Question: For whom is it easier to become a Kabbalist, a scientist or an ordinary person?
Answer: I think it is easier for an ordinary person who doesn’t stand out in any way, when there is nothing special about him except for one thing: the question of whether there is meaning to life or not, and if not, then life is a waste of time, is burning in him. This person doesn’t have the energy to end his life, but there is nothing to live for either, and that’s what he feels all the time. If this is what a person feels and this question doesn’t let him be, his place is here.
