Ug99 Fungus Global Impact Caused by Human-Nature Imbalance

Ug99 Fungus Global Impact Caused by Human-Nature ImbalanceNews Story: Fungus devastates wheat

A NEW strain of a major fungal disease in wheat is wiping out crops across Africa and Asia, sparking fears that manufacturers will be forced to pay even more for the vital commodity.

Scientists are currently battling against the Ug99 strain of stem rust, which first originated in East Africa.

Bakery firms across the globe are already suffering because of the rocketing cost of wheat, blamed on a variety of reasons including increased demand from emerging markets and biofuels.

In the past, stem rust was generally controlled in the region by using wheat specifically cultivated to be resistant to the disease; however, the new strain is “particularly vigilant,” scientist Lesley Boyd told British reporters.

My Response: The Book of Zohar states that if we, in our era, do not correct ourselves, if we don’t try to become all-giving and all-loving like Nature, then Nature will make us become like it against our will. Nature will affect us through our negative connection with it, bringing upon us hunger, natural disasters, wars, epidemics, and so on.
But Nature (or, the Creator) doesn’t want us to suffer; it doesn’t affect us with the aim of makng us suffer. On the contrary, we get such treatment as a result of our failure to take our evolution into our own hands. For instance, what we would forgive in a child is not necessarily the same as what we would forgive in a grownup. Today, we are mature enough to feel our opposition to Nature (the Creator), and this is so that we can achieve balance with it (called “similarity with the Creator”). However, our aim determines everything. The moment we make a turn toward correction (similarity with the Creator), everything will change. We would be to Nature as a child who wants to show her parents how much she wants to be good. Now you should be able to see the importance of spreading Kabbalah throughout the world.

Legalized Public Gay Sex in Amsterdam Park – Another Step Toward Asking “What Is the Meaning of Life?”

Legalized Public Gay Sex in Amsterdam Park - Another Step Toward Asking “What Is the Meaning of Life?”News Story: Dutch to legalize gay sex in public park

New rules of conduct passed by Dutch council officials will permit gay sex in public areas but fine dog owners who let their pets off the leash in Amsterdam’s Vondelpark.

As for the rules: “Condoms must always be cleared away, it must never take place in the neighborhood of children’s playgrounds and the sex must be restricted to the evening and night-time,” said Alderman Paul van Grieken.

The new park rules have the blessing of the Dutch police, who have urged all Dutch parks to follow Amsterdam’s lead.

But Amsterdam’s dog owners are less impressed. The new park code of conduct will set out stiff fines for dogs that are allowed to run around the Vondelpark off the leash.

One dog owner protested: “As long as the park has existed, we’ve been allowed to let our dogs run freely. It’s outrageous that we will be punished from now on but public sex won’t. If they can drop their trousers, why can’t I let my dog loose?”

My Response: In its final stage of evolution, egoism is offering all kinds of possibilities to fulfill any desire, and it’s digging its own grave in the process. Egoism is showing us that our will to receive is impossible to satisfy. Instead of giving us a feeling of satisfaction, egoism is causing us increasing pain and feelings of emptiness. Thus, against our will, we are realizing that the same ego which constantly drives our pursuit for new pleasures is actually our enemy. As such, we start hating our egoism, and look for ways to limit it and free ourselves from it. Feeling empty (depression, drugs, divorce and suicide) brings about the question “What is the meaning of life?” and in our search for its answer, we discover Kabbalah.

Things Will Be Bad. Very Bad!

Things Will Be Bad. Very Bad!“Things will be bad. Very bad!” These are the opening words of a front page article in Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper for intellectuals, businessmen and politicians, read by the upper, educated class of the Israeli society. The basis for this statement is the widely recognized situation in the financial world.

My Response: According to the science of Kabbalah, finances are the basis of humanity’s entire egoistic activity; they are the value, the measurement and the means to compare all connections and powers in a human society. Nature operates us in our physical desires (i.e. those that our bodies demand): food, sex, and family. As egoism evolved, social desires emerged: wealth, power, fame, and knowledge. In other words, all of our social relations are based on and measured by wealth (money, finances). We can’t imagine what our lives would be like if this common value were to be disrupted. However, one day we will have no choice but to replace it with a different value: everyone working for the benefit of others, and in return, receiving a normal life in the body, and unity with the Creator in spirit. Such a transformation cannot be accomplished with our own strength, but only through a comprehensible revelation of the Creator.

Nature shows us the harmony that prevails in it and the complete bond that exists between all of its parts. Human society must become just like that.
The idea of collective awareness must be willingly accepted by everyone. And for this reason, there is yet much suffering that will hit the world, and there is no easier path to maturity than the path of Kabbalah.

Religions are Expressions of Culture, Not Absolute Higher Knowledge

Religions are Expressions of Culture, Not Absolute Higher KnowledgeA Statement: The Chief Rabbi of Great Britain, Jonathan Sacks, wrote a book on “How to Avoid the Clash of Civilizations.” According to Rabbi Sacks, all religions should be recognized as genuine. Of course, fundamentalists anathematized the book, and charged Rabbi Sacks with heresy.

My Opinion: All this happens because people consider religions to be “genuine,” possessing absolute higher knowledge, instead of an expression of culture and peoples’ way of life. Religions were invented by people. There’s no reason to credit them as being anything more than clubs, which people turn to for psychological help in our unstable lives. There’s good in them, but nothing divine or genuine!

