Three questions I received on Kabbalah dissemination:

Question: In one of your lessons, you asked people for suggestions about disseminating Kabbalah. I had this thought that it’s possible to combine the necessary (Kabbalah) with the useful (education). Who should I contact about this?

My Answer: Write to [email protected]

Question: With the global crisis deepening, why don’t other groups of Kabbalists (other than Bnei Baruch) help us bring the knowledge to the masses? Shouldn’t we work in unity and bring the whole world to unity as well? Don’t they know that we have to work as one? And why do they criticize us for disseminating Kabbalah?

My Answer: They do not feel that this is their mission, and they find different excuses for not fulfilling Baal HaSulam’s will. This is why they are in such a sad state.

Question: With the world in crisis, why don’t other Kabbalists help to disseminate Kabbalah to the masses? Why can’t we just work as one? Don’t they know that this is what we are supposed to do? Why do they reject us?

My Answer: “Where have you actually seen other Kabbalists?” This is what Baal HaSulam wrote in one of his letters, in response to the same question from a student.

A question I received: Yesterday I came across an article about the crisis by one of your students, Alexander Kozlov, on the blog of the President of Russia, Medvedev, in the section called “Financial Crisis.” Is this also considered dissemination of Kabbalah?

My Answer: Of course! In fact, I advise anyone wishing to inform everyone in the world about the means of correcting and improving our world to use all kinds of blogs for this, especially if the blogs belong to “big,” famous people who have a large social network. (For example, I heard that Obama has a blog.) I welcome everyone who wishes to disseminate our method of correcting the world to write on all blogs! Anyone can write, and different people can write in many different styles. Besides, in addition to the actual words you’ll write, even if no one reads them, the action itself will have an impact.

Three questions I received on the dissemination of Kabbalah:

Question: I get this feeling that dissemination isn’t just something you do to get more people to find out about Kabbalah, but by disseminating you are actually developing the quality of bestowal inside of you. So it’s more necessary to the person doing the dissemination (for his inner development) than to anyone else (even though everything is interconnected). And I also get the feeling that it’s not the method of Kabbalah in and of itself that’s being disseminated (though that as well), but the Light that has already appeared within you. Am I right?

My Answer: You just gave a simple and correct explanation of the purpose of Kabbalah’s dissemination!

Question: How are people supposed to feel after watching our media?

My Answer: Depending on the consumer, it can range from tears of joy to hatred (with indifference falling right in the middle).

Question: Which topics should be illuminated by our media?

My Answer: Only the method of revealing the Creator, because only fulfillment by the Light will give us the eternal and perfect existence.

A question I received: Whenever I recommend Kabbalah to someone, I do it on the basis of my personal sensations and experience. I feel a loss for words because I’m talking about sensations that can’t be put into words. The more I study, the more I realize that this is such an intimate path, and that this inner path can only be explored by someone asking “What’s the meaning of my life?” – one who has come to strongly feel that there’s no fulfillment in the material world. I find my meaning only from sensing clearly that this world has nothing more to offer. So how can I spread this to the entire world?

My Answer: Many people feel that the world has nothing more to offer them, so help them!

(Continuing the question) I think that the only thing I can do is give people the exalted words of Kabbalists, and nothing more than this – that they’ll touch whoever they touch. I understand that this is something we need to do, but I don’t know what to do about not being able to say anything about it.

My Answer: Imagine that you’re speaking to the person’s point in the heart, their desire for spirituality.

Another question I received on the topic of dissemination: I understand the “top of the pyramid” concept, where the smallest minority of people in the world have the highest quality of desires, i.e. those for spirituality. But at the same time, all the other levels of the pyramid are needed too. So what is the purpose of dissemination? Is it only for personal progress past the Machsom?

My Answer: In our era, personal progress is impossible without all souls moving toward unity as one whole. The entire pyramid has to be pulled upward. When you acquire the property of love and bestowal, then you disseminate for the sake of those whom you love.
