Comment: Uncle Peter, who works as a street cleaner, lives in our building. He is a very kind, good person, whose integrity and honesty are absolute. I can leave him my home keys and go away for two or three days, and I can count on him to accompany my kid wherever he needs to go and so on.
I can say that the light is revealed through him this way, and he surely doesn’t need any special knowledge, a ten, or any other connection in order to be in the state of the light and purity.
My Response: Of course he doesn’t need any of this information if he is such a person by nature. The wisdom of Kabbalah is intended for people who have a huge, corrupt, uncorrected ego and who want to correct it themselves. They understand that they want to attain something.
Uncle Peter doesn’t want to attain anything and everything is fine with him, he has everything. He is totally satisfied, independent, and this is the reason he behaves the way he does. But a dog in the yard that is happy with what it has can also behave this way. Such people are undoubtedly kind, but they are not beneficial in the correction of humanity because they have no inclination to do so.
Only uncorrected egoists who want something and cannot find peace in their ordinary life reach the wisdom of Kabbalah. They feel bad in this world and they cannot stand it or themselves. They feel that their attributes are not corrected and therefore should be corrected. This is actually the reason that this world was given to us.

Question: What, in fact, can a person give and to whom? If to the Creator, then again, what? And does the Creator need it?
Answer: A person should not give anything to anyone. He only has to unite with everyone in order to become such a sensor, such a receiver, that is capable of absorbing the entire universe, all of nature.
To do this, he needs to get rid of his egoism, rise above it. After all, egoism narrows us down very much and allows us to see today only what may be of interest for me, as a small egoist.
And if I want to rise above my animal nature, then through the group, through special exercises, I need to get out of myself.

Question: What is the main task of a woman in Kabbalah today?
Answer: The same as of men: to rise above her egoism, unite with others, and reach the Creator.
Question: Should a woman unite with other women who study Kabbalah with her?
Answer: Yes it is worthwhile. If there is a serious group led by a serious teacher, then it is worth it. It is very difficult alone. Or you can study over the Internet.

Question: In Kabbalistic literature, especially in the writings of Rabash, a lot has been written about such states as the analysis of “bittersweet” and “truth – lie.” What are these categories?
Answer: These are two types of analysis: through the heart and through the mind. We have only two systems, sensory, called “heart,” and mental, called “brain,” “mind,” “head.” We usually pass through them everything that we perceive and to which we want to somehow relate.
The bittersweet analysis goes through the heart and the truth – lie through the mind.
Bittersweet is a natural analysis. We see it even in babies who have not yet developed mental analysis at all.
Question: What is it? For example, if I feel good, is it sweet?
Answer: What is good for me is good. And how good it will be in a minute, because maybe it will be bad, doesn’t matter to me, at the moment I feel good.
Question: So this is a program? I move closer to something good and move away from something bad.
Answer: Yes. This is a consequence of analysis. At the same time, we must run a true – false analysis. It may be sweet, but harmful, and vice versa, bitter, but useful. This is how we can move.
But the most important thing is how we compare these two types of analysis: mental and sensory.

Ascents and descents are necessary on our path; we must treat them equally and constructively and understand that we build ourselves through them. We think that the ascents are good because they feel more pleasant for our egoism. But in fact, a true worker feels better about the descents because they allow him to expand his work. A true master is happy that he has difficulties, experiences, burning, and search.
The ten is like King David’s harp, which the Creator plays on its strings. We want to make this instrument from ourselves, to join the Creator through our connection, to help Him in everything He does with us, and to try at every step to reveal His every address in order to allow Him to play on us. This is how we come to adhesion with the Creator.
If the friends want to connect in such a way that everyone complements the other, they reveal how much they all can adhere to the Creator through each person in the ten. No one can contact the Creator alone. Each time someone establishes a connection with the Creator and joins all the others to it.
There is always a structure of ten Sefirot where each one plays a special role, representing one Sefira, and we all attack together. It is like a military unit that goes on the offensive, and the one in front is the first to shoot, and then he retreats behind the backs of his friends. Then the second comes out in his place, while the first reloads the gun. Then the third, and the fourth one, and so on.

