.

We do not need to look for who is right and wrong: there is hatred and we have to find how to cover it with love. Then, you will see that there is no way you can do it! But if the whole ten asks for help from above, then love will cover all transgressions. Love comes only from the Creator.

Alone without the friends, I cannot turn to the Creator—only together with them. He will then definitely answer us: not me, but the whole ten. He deliberately ignites disputes between us and in a few minutes will kindle it somewhere else.

We should unite around the problem the Creator revealed and thank Him for it. After all, it is obvious that this hatred has always existed and has been revealed only because we became mature enough to ask the Creator for salvation. The revelation of hatred is evidence of progress.

We need to unite all together and perceive this hatred as an invitation from the Creator to turn to Him, giving Him the opportunity to answer our prayer. After several such conscious appeals, we will feel the triangle inside: me – the Creator – the group, or the Creator – the group – me.

If hatred is not revealed, then we are not worthy of advancement. That being said, we do not awaken the hatred; on the contrary, we must strive to unite as much as possible, and then we will feel that the Creator causes the rejection in us.

We do not aspire to reveal the evil, but only the good. The evil we get from above, just like the correction. We always reach for the good.4

Pray For The Deficiency, Not The Fulfillment

laitman_963.1The entire universe is a lack of fulfillment, the desire to enjoy, to grow, and to fulfill oneself. This desire works instinctively in the whole creation: in inanimate matter, plants, animals, and human beings, and therefore, they are searching, craving, and fighting with each other for survival. This is every created being’s tendency.

The Creator is approaching the created being and it starts feeling some kind of discomfort, without understanding where it comes from. The created being does not know what exactly it is lacking, but it starts to search for fulfillment. The Creator initiates the approach by coming closer to the created being, and the created being suffers from it, wants to eliminate this suffering, and therefore, seeks fulfillment. This is what happens in everyday life.

However, there are people who are able to advance to the goal by the way of accelerating time (Achishena). They themselves take the process of their development into their own hands, gradually awakening a sense of deficiency in themselves. After many ascents and descents, moving farther or closer to the Creator, they realize exactly what to do. Their life then becomes more purpose-driven. They understand what is going on and how to act, how to become the Creator’s partners.

The Creator no longer advances them instinctively like all other created beings that do not understand what they are doing but simply react in a predetermined way to the Creator’s influence according to the instinct inherent in them. We see this behavior in all of nature. Although a person is assembled with more complexity than others, there is nothing special in him that makes him an independent creature. The Creator, the force of nature, acts in everything.

If people aspire to find out what goal they should reach and through what means, they can accelerate their development, awakening in themselves on their own a desire to sense the lack and its fulfillment. With the help of these two forces, they can walk,  like on two legs, and significantly accelerate their path.

They understand where they are going and with whom they are dealing, and therefore, the path becomes clearer, more emotional, and conscious for them. They discover the forces acting upon them and understand the system in which they exist, that is, they reveal the upper world. It all depends on our attitude to the states we undergo and to the forces governing us.1

You can wait until you feel the suffering or you can search for the deficiency even before you start feeling it. If I want to eliminate the problem that has already been revealed, it is a natural reaction. The true deficiency is not the one that is revealed by itself but the one I awaken by myself, wanting to discover it in me. This means that I myself awaken the darkness that precedes the dawn.2

Evil can have many forms. Maybe I am in a bad mood, and this is evil. Or I have become disillusioned with the spiritual path and do not understand what I am wasting my life on—this is also evil. The Creator does not reveal Himself to me, the friends do not help me and forget about me—also evil. Then I discover that all the evil is within me. But the Creator created me this way.

A person decides by him or herself what to consider as evil. You should be very sensitive to what kinds of evil you feel; after all, advancement is precisely in this: how many types of evil I can distinguish and start to examine.

Either I reveal the evil by myself or the Creator reveals it to me. It is important what is considered as evil. If the Creator, the force of bestowal and love, comes closer to me, an egoist, I feel bad. After all, this force is opposite to me and its nearing brings me suffering.

The Creator is not revealed to my will to receive as the force of love. This love is above my egoism, above reason, and if the Creator openly approached us now, it would be very unpleasant for us. The force of bestowal would be revealed, which we absolutely do not belong to. To ask for this force to fill me completely is worse than death for my egoism. Therefore, we are ready to accept any state, but not the force of bestowal.

