The worlds of Assiya, Beria, Yetzira, and Atzilut are our four stages of the attainment of the Creator. These are degrees of love because we perceive the attitude of the Creator who treats us with complete love, but we can understand and recognize it only according to the level of our development.
Just like a baby, who does not understand how his mother loves him. He does not think about her attitude toward him at all; he just feels good next to her, and he takes advantage of it. But the older a child becomes, the more he understands his mother’s attitude toward him and begins to learn what love is about. Studying the love of the Creator for the created beings is the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah.1
We must reveal the four stages of the Creator’s love for the created beings, and on our behalf, we need to prepare the Kli for love. It can only be prepared in a group. If I build such an attitude toward my friends, then I reveal the Creator’s attitude toward me in it. To the extent of my love for my friends, for the ten, I reveal the Creator’s love for them and for me, that is, for the ten in which I am included.
It all depends on my entering the ten. To the extent by which I am included in the ten, I love my friends and reveal the Creator’s love for us. After all, the love of the Creator is infinite, everything depends only on the Kli (vessel), and the Kli depends on me. I can be in a group of beginners, but if I treat them correctly, I will reveal the full power of Creator’s love.2
The four worlds of holiness are the four stages of love, of the disclosure of the Creator’s love for the created beings. The very essence of the Creator is never revealed, we do not know who He is—it is His attitude toward us, His love that is revealed. This love is revealed in four stages: from the smallest to the larger and larger.
But since we ourselves consist of matter that is opposite to bestowal and love, then against the four levels of holiness, the four levels of impurity, hatred, and Klipa are revealed: against the worlds of Assiya, Yetzira, Beria, and also the world of Atzilut, which is also in the world of Beria. The Creator created four worlds of holiness and four worlds of impurity one against the other.
The world is the relationship revealed between these two forces: the upper force of love and the force of hatred of the lower one. When we make efforts to reveal love in ourselves, instead of it, we find hatred, a complete descent, instead of which love is revealed. As it is written: “There is not a righteous man on earth who does good and will not sin.” We are shown a sin, and if we want to rise above it, we come to love, to the commandment. And so each time, climbing the stairs 620 times.3
Despair comes from the fact that a person has tried to perform actions of bestowal, to engage in the correct environment, in dissemination, and got disappointed. He has no strength because his egoism feels no benefit in this. It is good if he can go above his egoism and continue to act. And if not, if his pride does not let him follow his teacher’s advice and his friend’s example, then he falls into this world.4
It is necessary that I prepare myself in advance so that if I fall, it means that the Creator pushed me. And therefore, it is a sweet fall for me because by completely canceling myself, I feel like a baby who fell into his mother’s arms. A fall means that I am no longer controlled by my egoism. It has lost interest in me because I have nothing for it, and now I can become a spiritual germ.
“And the sons of Israel sighed because of the work ”—this is a joyful cry. Eventually, we freed ourselves from working for the desire to enjoy in whose slavery we had been for twenty (or even four hundred) years. In the end, we get released. Now we see that we have no hope from egoistic reception, and therefore, all our hope is only in the Creator. We are one hundred percent dependent on Him, and therefore, there is no happier moment.5

Path To Achieve The Upper Purpose, Part 3
Spiritual work is unlike our regular work in this world. In everyday life, we are used to the fact that if we get up in the morning, go to work, take care of family and society in the evening, this is what life is all about. But spiritual life is not measured in this way. In spiritual work, the achieved level or state is considered zero relative to the next state, which is measured only by the difference, the addition to the prior degree.
Each new state has to be greater than the previous one, which means that we are entering spiritual life. Otherwise, it is not spiritual but corporeal.
If any success lasts longer than the moment it was achieved in, it turns into a corporeal and egoistic state. It is no longer considered that we are aimed at the Creator, at spiritual work. There is nothing spiritual or unique about it. Therefore, the group must be concerned with constantly renewing its spirit. If the impression of what was achieved lingers to the next moment, it loses its flavor.
We did tremendous and important work at the convention, but all this is already in the past. The states should change at a pace of breathing: inhale—exhale. We cannot accept absence or renewal. Usually, after such major conventions, we tend to fall into a slumber, like hibernating animals.
It usually takes about a week to calm down after such sharp spikes and return to normal. Most importantly, do not give in to such transitional states. With electricity, such transitional processes always take place when the system comes out of balance after sharp shifts and need time to stabilize.
The convention itself is a giant jolt upward followed by a sharp fall in which everything depends on the work in the group, on the connection between us, rather than the internal work inside each of us. Each one of us is a zero, but there is the ten that creates something new.
Naturally, a person cannot feel the rising spirit, the desire, or the drive forward on his own. It is good that we do not feel any of it because this is precisely what lets us create a new corrected state together.
Spiritual work is increasingly powerful unity of friends in the group; there is nothing else. Strive to achieve this unity faster so that the upper light can reign between us. It depends on our unity. We must make efforts to unite in such a way that the power of unity is revealed in us even stronger, until we reveal the power of love. The power of love is already the Creator.1
The spiritual state ends the moment I begin to feel it. If I can sense it, it means that it has already gone. Now we have to create a new state by connecting and uniting with the friends. The previous state was given to us by the Creator, it was Him who organized the convention and ensured its success. And now, after this success, we must “bring a sacrifice” because it was not us who guaranteed the success, so we must be grateful to the Creator for all the work that has been done. He did it as an example so that we would be able to execute it ourselves and create a permanent result in us.
We are seemingly returning to the same state as at the convention, but through our own efforts. We no longer receive awakening from above, which let us unite at the convention in the desert. If we continue to exert our own efforts, not only will we bring back the recent unity, but we will be able to attain in our own Kelim what this awakening entailed.
