A question I received: I have completed a few courses, attended the Tuesday lectures and participated in a Congress a couple of years ago. Now, I am listening through the Internet and reading the books, but I have a strong repulsion from taking part in dissemination. Further, I don’t feel a gram of spiritual advancement. I don’t want to feel used in any way. Does this mean that I won’t be able to advance with acceleration?

My Answer: You are making no progress. The dissemination of Kabbalah is the means for your own personal spiritual development because it is precisely in connection with others that you will build a place in which you will reveal the Creator. You haven’t yet grasped the method and haven’t used it correctly. Best wishes!

A question I received: What can I tell a person who is doubtful about attending an introductory lecture on Kabbalah? What can he receive from a one-time encounter with Kabbalah? What can coming into contact with this wisdom even once do for a person?

My Answer: It is quite possible that thanks to that one encounter, a person will be giving the greatest gift to himself by revealing his path in life. We keep track of our lives from the beginning, our birth, but if we understood the process, we would count back from the end of life to see how much time we have remaining.

A person who encounters Kabbalah brings Light into his life, with Light being the only positive force that exists in reality. A person then begins to see everything that happens as development through cause and effect, and he begins to see all of his problems correctly – as directing him to the goal. Kabbalah gives him power and reason to control his fate. It gives a person the Upper Light and teaches him how to control it (within the permitted limits and circumstances). All of this begins with one first encounter.

A question I received: You said that Baal HaSulam completely overturned how the science of Kabbalah was disseminated and directed it to a completely new level. Must dissemination come to a new level in our time also?

My Answer: As opposed to all Kabbalists before him, Baal HaSulam elevated Kabbalah to the level of a modern scientific method. He described it in modern language and as such, he gave us the opportunity to use it to change the world.

We have come to the complete destruction of the previous social system but still don’t know how to build a new system. It is this state of not knowing that could lead us into a world war.

This is why the science of Kabbalah is being revealed now.  It explains how we can correct all of what was built on the basis of human egoism. The only thing we have to do is to fulfill the method that will allow us to build new, appropriate connections between us. Then we will be aligned to the new integral, global world.

A question I received: How can someone who feels bad and is suffering from the crisis pass on the message and the method of becoming good? After all, you don’t ask a poor person advice on how to make money!

My Answer: A person who feels bad doesn’t have the method of correction. Otherwise, he would feel good. In fact, the correction of the world depends entirely on how we feel inside.

However, if a person knows that this suffering is related to his lack of correction, the shift from egoism to bestowal, then he has to share this knowledge and feeling with others.

Therefore, it is everyone’s duty and obligation to disseminate this wisdom to everyone.

A question I received: At what point can we consider a dissemination attempt successful? For example, if we simply tell a person that there is a practical method to improve their lives, that we’re all connected through natural laws, without mentioning Kabbalah, is that dissemination? If I don’t mention Kabbalah to people, they assume I am just a Marxist, so I am curious as to whether I need to be more direct. The less direct approach seems appropriate for many forums and online publications, but I’d like to know that it’s not a waste of time.

My Answer: We have to provide an explanation of the following things, without mentioning Kabbalah:

• What is our freedom of choice? It lies in creating the right environment (“The Freedom“)

• What is the correct environment? It’s an environment that strives toward balance with Nature

• How does one enter such environment? By humbling himself

• What does one have to receive from it? The value of unity

• Explain egoism’s development throughout history, in every generation and in each person’s individual life

• Individual egoism is closing in to form an integral, closed system

• We are completely interdependent (“Mutual Guarantee“)

• Use examples from biology, cybernetics and other sciences that study closed systems

• Explain the need for the right upbringing and education, teaching people the science of the new, united world

• Explain why Marxism was applied incorrectly in Russia and the Kibbutzim

• Using, facts, show that there is a possibility of Nazism and wars

You can extend this list, but without mentioning Kabbalah!

A question I received: I just looked at this course because I was going to suggest it to a friend who lives near Raanana. Then I was surprised to see that there is a charge of about $100 for 10 classes. One of the things I’ve been told that indicates authentic Kabbalah is that it should be offered free of charge. Granted, it’s the same cost as my synagogue charges me to take an adult education course, but doesn’t this compromise the idea of disseminating freely, especially in these times of financial hardship?

My Answer: Someone has to pay the rent and maintenance, or would you like someone else to pay them for you? The materials of the “Campus Kabbalah” are available free of charge on our website. When we give public lectures on our own premises, we offer them for free, even though we still have to cover the expenses.

Kabbalah favors the dissemination of knowledge about the world, but it is not missionary work at the expense of others.

A question I received: Two months ago, my Rabbi approached me regarding my speaking to the congregation about Kabbalah at our weekly services. We generally have 10 to 15 people at the services. We are a very small Reform Temple in Northeast Pennsylvania. Could you please give me some guidance on this issue?

My Answer: You should speak to them and tell them that Kabbalah is the science about the correction of the world. Today the world is discovering how incorrect it is, and this is why Kabbalah is being revealed to the world for the first time in history. Everything that was said about Kabbalah in the past was a lie, but nobody knew about this since the Kabbalists kept silent about it.

The first man who revealed this fact was Baal HaSulam. Before him, Chassidut talked about personal correction, but they said little and did it in a concealed form. Therefore, instead of performing the inner correction, people started to focus on the external actions and rituals.

Kabbalah was revealed in Ancient Babylon by Abraham in order to correct humanity. At that time, humanity recognized that it was united together in one place, but then the people separated and broke the connection. Today this connection is again being revealed on the global scale, and therefore, people will inevitably understand it – either through recognition or suffering. They will then use Kabbalah to correct mankind’s egoism.

A question I received: You have said that we should disseminate Kabbalah at every opportunity. Yet you’ve also mentioned that it is necessary to be careful not to use the name of Kabbalah and its terminology if there is a danger that this will repel someone (which is basically most of the time, as my experience shows). You advise us to use our corporeal capabilities and understanding of the subject using the tools of our occupations to try to explain the reason for what is happening in the world to others. You have often said that it is compulsory for everyone wanting to progress to disseminate, but is it acceptable to disseminate Kabbalah without mentioning the name Kabbalah?

My Answer: Why is it so important to mention the name of the method? What difference would it make if a person applied Newton’s law without knowing who discovered it? We are talking about the first stages of explaining Nature’s laws to people, in a way that will address their needs, without putting obstacles before them. We have to account for people’s prejudice, preconceptions about Kabbalah, Anti-Semitism, the special status of Israel and all the other factors. All of this is purposefully put forth as an obstacle for us, and we will be able to overcome it gradually, to the extent that people will recognize the need for global unification.
