Question: Does a person transcend the Machsom (barrier) due to drawing the necessary amount of Surrounding Light (Ohr Makif)? Does he transcend it after he has drawn a sufficient amount of the Surrounding Light or does he need something other than drawing the Surrounding Light in order to transcend the Machsom?
Answer: The Surrounding Light does everything.
Question: How can a person determine whether he has transcended the Machsom or not? Does something open before him in his feelings? Does a sixth sense develop in him by which he begins to feel the Creator’s presence?