We should ask for unity, connection with others, and pray for the common Kli, not for its fulfillment. If our connection is revealed, we will be able to tolerate the force of bestowal within it.3

Perhaps I am afraid that I will reveal to what extent I am opposite to the will to bestow. Therefore, I subconsciously, instinctively protect myself, not letting myself come closer to it. I find some kind of external orbit that lets me keep the balance: I participate somewhat in the group, but I do not really join it, I do not go beyond my abilities.

Here the question arises: can the group push me, pull me close, so I would feel that there is no way out and that I must ask for strength from the friends to help me become included in the group above my nature. This is what it means to awaken the pre-dawn darkness: despite the darkness, rejection, fear, unwillingness, and confusion, to go toward connection and move forward.4

Evolution From Democracy To The Method Of Connection

laitman_294.3We need to learn what is happening with the egoism from current events in Israel. It is based on the matter of creation—the desire to receive. If desire acts for its own sake, it is called “egoism,” the evil inclination. We see similar processes in the United States, Europe, and Israel, where small groups, pursuing their own interests and taking advantage of the fact that we live in a democratic society, rise and demand what they think they are entitled to.

However, these are unjustified demands if we judge objectively, in proportion to their actual contribution to society. Yet, they take advantage of the fact that everyone has freedom of speech. It turns out that the more disorder there is, the more attention they attract to themselves. Existing laws allow this. This is happening in many parts of the world with all kinds of groups, no matter what their color, direction, philosophy, or goals are.

They use the growing egoism, both their own and of the society. This enables them to manipulate stronger forces, prompting them to rise against each other and to benefit from this confrontation.

It turns out that democracy is becoming bankrupt by letting small groups manipulate big formations such as right and left forces, Democrats and Republicans, and so on. In every country, they are called by different names, but the essence is the same because egoism is the same everywhere, which is why we see such occurrences in the US, Israel, and in any other place.

We see that democracy is coming to an end and what’s next is unclear. Small groups with narrow interests gain strength, and take advantage of the fact that there are two large camps opposing one another, manipulating them. As a result, large formations begin to follow a small group that uses them for its own benefit.

There is no solution for this yet. Obviously, this will continue until we start correcting egoism and explaining that the difference in opinions, in the views of the right and the left, should contribute to the strengthening of society and not to the destruction of each other. Both are necessary and we need to find a space where opposite opinions complement each other, then there will be progress.

An ascent complements a descent and a descent complements an ascent. There is no light without darkness and no darkness without light, no will to receive without the will to bestow. There must be two opposites to build a middle line, which is not a compromise. Instead, it acts as “love that covers all crimes,” that is, rises above them both.

Compromises in which opposite parties take small steps toward each other do not work because they exist up to a certain point and then everything explodes.

Obviously, in its present form, human society has reached its limit. Democracy, free development, and freedom of speech for everyone turned into a destructive force in society. This is evident from the refugee crisis in Europe and the conflict between right and left parties in America and Israel. Each small group tries to take advantage of this situation and to cling to one side in order to make the most profitable deal for themselves, turning into a Klipa, that is, instead of becoming a useful force, it becomes harmful.

Two large groups must exist and all the others in between are only looking for which side to join, changing their beliefs to the opposite every day, depending on the gain. This is all a logical product of our democracy and liberal laws. The situation becoming apparent today means the end of democracy, democratic elections, and human society. Therefore, our duty is to reveal to the people of Israel and then to the entire world the method of connection, the method of human education.

The Main Thing That Guides Us In Spirituality

laitman_283.02The need for the greatness of the Creator is the main thing that guides us in spirituality. The more we strive for this and fight for the greatness of the Creator to become more important to us than anything else, more than our own importance, the more we change our path and direct ourselves to the spiritual world. Spirituality is built on the greatness of the Creator: to the extent in which the host becomes more important to me than myself, to that extent I am able to give to Him. That is why it is not a minor issue out of many, but the main and decisive one.

Throughout the day, I need to check whether the greatness of the Creator accompanies me so that I need Him like a breath of air. Just like I cannot stop breathing, every second I must check whether I feel the need for the greatness of the Creator, whether I live for it so that only this will enliven me. If the Creator disappears from one’s life, one immediately falls into one’s egoism, which takes power over the person and transforms him or her into an animal.