The Spiritual Jerusalem

The Spiritual JerusalemNews Story: Police say security fence has reduced crime in Jerusalem

“‘The security fence surrounding Jerusalem has completely eliminated terrorist attacks in the city, and has also decreased ordinary criminal activity,’ according to Major General Aharon Franko.” The barrier has been a significant factor in reducing violence in the city, because fewer terrorists are able to get into Jerusalem, commit their crimes and hide in the autonomous territories.

My Response: “Mashiach sits at the gates of Jerusalem and waits for the time when people will be ready for deliverance. He is in shackles and in need of the righteous who will liberate him from his chains. He is fed up with people of blind faith. He is fed up with generous hearts. Today he demands depth of heart in the people of truth.” (Rebbe from Kotzk)

World Religions in Crisis

World Religions in CrisisThe Crisis of Buddhism in Japan

“‘Many of us priests share the sense of crisis, and a need to do something to reach out to people,’ said Kosuke Kikkawa, a 37 year old priest. ‘We won’t change Buddha’s teachings, but perhaps we need a different presentation that can touch the feelings of the people today.’

More than 1,200 years after it first arrived from mainland Asia, Buddhism in Japan is in crisis, priests say.

Almost three-quarters of Japan’s population of 120 million are registered as Buddhist, but for many, the only time they enter a temple is to attend a funeral. That has sent many of the country’s 75,000 temples into financial trouble.”

What’s your opinion? Aren’t all of the world’s religions and faiths currently in the same situation?

War Will Erase Everything

War Will Erase EverythingStatement: Preparation for war is well underway. Crises in national debts broke out before the first and the second World Wars, and they are accruing again today. Both the United States and Britain are accumulating exterior debts of 2 trillion dollars a year. Such debts cannot be returned, and no one is planning on returning them! So what are they thinking?

If we, however, look at the present actions of western politicians as preparations for a large war, then their actions look rather reasoned and purposeful. Even Norway accumulated a debt of $469 billion for population of 4.6 million, even though there was absolutely no need for it! Besides, 7 billion people living in our planet is way too many! Even if a quarter of them remain, the planet will breathe easier…

My Response: The basis of the world – is egoism, fulfillment. The lack of a method to control it leads the world to war. The evolution of egoism under the influence of Light took place even before the appearance of matter – in “the Four Phases of Direct Light.” This formula is called the “principal four-letter name of the Creator” (HaVaYaH). Any phenomenon in the worlds develops according to it. [Read more →]

Animals – Our Correction Ensures their Best Treatment

Animals - Our Correction Ensures their Best TreatmentQuestion for ML: I want to know whether it is possible to attain knowledge without performing experiments on animals. Is spiritual attainment a substitution for experiments? Why do animals suffer in our world? What is the purpose of this? I really want you to direct me to the sources. I don’t understand why these horrible things happen.

My Answer: It is said that the entire world, with the exception of the person – still, vegetative and animate – ascend and descend according to the person’s actions. Animals – are a part of us, just like the rest of the world, which we incorporate within us. This is what we learn in the method of attaining the universe.

The person’s evolving ego destroys the whole of nature, including the person himself. We need to realize that the ego’s further evolution will destroy us. Kabbalah offers itself as a method for correcting the ego. Only the correction of the person will correct one’s attitude toward oneself, other people, and animals – toward the entire world that surrounds us.

Besides the correction of our properties, the attainment of the Upper World provides all the necessary knowledge about the world – and the need to perform experiments on animals disappears. Moreover, to the extent of humanity’s collective correction, diseases, which are consequences of our ego’s diseases, also disappear – and the need to perform experiments on animals disappears with them.

Loss of Identity

Loss of IdentityThe liberal system in the West has become its own trap. If, in the past, liberal ideologists believed that there needed to be laws for people, nowadays, in place of morals, laws lack moral boundaries and mechanisms of self-restraint. In a society where rules exist for the sake of rules, and not for the sake of people, there ceases to be any common sense.

In his article, Introduction to the Book of Zohar, Baal HaSulam writes that out of four possibilities – matter, form in matter, form abstracted from matter and essence – a person can only work with matter and form clothed in matter. All of the liberals’ morals, however, are based on abstractions from matter and from a person. Therefore, they cannot be controlled, and like all of our theories, they lead to mistakes that cost us dearly.

This is why the science of Kabbalah only studies concrete (spiritual) forms that clothe into matter (i.e. desires and thoughts). Kabbalah is a science of forms assumed by matter.

Evolution

EvolutionThe Earth’s biosystem evolves as a whole, from crisis to crisis. The number of crises over the course of our planet’s history – 20. The intervals between them are getting shorter, forming a decreasing geometric progression with an index of 2.7. First, biological evolution took place, then social evolution.

Biological evolution and its acceleration:
4 billion years ago – life appears,
3 billion years – life exists in the form of unicellular organisms,
500 million years ago – multicellular fauna appears,
350 million years – Paleozoic era,
180 million years – Mesozoic era,
65 million years – Cenozoic era.

Social evolution and its acceleration:
3 million years ago – the first primitive humans appears,
1.5 million years ago – Acheulean culture appears – and it continues for hundreds of thousands of years,
40,000 years ago – man becomes the leader of social evolution,
12,000 years ago – the system reaches a crisis – humans exterminate animals. The crisis was overcome by the transition toward farming and animal husbandry.

Then our civilization appears…
