The Torah, “Numbers” 1:46 – 1:47: The sum of all those who were counted: six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty. But the Levites, according to their father’s tribe were not numbered among them.
The Levites are a totally separate part that is in every person who engages in spiritual work.
The soul is divided into several parts:
- Keter, Hochma, Bina
- Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet
- Netzah, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut.
Furthermore, it is divided into lines: the right line, the left line and the middle line.
The Levites belong to the part of the head that we cannot count and calculate because it is only part of the process of our correction. When we attain the complete state of the end of correction, they also will become part of the general account. This is the reason that the spiritual path of the Levites is not taken into account. We use them, but they are actually part of the Creator inside me.
