Question: Hegel wrote that war is the engine of historical progress. He believed that without wars there would be stillness and stagnation. Will eternal peace lead to stagnation in evolutionary development?
Answer: No way!
Real peace is an even more dynamic existence than war. During war you are searching how to escape, where to hide, what to do, but in real peace you are always in search and in ascent.
It is not stagnation, as philosophers say. After all, you are in constant search for means to preserve the peace, to develop yourself and others, to bring them closer, and to unite them.