It is very difficult for us to feel the greatness of the Creator because He is hiding, hiding Himself from us so that we do not seek Him out of greed, material and selfish gain. We will only increase our egoism this way. We have to want the Creator to rule over us because He is higher than our egoism. Preferring the greatness of the Creator to the greatness of our egoism, we prefer bestowal to reception and we advance.

For this, the Creator has made a lot of preparations and shattered the common soul, which lets us gather in tens and together develop the need for the Creator’s greatness and His importance. It is written about that: “May man help his neighbor.” When we are impressed by friends’ desires that ignite envy and ambition, we can attract the reforming light.

The light will come even if our intentions, desires, aspirations, and questions are not selfless yet. It is similar to a mother who understands her baby who still does not know how to speak and ask questions, but the mother feels what the baby wants. Therefore, it is enough for us to shout and ask from within our egoism and ask for help. Although we strive for the greatness of the Creator because of egoistic motives, they are accepted from above as inevitable on our part.

If we turn to the Creator through the group, that is, if everyone annuls himself a little bit, then we awaken the reforming light that changes us. Little by little, we begin to feel the need for the Creator’s greatness and also His greatness. If it shines upon us a little, then we can already appreciate that this is a complete remedy. We feel that this is the only thing missing.

When with the help of the group I replace the importance of my egoism, which forces me to constantly take care and think about myself, with the greatness of the Creator and worry about Him, I move from the material to the spiritual world, from reception to bestowal. The greatness of the ten and the greatness of the Creator within it is the leverage with the help of which I lift myself from the material to the spiritual world.

I need to check whether I care about the importance of the greatness of the Creator as the main thing that I need. And everything else that can be of help, I will accept with joy. To the extent of the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of the host, I will be able to bestow to Him and advance in spirituality. Therefore, this subject will be with us until the very end of correction because the greatness of the Creator has no limits and it is the only thing that raises us.1

The Creator is not only the quality of bestowal. Bestowal is a force that exists in nature, but it is inanimate and we cannot approach it. The Creator is not only a force, but also the desire, plan, program, and purpose of creation and of life. The Creator builds my whole life and me. Therefore, I appeal to Him and not to one of His qualities or manifestations.2

Love Constantly Grows

laitman_276.05We need to understand that the desire to receive will never be filled because it is not egoism that is filled but the intention to bestow. We turn to the Creator in faith above reason. In vain we hope to fill ourselves with the sensation of the Creator, to attain His revelation. In fact, we must form His image within ourselves; this is what will fill us up.

The difference is that it is not the Creator who comes and fills me, but I am filled with the desire for Him, building His image within myself by the fact that I want to resemble Him.

We cannot be filled up with love. If I get content from someone I love, then love quickly disappears, burns out, and can even grow into rejection and hatred. Love means that I constantly develop the desire toward the loved one and that sustains my love. Then I can be filled with it forever. This yearning, this passion, is called the reflected light.

This means that our prayer should fill us up. By asking the Creator, we do not expect to receive anything: the very appeal to Him will already be a filling. Above all kinds of disturbances and obstacles, we want to develop an appeal to the Creator, make a restriction on our egoism, the screen, and the reflected light. I do not demand anything else, feeling the image of the Creator that I built in the reflected light and it fills me. But we never attain the Creator Himself.

Like a couple in love, seeing that their love is gradually fading, they think of how to awaken it. Even if it has not yet disappeared, they try to increase their love, because if you do not rekindle it, it will disappear. Then they come to the conclusion that it is impossible; it is impossible to fight with nature, with habit.

The person is unable to love forever. Gradually, love becomes a habit, and the habit brings no satisfaction. There is only one way out: to increase the yearning, the desire, the craving for each other. Then love can burn forever.

The feeling between two lovers should always develop. This is possible only by developing a system above the egoistic desire; this is already a spiritual area in which the science of Kabbalah is engaged.

Spirituality is a continuation of the corporeal development, but in an eternal direction when love constantly grows and does not fade. At the same time, the plus and the minus do not cancel but support each other.

In essence, these are the very same forces of nature, only organized in new ways. It is said that the Creator did not create anything new.1
