Mutual Guarantee as a Condition of Life Itself

115.04Question: Does the power of mutual guarantee cover all of a person’s desires or only one desire, the desire to enter the spiritual world?

Answer: Mutual guarantee means unity, but it is a kind of unity that indicates integrality and active cooperation of all parts.

A machine, a mechanism, also represents a single system, but we do not attribute mutual guarantee to it. After all, a machine is motionless, it does not work, and therefore, does not exist in mutual guarantee.

Mutual guarantee means that each part takes into account the work of all the parts and activates itself in accordance with them. Here we are talking about an action, about the result of unification, about the degree of our integrality, our mutual work, our interaction, and our common movement toward the goal.

Mutual guarantee means that we are interconnected, that we pass information, strength, understanding, desire, upliftment, and awakening to each other.

Therefore if you are in mutual guarantee with others, you have nothing to worry about because they will provide you with everything you need. Everyone provides for everyone, and no one does it for oneself. Each one acts only for the benefit of others. To the extent that I provide for others, they provide me with what I need.

Exactly the same condition is set as the law of life in a living body: each cell receives nutrients from the single organism, and in no other way. In other words, if a body, an organ, or a cell is able to bestow and release forces for the whole, then it has the opportunity to receive life from the whole.

Otherwise, any part remains blocked and sealed. Only by bestowing to others can it receive life forces from them. It works like a piston: it receives and bestows, receives and bestows, and leaves for itself exactly as much as is required to perform this work. This is what life means.

“What kind of life is this?” you may ask. “After all, I only transmit forces, only conduct them further through myself.” However, in this work the Creator is revealed to me, and I adhere to Him. There is nothing in the desires and actions themselves, but they reveal a new depth of attainment.

The World Is a Reflection of the Spiritual System

933Question: When egoism manifests between us, we can hold a seminar and rise above the situation. But if we do not take any action, will it lead to any devastating events in the world?

Answer: The entire world is a reflection of the inner spiritual system, which is its central part and influences the state of the entire world, especially when this inner part already is beginning to determine the general state of the world, as it happens in our time, in our generation.

Our generation is called the “last generation” because a certain group of people has emerged in the world that can begin to correct it through themselves.

Moreover, the world does not need to resemble us. Our aspirations toward unity will bring about its unification, and the world does not need to understand how this happens. It will happen unconsciously in it.

We are consciously working on our unity, on becoming similar to the Creator, and humanity will follow this just as the body follows the head and carries out its instructions.

Therefore we do not have to think about what form the world will take; it all depends entirely on what form we will take. And those who feel a connection with us will join us. Therefore the most important thing is our unity.

Through All Possible States

281.01Question: What prevents a person from praying to the Creator from the depth of his heart?

Answer: What prevents us from praying from the depths of our truest inner, real desires? Egoistic desires themselves. They do not give us the opportunity to correctly address the Creator until, as a result of numerous efforts, we begin to feel them more acutely and are able to direct them to the Creator. Everything is done in such a way as to bring us to a state of adhesion with the Creator, not to separation from Him.

Look at yourself now: some of you are sleeping, some are half asleep, some are in a more real state, and some are even in an excited state. Through this, the Creator reveals to us our actual relationship with each other and with Him. This will continue until we start to feel this more deeply and begin to live within these states internally.

The entire surrounding world, everything we imagine, will begin to feel external to us. The world will be perceived as a means to deepen the internal connection between us and the Creator.

This process will gradually unfold within us, and it will happen. You listen more, feel more, and try not to fall asleep during the lesson, you resist that state. Through this, you will eventually begin to experience the next stages.

All of this is given to you deliberately. There is no such thing as fatigue or any other reasons from our world—nothing like that! These are purely spiritual causes. There is nothing physical here, only importance. And importance arises from going deeper into the search for the feeling of the Creator.

Develop a Taste for Spiritual Work

237Question: How can you ask for others when you feel like you have lost the taste for it?

Answer: That is actually a good thing.

Question: Should I continue working mechanically?

Answer: Absolutely! Working mechanically is the best thing you can do. It is the beginning of a new degree.

The thing is, when there is no taste, you are not demanding anything for yourself. When there is no taste, no desire, you are able to pray for others. But this is a small state.

A big state is when you deeply desire to fulfill yourself, yet you still pray for others. Right now you are being prepared for that.

So pray for others and you will see that taste will appear: “But what about me?! What’s happening to me?”—and this is how you will gradually rise above these desires.

Pray for the Entire Society

947We need to try to feel the collective that will be present at the congress and pray for everyone, including even ourselves. Rabash writes that a person must pray for the entire society, for the entire world Kli, and include oneself within it.

The essence is that when I imagine the souls, I must also imagine that the Creator is present precisely within them. And within me? Within me, He exists in a form that prompts me to relate to Him and to this collective in a special way.

In principle, He distinguishes me negatively, as if I am not like this collective: He is within them, but not within me. The Creator desires for me to awaken His revelation within myself in a specific manner.

The most important thing is to pray for others as if they were your own child. It is very simple. If you pray for them in this way, it means you are integrating into the correct relationship with the Creator because He also relates to everyone as to His children, whom He wishes to nurture and elevate.

Then you will form a connection with Him, similarity to Him, and an understanding of Him. Suddenly you will begin to feel His attitude toward everyone, through which you will come to understand yourself and your mission. This is the most reliable path.

You become the Creator’s partner. After all, each of us must become His conduit and similar to Him, which means that you act as you believe the Creator acts in the world.

