Spiritual Vessel and Klipa
Question: What is a true spiritual vessel (Kli)?
Answer: A true Kli is a desire ready for correction. I must fully clarify what part of it I can correct toward bestowal and what part I cannot correct and must simply restrict.
For example, I’m given a desire, and I determine that I can correct 20% of it toward bestowal, and 80% I must restrict and make Sof out of it, the end of the Partzuf. This would mean that I have corrected that entire desire. There are always both kinds of desires, but it must be clear to me what to do with each.
However, within me there may awaken desires that I do not understand. The light reaching me may be insufficient to illuminate all desires in every detail. Therefore, I am left with unclarified desires called Hash and Mal, Noga.
I am as if in a fog, and I must not touch part of these desires. I only need to keep them alive, like Klipot, to maintain some form of life in them. Such compromises I must accept out of helplessness and inability to carry out a correction. Thus, unlike clarified desires called “root,” “soul,” and “body”, these desires are called “garments” and “palaces,” meaning they are as if not mine, not my true desire.
Later, at the very end of correction, these desires will become truly mine. They will join what is called “brain,” “bones,” and “tendons,” and will become my single spiritual vessel, and will revealing that all reality is within me. Not as it is now where it seems to me that there is myself and an external world outside of me.
