Questions about Spiritual Work—218
Question: It is said, “Buy, but do not sell.” On the other hand, I must disseminate and bestow. How do these two things connect? How should this be understood?
Answer: It means that one must constantly care about their connection with the Creator; don’t exchange it for anything else, only expand it.
Question: We learn that there is a hierarchy of desires: food, sex, family, money, honor, and knowledge. Should I distinguish which force of desire or which line of connection can bring me back to the Creator?
Answer: It will be shown to you. You can draw closer to the Creator either through connection on the right side or connection on the left side.
Question: In our world there are examples where parents give everything to their children, but the children end up hating them, or for instance, a wealthy relative helps everyone, yet everyone secretly despises them. Could it happen, God forbid, that instead of loving the Creator, a person comes to hate Him because He gives them everything?
Answer: No, this is impossible with the Creator.