There is no need to think of the prior states. Doing so is a Klipa. We need to aim toward greater and greater unity. We will not feel it the way we did in the past because the Kli is always changing, and we are reaching new states within the connection.
It doesn’t matter what happened in the past. The Creator gave us an example that left an impression on us, awakened us, and now all we have to do is keep on working.2

Our path goes from hatred to love. After all, we are created beings, which means that we are first of all opposite to the Creator; therefore, we are made up of egoism; otherwise we would be unable to exist. If we had no evil egoistic desire, we would not be created beings. A created being is the one who has an evil inclination. Those who have no egoism are not considered to be created beings, and therefore, inanimate matter, plants, and animals do not belong to the true creation since they are not opposite to the Creator. They have no freedom of choice, feelings of hatred, and rejection; they just instinctively follow the laws of nature.
The hatred in a person comes from his oppositeness to the Creator, to the force of bestowal, love, and connection. Therefore, all egoistic qualities, feelings, thoughts, and desires that awaken in a person are initially given so that he can exist opposite to the Creator.
Evil is only what is opposite to the Creator. All our qualities are divided into those that are similar to the Creator or opposite to Him. Everything that goes against bestowal, love, and connection is evil. On the other hand, it is a great joy to discover the qualities opposite to the Creator because they give us the right to exist as created beings and to be human, not animal.
Animals have no evil inclination. Although they kill and devour each other, they do so only in order to survive. Animals do not want to hurt each other; only humans do. Whenever evil desires awaken in me toward others, I must understand that these are just human qualities, that is, a human being is awakening in me even if shattered, uncorrected, and wicked. Without this, I cannot separate myself from the Creator.
Therefore, we must be happy about all the evil that is revealed, about all the sinners. After all, it is impossible to correct a sin that has not been revealed. The correction of egoism turns into spiritual actions and sublime spiritual attainments. Therefore, our path is from hatred to love. It is impossible to love if previously you did not go through all the stages of hatred. An indifferent person feels neither hatred nor love because a person’s work is to turn hatred into love.
The higher a person rises, the more hatred, the left line, is revealed in him, and the harder he must work to bring himself to love, to the right line. This is how we always exist between hatred and love. When the rejection from the group is revealed again and again, we need to understand that this is a transition to a new degree, which always begins with shattering. This is the only way to move up the degrees of connection and love.1
The created being always starts with the left line, with the revelation of evil, hatred, and breaking initially prepared by the Creator. He created a perfect system and then broke it. Therefore, instead of perfection, hatred and rejection being revealed to us, and by supposedly correcting what the Creator created, we grow and become smarter. We always keep both lines and move in the middle line, between hatred and love.
The source of love and hatred is in the Creator. Love is the quality of the Creator that comes out of Him directly, and hatred is the opposite quality that comes out of Him as existence from absence. These two bases, the right and left lines, existence from existence and existence from absence, love and hatred, both come from the Creator. That is the way to relate to them.
I should not attribute either hatred or love to myself because I receive them from above. I must always associate myself with the middle line, balancing hatred and love so that they would act as one. They cannot exist without each other. I, as a created being, cannot exist in a single thought, in a single desire, but always in the combination of opposites, between both of them.
You must see a simple system in front of you: the group and the Creator within it. If we reach the first point of connection between the friends, then the Creator is revealed within this connection as its consequence. If we achieve a more powerful connection, the Creator will be revealed even more, and so on. Each time, by revealing the next degree of connection, we reveal new qualities of the Creator through their opposite. I discover hatred and rejection in myself, and by overcoming them, I achieve connection, revealing the qualities of the Creator. In such a way, I begin talking to Him.
At every second, my thoughts, desires, and attitude toward others change, and I thus feel how the Creator treats me and what He wants to say to me. By the fact that I want to bring all relationships to connection and love, I respond to the Creator and talk to Him. This is how our dialogue with the Creator, our connection with Him begins; everything is through the ten, the group, and the connection with the friends.
Therefore, the Creator is within a society, within a group, or within the whole of humanity, depending on the level of connection I have reached with Him. This is how I become increasingly closer to adhesion with the Creator.2
The Creator created nothing but love and hatred. What, then, is the middle line? If there is no feeling of love or hatred, then a person is as if dead, there is no created being.
The middle line is the measure of adhesion of the created being with the Creator. Neither love nor hatred is me. I build myself when I understand that there are two forces and I prefer one over the other because I value the qualities of the Creator more than the qualities of the created being. By connecting two lines together, I build myself out of them both.
This is why I must take care of the balance of the two opposites, not trying to erase or belittle either hatred or love but using them in a balanced way. I attribute both forces to the Creator and I am equally grateful to Him for both of them. I include both qualities and therefore feel that I am independent of them, but I can build a point of connection with the Creator in the middle line, between hatred and love.
After all, both of them come from the Creator. And what comes from me is the ability to connect these two feelings together and attribute them to the Creator. The middle line is built from this. It does not exist initially, it is us, human beings, who build it by our attitude toward the Creator.
We receive two forces from the Creator: the good and the evil force. The evil force separates us from the Creator, and the good force lets us connect together. With this attitude toward creation, we feel that there is a special place called the middle line, and thus we connect with the entire reality.
The middle line is the person, Israel (Yashar-Kel), which means “straight to the Creator,” because it aims me like an arrow directly to the Creator.
The right and left lines are only feelings, sensations, conditions, and laws according to which I arrange myself in equivalence of form with the Creator. However, our meeting with the Creator takes place in the middle line, where there is no hatred and love. Instead, there is a third component that is above both of them, and it is called “adhesion.”
Love is built only above hatred and is inseparable from it. However, adhesion, the middle line, exists on its own, independent of hatred and love.3