Everyone Includes Everything

577Question: What is the difference between asking for the group of people physically present at a congress and asking for all the friends who are in the state of the congress?

Answer: Do not confuse these states. Each time we are in different states. And even being in the same state, I can feel myself either as a small child among the friends, as equal to them, or above them. From these three states called embryo, small state, and great state, I can turn to them and to the Creator.

Question: And what is the difference between asking for the friends with whom I am physically at the congress and for the friends who are not physically near me?

Answer: What difference does it make where I am with them? I ask that the Creator raise and correct us. What do distances have to do with it?

I turn to the Creator with a request, with my impression of the friends I am with right now. Wherever a person comes from, he includes everything in himself. That is, I ask for the entire Kli; otherwise, I do not appeal to the Creator fully.

For the Creator, all of us and in general everything that exists across all times, all events, everything that can possibly be imagined is just one single desire created by Him. There is nothing else here, and therefore, there is no need to complicate things.

What difference does it make to me how many of my friends stayed at home and how many of them are here with whom I feel physically closer now and with whom I am further away. It does not matter. It is enough to ask the Creator to help them, and He will help them.

How Can You Realize that Everything Comes from the Creator?

165Question: When a person is in a good state, he forgets about the Creator. When he is in a bad state, it seems like there is a rule of not attributing it to the Creator. Where is the guide that should and is able to help bring everything to the Creator between these states?

Answer: Generally, such a channel is the group that helps one take a position from which he can begin to justify the Creator. Or the Creator Himself arouses in a person a desire for something non-spiritual and at the same time gives him an understanding that this action comes from Him.

Or we can put it another way, the desire for something other than the spiritual is given to him so that by realizing it comes from the Creator, he can properly direct himself by his own efforts.

Question: So the Creator, along with any sensation, always gives a person the opportunity to turn to Him, to justify Him?

Answer: I cannot always say that because there is also a double concealment.

Single concealment is when a person realizes the concealment he is currently in comes from the Creator; i.e., there is a higher reason. Double concealment is when the reason disappears.

Look Only for the Positive!

528.02Question: Should we strive to detect a split in the ten?

Answer: No! Always envision the ten in an ideal state. That is it! There is no need to criticize it. You do not need to “repair” the ten.

If you think that you should investigate the breakage, search for it, and disclose it, then you are deeply mistaken. There is nothing to search for! Always look for only the good, only the positive!

And then, if a negative thing appears, it will manifest itself in a stream of positive movement and will be corrected simultaneously. That is the only way!

Under no circumstances should you engage in any negative feelings, investigations, or introspection. You certainly cannot practice self-flagellation. You must stop this.

Create the Image of the Creator within Oneself

258The most important thing for us is to master the methodology of approaching the Creator, which is achieved through the connection of friends within the group. After all, it is impossible to perceive the Creator or invoke His influence upon oneself without practicing this within oneself.

It is as if we construct the image of the Creator within ourselves. This is why the Creator is called “Bore”—”Bo-u-Ré”—”Come and See.” “Come” means to form this shape within yourself, to come to it, and then you will study it within yourself.

You cannot study the Creator outside of yourself. There is no such concept as “outside oneself” in a person. It may seem to them that they perceive something external. In reality, everything is felt within oneself, just like when working with a computer. If we see something on the computer, we are not interacting with something outside of it. It is all within the computer.

The same applies to us. It seems to me that there are some images outside of me, that I see, hear, and feel something external, a world beyond myself. But these are just incorrect perceptions. In reality, everything is experienced within us.

Therefore all our actions boil down to creating conditions within ourselves that form the image of the Creator inside us. Our most effective state is when we turn to Him because this turning consists of our desire, the feeling of what we have today, and our awareness of who or what we must become in the next moment—not today, but tomorrow.

Although “today” and “tomorrow” are merely two different yet closely connected states, in this way we express our desire, awareness, and understanding of who we are at this moment and what we should become in the next.

If these actions are correctly directed toward the Creator and properly define the initial and final states, we thereby draw the Creator’s light, a special force that fulfills our desire. It is then that changes occur within us.

The Path to the New States

942Our correct attitude toward the Creator is manifested only if we are in a group of our own kind, and we see the manifestation of the quality of bestowal, the quality of love, which are unreal qualities among friends that are not of our world; and at the same time we see how the group respects these qualities, how it welcomes, elevates, and values them.

Then I can learn from this and understand that I too want to bestow and to love because for this I will be appreciated, respected, and my egoism will be filled by it.

You might say that this way is leading us to even greater egoism. Of course. But still, at the same time, this work is also against oneself. That is, I can ask the Creator: “Give me the quality to better and more correctly treat others.” It is still an egoistic quality for my own sake, but I want to draw upon myself the light that would begin to change me.

And here we begin to enter into a completely different system of relationships. That is, although I am an egoist who is asking the Creator to make me seemingly a more egoistic being, it is egoistic in the spiritual sense of the word, but in the world where I exist, it is not egoistic.

It turns out that there are two consequences to my action. On the one hand, I ask to fill my egoism with vanity and respect of others in order to realize my envy in advancing forward.

On the other hand, the light that affects me changes me in the opposite direction. It evokes in me the quality of bestowal, and then I suddenly discover that the qualities of bestowal are valuable in themselves, that I want to exist in them even without any consequences for my egoism.

Gradually, this happens. This is how we come to the new states.
