Question: We talk about going back from fear and coming back from love. A person is constantly returning and leaving, returning and leaving. How can I be sure that I will no longer descend below a certain level from fear or love for the Creator?

Answer: It is said, “How is repentance? When He who knows the mysteries will testify that he will not turn back to folly” (The Zohar, Tazria). The Creator Himself guarantees that a person will no longer fall into the desire to receive.

In other words, the guarantee is the light of the Creator, which supports the person.