Question: Doctors advise us to cry once a week. They say tears relieve psychological stress. When we cry, endorphins, which we lack, are released. Also, they say physical pain is dulled. The body produces enkephalins, which are natural pain relievers. Sweat and tears help remove harmful toxins from the body, and tears help lower blood pressure. ”
It seems we should cry more often. Can you explain this?
Answer: Definitely. There is a lot in tears, in the very process of crying, in this little inner stress that tears carry.
This is purification. A man cries out.
Question: Does one have to cry to the end, and after that, he is at peace?
Answer: It is not easy. Even more so for men. It happens only sometimes when special exciting actions take place, when you feel that you are revealing something. But these are not women’s tears.
Question: Are men’s tears different from women’s?
Answer: Absolutely. This is where a borderline between men and women becomes clear—a woman cannot cry for male reasons or a man for female reasons. There is nothing to be done here. Therefore, we are two and not a single one. Our tears are different. We have different systems! In a male, it goes through the brain, and in a female through the heart and womb.
In a male, it goes a little through the heart, but mostly through the brain. In a female—through the heart and mainly through the womb. Tears go through these systems, which are called masculine and feminine.
A man cries when he realizes something special and his awareness of this special thing merges with his feelings for it. A woman cries when all this goes through her system. After all, they are completely different people. They are from different worlds!
Question: Then what does the connection of these worlds mean?
Answer: They do not connect. They unite only in the Creator when they rise above themselves in order to reveal their common single root. Only there can they unite, reveal the Creator, and each one truly reveal themselves in the other.
Therefore, there is such a special pull between us, the oppositeness of these genders and so on. This is a very complex system of relationships.
Question: Does the real union appear there—in the Creator?
Answer: In heaven, as they say.
Question: You are not a sentimental person, but when we are talking about your teacher Rabash very often I see how your eyes suddenly moisten and how different you become. Why?
Answer: I cannot do anything about it. Because the root of my soul is in him, that is why I am different.

Michael Laitman, On Quora: “What are 5 facts about spiritual love?“
1) The attainment of spiritual love and spiritual connection can only take place above sensations of hatred and rejection. If we love others without having built love above hatred and rejection, then it is not spiritual love.
2) It is written about the attainment of spiritual love in the Torah, that “Love will cover all crimes” (Proverbs 10:12).
3) Spiritual attainment requires holding onto the rule of “Love will cover all crimes,” and that we cannot hold love without feeling the “crimes,” i.e., hatred and rejection of others. The attitude to love and hatred thus needs to be equal in importance. We attain spirituality between them both, and thus those who wish to attain spirituality need to equally position love and hatred, or connection and rejection, before themselves.
4) The human ego, which is a desire to enjoy at the expense of others, is the cause of feeling hatred and rejection toward others; it is an “anti-spiritual” quality. Developing spiritual love thus requires feeling hatred and rejection illuminating in our ego’s rejection of spirituality, then reaching a decision to restrict the ego, and then above the ego, developing an attitude of love and connection to others. Moreover, such an attitude needs to be constant, where we feel love and hatred simultaneously, and choose love above the hatred. It is unlike our corporeal world, where we love and hate at different times. Holding these qualities together gains us access to the sensation of eternity.
5) The development and discovery of spiritual love above its opposite hatred and rejection is the “artistry” of spirituality. In the language of Kabbalah, it is expressed as follows: that the spiritual Partzuf (a spiritual entity or identity) takes its Aviut (coarse egoistic desire), which is a sensation of hatred and a complete lack of connection to others, and through a Tzimtzum (restriction) of the egoistic desire, the Partzuf rises above the Aviut to connect—elevating values of connection much higher in importance than the natural egoistic inclination—and to the extent of the oppositeness between qualities of love/connection and hatred/rejection, the new, higher, more spiritual and giving Partzuf is discovered: both through the Aviut (coarse egoistic desire) below, and the Zakut (purity) above.

Question: What does hastening the spiritual path mean and why do we need it?
Answer: Spiritual acceleration means speeding up development. It can happen only to the extent that I am not doing it for myself but only for the group, for the Creator, for humanity, meaning for anything that goes beyond the framework of my egoism.
If I yearn to speed up my spiritual development in order to help others, I will receive additional strength, and by accelerating my development, I will draw the entire Kli, the whole soul, after me.
