Comment: Global drought trends show increasing frequency, severity, and areas of land impacted.
My Response: We have so disfigured nature that it simply cannot make up for all that we have done in it. There is a limit to what a person can do and not feel what they are doing. It is like in a car when there are problems, but you can still drive, and somehow move forward, and there are those when it is all over.
Comment: It seems that nature teaches us hard lessons.
My Response: No, I would not say that. Nature protects itself very well, it tries to soften everything. There is a very large margin of safety in it. But we have already crossed all imaginable boundaries.
Question: We know that water is very important in the life of any organism, and humans in particular. Ninety percent of chemical elements are water soluble; the human body is all irrigated and saturated with water.
What is water in human life?
Answer: Water is the foundation. From the point of view of Kabbalah, it is the light of Hassadim, without which one cannot exist. It holds everything together. Not just water, but the very property that it communicates, dissolves and allows you to flow from one state to another. The special properties of water, freezing point and dew point, are very important properties.
Water is practically what gives life to our planet. Of course, nothing will happen without it.
We are already in a state that can be called irreversible. We have to wait until this “patient” finishes his torment and that is it.
There is nothing we can do anyway. We cannot curb our selfishness; we cannot curb our appetites. Grabbing more and more—for what? It doesn’t matter what for. We cannot! Selfishness just makes us do it, that is all. It forces us to do absolutely irrational things. And as a result, we get…
Question: If we return to water, to its physical and spiritual properties. You said that it helps to transfer from one state to another, to break down, and to dissolve. How can a person learn this flowing property of water?
Answer: This is possible only if a person rises above himself, only if he does not use his selfish desire, but cultivates the property of water. This is an altruistic desire.
The property of bestowal, the property of love, the property of connection with others, is the property of water. That is why it is so important and everything is based on it. Inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature exists only because of this. A person has to do something with himself to match the world around him. He is the opposite of it.
Question: We know that in ancient times people called for rain and prayed to the rain god. And what should they do now so that nature becomes merciful to them and gives them water?
Answer: I do not think prayer can make it rain. Let them try.
It is just that nature has to react normally. One act of man against one act of nature. That is, if man destroys nature through his actions, then nature will destroy man by her actions. That is all that is going to happen.
Comment: We see that such abnormal cases occur in southern countries. But now Europe is also suffering from the heat; temperatures are reaching more than 40 degrees Centigrade.
My Response: Europe, Russia, and Siberia will all suffer from the heat, and even more so than the southern countries.
Question: And what happens in the spiritual world? Is there a shortage of the light of Hassadim, the properties of bestowal and love?
Answer: People who enter the spiritual world must create the light of Hassadim themselves from their altruistic actions, from working on their egoism. Otherwise, they will not succeed.
Question: When they are organized in this way, what can this equivalent of water do in spirituality?
Answer: If they organize the light of Hassadim, then they will be able to receive any abundance based on it. Then life develops on its basis.
Question: How does this happen? Where does it come from?
Answer: The spiritual world has everything in abundance. It depends only on a person how to reveal the light of Hassadim and then attract the light of Hochma to it.
It depends only on the person, on his kind attitude to others and to nature.
Question: How can we connect these two entities: the spiritual component, where there is a lot of water, everything is saturated and nourished, and the depleted relationships, the depleted Earth without water, without the light of Hassadim in this world?
Answer: You cannot do anything with our world. It is a consequence of what we produce in the spiritual world. Therefore if we cannot be kind, good, and correspond to the higher world, then this is what we are supposed to do in our world. I do not see any prospects. No.
Unless people eventually realize that they need to listen to the calls of Kabbalists and actually engage in relationships with each other in order to truly become one benevolent family, then our globe simply cannot stand us and will lead to us disappearing from the face of the earth.
Question: Is there a recipe for such an acute situation?
Answer: There is. Tell all the people that everything depends only on their kind attitude toward each other. Otherwise we will die.
Question: If everyone turns around to face each other now, will it rain and the drought will disappear?
Answer: Yes, real life will begin.
Otherwise we will be forced to happiness with a stick. Otherwise you will not get anywhere. There is a certain time, a certain atmosphere, a certain behavior of people where it is possible to do all this. But if we cannot take advantage of it, then other problems happen and evil times come.
Question: What are your wishes for people who suffer from the heat?
Answer: To get smarter. We need to understand that we don’t need to pray for rain. We don’t need to do anything with nature or anything else. We need to ask the Creator to help us become wiser and begin to apply altruistic relationships between us. That is all.
Everything will depend on it because the property of rain, the property of Hassadim, is the good dependence of people on each other.

Comment: Several studies have been conducted about the search for meaning in life with varying conclusions about it being beneficial or stressful.
My Response: The main thing is to find your natural point that you already live in. It may still be in development, but you are in it, not floundering about, not knowing where to go.
Comment: But you always say that searching for the meaning of life is good.
My Response: I’m not talking about a state where a person doesn’t understand what the meaning of life is. He must determine what this meaning is and move toward it. Moving toward the meaning of life—when you understand and know how and what, this gives you enormous fulfillment, pleasure, and calmness, together with enormous dissatisfaction, inner imbalance.
Comment: With falls and rises…
My Response: Yes! But you receive tremendous delight from all of it. You enjoy the process. This is the “proud Stormy Petrel.”
Question: And what if you have a fall, despair, when you suddenly think: “Did I choose the right point?”
Answer: But that is still better than being a non-living element, working in some office and sitting at home watching football. Or not? It depends on the person.
Question: Do you trust only the research that you yourself have gone through and verified?
Answer: First of all, I don’t trust anyone in the world. Because there is no one to trust. We see what is happening in the world. Therefore, I rely only on myself. On my own experiments. On my universities.
Question: And they say that after long searches you find the meaning of life, adhere to your teacher, and go? With falls and rises.
Answer: Only this way.
Comment: I remember you once told that you had such descents that you couldn’t even get out of bed.
My Response: That is natural. This is the path of searching. There is no way around it.
Question: And you call this a happy path?
Answer: Of course! Absolutely! “The exhilaration of the battle,” in the fall.
Question: What would you wish people who enter the path of searching for the meaning of life?
Answer: I wish people to enjoy the metamorphoses taking place within them. Everything happening inside them, everything boiling—that is life! Don’t grow old ahead of time. Or at least try not to, internally.
I can’t climb mountains, I can’t struggle with the waves in a raging sea. No. But inside me all of this exists, and all of this gives the sensation of life.
Question: And then a person remains young regardless of age?
Answer: Of course!
Question: Do you yourself feel young in this sense?
Answer: In two ways. On one hand, everything inside me is boiling. On the other, I know how to balance it. Meaning, my ship is still holding steady on all the waves.
Comment: Yes. This I can testify to.
